In Silico Investigation of Potential Applications of Gamma Carbonic Anhydrases as Catalysts of CO2 Biomineralization Processes: A Visit to the Thermophilic Bacteria Persephonella hydrogeniphila,Persephonella marina,Thermosulfidibacter takaii,and Thermus thermophilus

Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) have been identified as ideal catalysts for CO₂ sequestration. Here, we report the sequence and structural analyses as well as the molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of four γ-CAs from thermophilic bacteria. Three of these, Persephonella marina, Persephonella hydrogeniphila, and Thermosulfidibacter takaii originate from hydrothermal vents and one, Thermus thermophilus HB8, from hot springs. Protein sequences were retrieved and aligned with previously characterized γ-CAs, revealing differences in the catalytic pocket residues. Further analysis of the structures following homology modeling revealed a hydrophobic patch in the catalytic pocket, presumed important for CO₂ binding. Monitoring of proton shuttling residue His69 (P. marina γ-CA numbering) during MD simulations of P. hydrogeniphila and P. marina’s γ-CAs (γ-PhCA and γ-PmCA), showed a different behavior to that observed in the γ-CA of Escherichia coli, which periodically coordinates Zn²⁺. This work also involved the search for hotspot residues that contribute to interface stability. Some of these residues were further identified as key in protein communication via betweenness centrality metric of dynamic residue network analysis. T. takaii’s γ-CA showed marginally lower thermostability compared to the other three γ-CA proteins with an increase in conformations visited at high temperatures being observed. Hydrogen bond analysis revealed important interactions, some unique and others common in all γ-CAs, which contribute to interface formation and thermostability. The seemingly thermostable γ-CA from T. thermophilus strangely showed increased unsynchronized residue motions at 423 K. γ-PhCA and γ-PmCA were, however, preliminarily considered suitable as prospective thermostable CO₂ sequestration agents.

为了提高注入剖面测井的准确性，研制了一种新型注入剖面组合测井仪。该仪器由流量处理单元、伽马处理单元、井温处理单元、磁性定位处理单元、调制式传输、电源电路六部分组成。一次下井可同时测取流量、伽马、井温、磁性定位四组参数。具有测取资料精度高、单芯电缆传输、流量可单点测量也可连续测量以厦现场监测和维修方便等特点。     

含氮金刚石结构中Jahn-Teller畸变效应的计算

研究了由J.Bourgoin和M.Lannoo提出的半导体内Jahn-Teller畸变效应的计算理论。应用Bourgoin和Lannoo的方法研究了含中心氮杂质金刚石结构的Jahn-Teller畸变问题,计算了34C+N簇团的T2模耦合沿%111&晶向的Jahn-Teller畸变效应,结果与实验相符。     

彩色AC-PDP运动图像仿真系统的开发

开发了彩色AC-PDP运动图像仿真系统,通过利用本系统的运动图像仿真功能可以对现有的各种显示技术、与子场有关的各种因素进行仿真及比较,为人们开发提高彩色AC-PDP图像显示质量的新型技术及子场提供了理论上的依据;通过利用本系统的Gamma特性研究功能可以对彩色AC-PDP中视频信号的反Gamma特性进行研究,并对反Gamma相关编码进行子场逼近,为选择符合要求的子场编码提供了判据.     

IP网络信源信道联合编码策略

面向IP网络,讨论了一种信源编码的失真估计模型,并用典型的视频编码器作了验证.提出了一种基于包的信道编码方法,并将该方法引入信道编码的失真估计中,对一种信道编码的失真估计模型作了改进.以前述内容为基础,提出了两种信源信道联合编码策略,实验结果表明,这两种策略得到的最优结果在很大程度上提高了视频重建质量.     

X射线光刻掩模背面刻蚀过程中的形变仿真

开发了理论模型以验证有限元方法用于X射线光刻掩模刻蚀过程数值仿真的正确性。利用相同的有限元技术，对X射线光刻掩模的背面开窗、Si片刻蚀过程进行数值仿真。结果表明，图形区域的最大平面内形变(IPD)出现在上、下边缘处，最大非平面形变(OPD)出现在左、右边缘处。此外对Si片单载荷步刻蚀和多载荷步刻蚀的仿真进行比较，结果表明图形区域最终的形变量与Si片刻蚀的过程无关。     

Retrograde Amnesia Induced by Drugs Acting on Different Molecular Systems.

The gamma aminobutyric acid-A (GABAA) agonist, muscimol, the glutamate N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, D-2-amino-5-phosphonopentanoic acid (AP5), and the inhibitor of the extracellularly regulated kinases (ERKs), UO 126, cause retrograde amnesia when administered to the hippocampus. In the present study, the authors found that they all cause retrograde amnesia for 1-trial inhibitory avoidance, not only when infused into the dorsal CA1 region of the hippocampus, but also when infused into the basolateral amygdala or the entorhinal, parietal, and posterior cingulate cortices. The posttraining time course of the effect of each drug was, however, quite different across brain structures. Thus, in all of them, NMDA receptors and the ERK pathway are indispensable for memory consolidation, and GABAA receptor activation inhibits memory consolidation: but in each case, their influence is interwoven differently. 基于放大器非线性拟合的自适应预失真技术

本文提出了一种新的有效的大功率放大器非线性失真的数字自适应预失真设计方法。该方法基于有理双线函数的非线性及其逆变换易于求解的特性，设计大功率放大器的估计器以逼近大功率放大器的非线性特性，预失真器的非线性参数由估计器的逼近函数逐段取逆变换来调节，以达到预失真补偿的目的。计算机仿真结果表明：该方法用于正交频分复用（OFDM）系统中具有收敛速度快、系统性能稳定、补偿效果好等特点。     

Process issues in treatment: Application to sexual offender programs.

How critical is the therapeutic alliance in the treatment of sexual offenders? To date such process issues have been neglected in the field of sex offender treatment. This article reviews the literature on the influence on behavior change of therapist features, clients' perceptions, and the therapeutic alliance. Among the many therapist features identified as helpful are empathy, warmth, and being directive and rewarding. Therapists who are aggressively confrontational appear not to foster beneficial changes in their clients. These issues are directly related to treatment issues faced by therapists who work with sexual offenders, such as dealing with cognitive distortions, lack of empathy, and lack of motivation to change.
