A floorprint-based yield modeling, assurance and optimization method for the defect tolerant NASIC system under broken nanowire (NW) defects has been proposed in a short version of this paper, and the proposed models and methods are further validated and demonstrated through extensive parametric simulations in this paper. A yield model for each defect tolerant NASIC technique is developed based on the nature of the defects of concern in a floorprint-based analysis, thereby establishing an adequate foundation to evaluate and optimize the manufacturing process and defect tolerance by providing a capability to take into account the effect of each individual defect tolerance technique or synergetic effect of various combinations of the techniques on the overall expected yield of the product. According to the simulation results given in this paper, the defect tolerant NASIC system with 15 row and column NWs, respectively, each with length = 0.000034 on horizontal and vertical core nanoarray in a nanotile can achieve a yield higher than 99.8%. Ultimately, intelligent exploitation of the proposed yield modeling and simulation methods will make possible to realize a reliable NASIC-based computing system. 相似文献

The prediction of change propagation is one of the important issues in engineering change management. The aim of this article is to explore the capability of Bayesian network (BN), which is an emerging tool for a wide range of risk management, in modeling and analysis of change propagation. To this end, we compare the BN with change prediction method (CPM), which is the most established probabilistic methods for predicting change propagation. This paper shows that a CPM-based model can be converted into an equivalent BN, and the probabilistic inference technique on the latter results in the same change prediction result obtained from the former. Then, this paper shows that several improvements can be obtained at various levels using the BN. At the modeling level, complex relationship between components such as combined effect of simultaneous changes or multistate relationship can be naturally represented with the BN. At the analysis level, various change propagation scenarios can be analyzed using probabilistic inference on the BN. Finally, BN provides a robust framework for learning change propagation probabilities from empirical data. The case study is conducted to show the feasibility of the model. 相似文献

This paper presents an analytical modeling technique for the simulation of long-range ultrasonic guided waves in structures. The model may be used to predict the displacement field in a prismatic structure arising from any excitation arrangement and may therefore be used as a tool to design new inspection systems. It is computationally efficient and relatively simple to implement, yet gives accuracy similar to finite element analysis and semi-analytical finite element analysis methods. The model has many potential applications; one example is the optimization of part-circumferential arrays where access to the full circumference of the pipe is restricted. The model has been successfully validated by comparison with finite element solutions. Experimental validation has also been carried out using an array of piezoelectric transducer elements to measure the displacement field arising from a single transducer element in an 88.9-mm-diameter pipe. Good agreement has been obtained between the two models and the experimental data. 相似文献

拱脚连接结构是系杆拱桥的关键局部结构,构造复杂且局部边界条件不明确,该文引入多尺度有限元建模方法研究其受力性能与传力特征,针对以往研究中采用传统局部精细有限元方法存在的不足,引入弹性边界的概念,将系杆拱桥整桥通过合理的连接方式统一到拱脚连接结构精细模型中以替代局部精细模型中的刚性边界条件假定,并通过全桥精细有限元进行验证。以大连某钢管混凝土系杆拱桥为工程背景,基于提出的系杆拱桥拱脚连接结构多尺度有限元建模方法,建立了多尺度模型。同时,根据传统局部精细及全桥精细有限元建模方法,分别建立了局部精细与全桥精细模型作为对比、验证模型。详细的对比研究表明,局部精细模型分析结果受失真区影响较显著,且失真区范围不能通过本模型定量确定,导致传统建模方法科学性降低、计算结果可信度下降,或通过精细有限元试算、全桥精细有限元检验确定失真区范围,带来繁重的精细有限元建模、计算、数据处理工作。应用弹性边界条件,该文提出的拱脚连接结构多尺度有限元建模方法可以较好地模拟局部结构的复杂边界条件,较精确地预测拱脚连接结构的受力行为,且不受失真区影响,计算结果与全桥精细有限元吻合良好。 相似文献
