Lutein and lutein esters in marigold flowers was quantitatively determined by high performance chromatography (HPLC) with ODS-C18 column. A mixture of CH3CN-CH3OH-CH3COOCH2CH2 with volume ratio of 55:1:44 was used as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0mL/min and detection was carried out at 480 nm. The column temperature was about 20℃. The contents of lutein and lutein esters were determined by analytical curve of lutein since lutein and lutein esters have the same spectral characteristics. Determination results of hexane extracts and saponified samples of lutein show that the saponification transforms the esters into free lutein. The increase of the content of dipalmitate and palmitate stearate reveals that the reaction includes transesterifications.  相似文献

Factors influencing the formation and properties of lutein‐loaded nanoemulsions fabricated using spontaneous emulsification (SE) were investigated. Nanoemulsion formation depended on oil type: small droplets (diameter ≈ 200 nm) with a narrow monomodal particle size distribution (polydispersity index ≈ 0.23) could be formed using medium‐chain triglycerides (MCT), but not long‐chain triglycerides. Nanoemulsion formation also depended on surfactant type and concentration, with Tween 80 being the most effective surfactant. Optimisation of lutein‐loaded nanoemulsions formed by SE led to systems with a final composition of 10 wt% oil phase (0.12 wt% lutein + 9.88 wt% MCT), 10 wt% Tween 80, and 80 wt% aqueous phase. The nanoemulsions were stable to droplet aggregation when stored at ambient temperature for up to 1 month; however, some colour fading occurred due to lutein degradation. This study indicated the potential of nanoemulsion‐based delivery system fabricated using a low‐energy method for encapsulation and protection of lutein.  相似文献

以反式叶黄素晶体为芯材,辛烯基琥珀酸酯化淀粉和蔗糖为壁材,通过乳化、均质、喷雾干燥等工艺,制备叶黄素微胶囊。通过单因素试验和正交试验确定叶黄素微胶囊化最优的工艺条件为蔗糖占总壁材质量为10%、壁材质量浓度0.15g/mL、芯壁材质量比1:15、乳化剂添加量为总壁材质量的0.6%、胶体磨均质两次、进料速度400mL/h、进风温度160℃、出风温度80℃,所得产品微胶囊效率和产率分别为92.35%和90.27%,且品质良好。  相似文献

Lutein is a human serum carotenoid which is not synthesized by humans and thus must be obtained by the ingestion of food containing it such as fruits and vegetables. Lutein is present in different forms in those foods as all-trans-lutein, cis-lutein, epoxi-lutein, and lutein linked to proteins. It discusses if the intake of lutein or diets supplemented with lutein or diets rich in fruits and vegetables are important in the prevention of diseases like some cancers, cardiovascular diseases, etc., that may be affected by the antioxidant effect of lutein; or in the prevention of age-related macular degeneration and other eye diseases. The concentration of lutein in fruits and vegetables depends on the species. We've included the concentration of lutein in 74 species reported by different authors since 1990. Currently the quantification of lutein is mainly performed by HPLC, but more investigations into a quantification method for lutein, lutein isomers, and epoxi-lutein are necessary. Improvement of lutein extraction methods is important as well. Methods commonly used in the vegetable and fruit industry like heat treatment, storage conditions, etc. can change lutein concentrations; other factors depend on the plant, for instance the variety, the stage of maturity, etc.  相似文献

为明确叶黄素对母鼠乳腺分泌IgA能力的影响,本实验对妊娠母鼠添加饲喂叶黄素,检测母鼠血清中IgG、IgA和IgM含量变化,母鼠乳腺组织中IgA mRNA表达量和IgA抗体分泌细胞数量变化,以及仔鼠胃内容物中IgA浓度变化。结果表明:在妊娠21 d和分娩后7 d时,实验组血清中IgG和IgA浓度显著高于正常对照组(P<0.05),IgM含量虽有升高,与正常对照组相比,无显著性差异(P>0.05);乳腺组织中IgA mRNA表达量无显著变化(P>0.05);分娩后14 d IgA抗体分泌细胞数量显著增加(P<0.05);仔鼠胃内容物中IgA含量极显著高于对照组(P<0.01)。说明给妊娠母鼠添加饲喂叶黄素可以增强乳腺分泌IgA的能力。  相似文献

The nutritional composition of two marine microalgae, Chlorella spp. and Monodus subterraneus, cultured in an outdoor bubble column photobioreactor used in batch mode was analyzed. Nutrients are reported at different microalgal growth phases. The proximate composition (moisture, crude protein, available carbohydrates and saponifiable oil), fatty acid and carotenoids at different growth stages were determined. On average, the biomass contained high amounts of protein in the two analyzed microalgae for all growth stages. Chlorella spp. biomass contained α-linolenic acid as predominant fatty acid, while M. subterraneus biomass was rich in palmitic and eicosapentaenoic fatty acids, which reached a maximum EPA productivity at the exponential growth phase (65.0 mg· L?1·day?1). For both microalgae, carotenoid content was strongly influenced by the growth phase. Chlorella spp. biomass was found to be good sources of lutein and β-carotene, while M. subterraneus biomass exhibited high amounts of neoxanthin and β-carotene. A high carotenoid productivity was obtained for this microalgae at the stationary growth phase, with 19.4 mg·L?1·day?1. The results of this study clearly demonstrated the relevance of microalgae for potential use in functional foods, justifying their commercial production.  相似文献

为阐明玉米蛋白粉类胡萝卜素提取物叶黄素和玉米黄素对人口腔上皮癌细胞株KB凋亡的诱导作用,探讨其分子生物学机制。本文采用单细胞凝胶电泳、DNA凝胶电泳、流式细胞术检测叶黄素和玉米黄素诱导口腔癌细胞凋亡的情况。结果发现:单细胞凝胶电泳显示玉米蛋白粉叶黄素和玉米黄素能造成KB细胞DNA损伤、DNA凝胶电泳显示能使KB细胞DNA发生明显的降解,DNA周期分析主要阻断口腔癌细胞由G1向S期转变;流式细胞仪检测明显抑制人口腔癌细胞株KB中bcl-2基因的蛋白表达,明显升高p53、Bax基因的蛋白表达;说明玉米蛋白粉类胡萝卜素提取物叶黄素和玉米黄素具有明显抑制口腔上皮癌细胞增殖、并诱导其凋亡的作用。  相似文献
