级进模向导(PDW)是UG软件的一个重要功能模块,PDW提供了毛坯布局、废料设计、工序排样、标准件设计、模架设计、冲裁设计、镶块组设计、让位槽设计等功能。打印机支架按工序设置了冲导正孔、冲安装孔、成形凹坑、冲废料、折弯、Z折弯、冲载体废料7个工位,完成全部工位后,便可得到一个完整的冲压成品制件。PDW能自动执行级进模的设计和细化工作,使用PDW可以极大地提高级进模设计效率。 相似文献

This paper describes the research work involved in developing an automated progressive design system with multiple processes such as piercing, bending, and deep drawing for manufacturing products. This approach to make a progressive, flexible working system is based on knowledge-based rules. The knowledge required for this system is formulated from plasticity theories, experimental results, and the empirical knowledge of field experts. The system consists of three main modules: shape treatment, strip layout, and die layout modules. The system is founded on knowledge-based rules and is designed in consideration of several factors, such as the material and thickness of a product, the piercing, bending and deep drawing sequence, and the complexities of blank geometry and punch profiles. The system then generates the strip layout drawing for an automobile product. The die layout module carries out the die design for each process from the results of the strip layout module. The results obtained using the modules enable the designers of manufacturing products with multiple processes to be more efficient in this field. 相似文献

bending radius, bending angle, effect of springback, material and thickness of a product, bending sequence, and the complexities
of the blank geometry and punch profiles. It generates the 3D strip layout drawing for an electric product. The die layout
module carries out die design for each process from the results of the strip layout module. Results obtained using the modules

serve as a valuable system for experts and as a dependable training aid for beginners.

It is widely accepted that stamping process planning for the strip layout is a key task in progressive die design. However,
stamping process planning is more of an art rather than a science. This is in spite of recent advances in the field of artificial
intelligence, which have achieved a lot of success in incorporating built-in intelligence and applying diverse knowledge to
solving this kind of problem. The main difficulty is that existing knowledge-based expert systems for stamping process planning
lack a proper architecture for organizing heterogeneous knowledge sources (KSs) in a cooperative decision making environment.
This paper presents a knowledge-based blackboard framework for stamping process planning. The proposed approach speeds up
the progressive die design process by automating the strip layout design. An example is included to show the effectiveness
