Effects of molasses grass,Melinis minutiflora volatiles on the foraging behavior of the cereal stemborer parasitoid,Cotesia sesamiae 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Olfactory responses of the cereal stemborer parasitoid Cotesia
sesamiae to volatiles emitted by gramineous host and nonhost plants of the stemborers were studied in a Y-tube olfactometer. The host plants were maize (Zea mays) and sorghum ( Sorghum bicolor), while the nonhost plant was molasses grass (Melinis minutiflora). In single-choice tests, females of C. sesamiae chose volatiles from infested and uninfested host plants and molasses grass over volatiles from the control (soil). In dual-choice tests, the wasp preferred volatiles from infested host plants to those from uninfested host plants. There was no discrimination between molasses grass volatiles and those of uninfested maize, uninfested sorghum, or infested maize. The wasp preferred sorghum volatiles over maize. Combining uninfested maize or sorghum with molasses grass did not make volatiles from the combination more attractive as compared to only uninfested host plants. Infested maize alone was as attractive as when combined with molasses grass. Infested sorghum was preferred over its combination with molasses grass. Local growth conditions of the molasses grasses influenced attractiveness to the parasitoids. Volatiles from Thika molasses grass were attractive, while those from Mbita molasses grass were not. Growing the Thika molasses grass in Mbita rendered it unattractive and vice versa with the Mbita molasses grass. This is a case of the same genotype expressing different phenotypes due to environmental factors. 相似文献

柑桔加工废弃物约占果实质量的50%,含大量糖分,适宜制备糖蜜和发酵生产乙醇.研究了用废弃物制取糖蜜及生产乙醇的工艺和条件.结果表明,柑桔皮渣制取糖蜜时,生石灰的适宜添加量为0.3%,制得的可溶性固形物为40%的糖蜜,总糖含量为34%.对pH值、糖度、接菌量和温度等影响发酵的主要因素做单因素研究基础上开展了正交试验,得到柑桔糖蜜发酵的较佳工艺条件为:发酵液的初始pH 5.0,初始含糖量25%,接种量3×107个/mL,温度保持在30℃,静置发酵.由此获得含量为10.6%的乙醇产品,为探索用柑桔糖蜜生产燃料乙醇提供了参考. 相似文献

以甘蔗糖蜜为原料,利用糖蜜中的糖类与辛烯基琥珀酸酐反应制备辛烯基琥珀酸糖酯,对其性质进行研究,并以辛烯基琥珀酸糖酯为主要活性成分复配手洗型餐具洗涤剂,对该餐具洗涤剂的性质和去污力进行研究.结果表明,实验制备的辛烯基琥珀酸糖酯稳定性良好,具有较好的起泡性和起泡稳定性.以辛烯基琥珀酸糖酯为主要成分制备的手洗型餐具洗涤剂具有适宜的黏度,良好的起泡性和去污力,符合国标中餐具洗涤剂的要求. 相似文献

The excessive burning of fossil fuels is one of the main sources of emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) which causes the greenhouse effect. The effect could be resulted in climate changes and disorder of our ecosystem. Thus, bioenergy developments will play important roles to help decreasing CO2 emission for better global environment in the future. In the domain of biohydrogen production, biomass including: cellulose, wastewater and agricultural waste are the main resources to maintain feedstock demand. Developing sustainable energy with sustainable feedstock sources like sugary wastewater by using two-stage biomass-derived gas production system might bring great economic profits to business. In this study, the system will be chosen to testify its sustainability when producing the sugary wastewater to renewable source energy. The commercial potential analysis is derived from the internal rate of return (IRR). The novelty finding of this study, as the result showed, found out that the energy recovery is 1.12 times higher than single stage. According to the IRR analysis with the calculated years of 15 years, the IRR is 32.47% that means the system can payback within 3.19 years. Therefore, the feasibility of commercialization potential of biomass-derived gas production system can be verified. 相似文献

In this study, to evaluate the in vitro bioaccessibility of eight different pekmez and pestil samples, total phenolics, flavonoids, proanthocyanidins, anthocyanins and antioxidant capacity were determined at different phases of simulated gastrointestinal (GI) digestion. For the analysis of antioxidant activity, four different methods were used including 2,2‐azinobis(3‐ethylbenzothiazoline)‐6‐sulfonic acid, 1,1‐diphenyl‐2‐picrylhydrazil, ferric reducing antioxidant power and cupric ion reducing antioxidant capacity. The results revealed that the dialysed fraction (IN) represented 12–50%, 3–17% and 3–72% of the total phenolics, flavonoids and proanthocyanidins, respectively. Moreover, total antioxidant capacity of IN fraction was 2–57% of the initial values obtained for pekmez and pestil samples. To identify the influence of simulated in vitro GI digestion on total anthocyanins, only black mulberry molasses (pekmez) and plum leather (pestil) were analysed and according to the results no anthocyanins were detected in the IN fraction for both samples. This study is novel to report the utilization of molasses for the production of polyhydroxy propionate-co-hydroxy dodecanoate-co-hydroxy octadecanoate from Pseudomonas sp. LDC-5 as prospective biomaterial. Thermal analysis revealed its potential for thermal permanence and melt processing. 3T3 fibroblasts were cultured on these different scaffolds and their proliferation was compared. Giemsa and acridine orange/ethidium bromide staining revealed that there was no distinct change in morphology. Polyhydroxyalkanoate:poly ethylene glycol blend was found to be the most promising for extracellular matrix secretion, a key thrust function of 3D culture. Lactate dehydrogenase assay indicated the membrane integrity. DNA fragmentation analysis showed that the scaffold did not damage DNA. Thus the prepared scaffold can serve as a promising biomaterial. 相似文献
