Transportation demand of shipping container fluctuates due to the seasonality of international trade, thus, every 3–6 months, the liner company has to alter its current liner shipping service network, redeploy ships and design cargo routes with the objective of minimizing the total cost. To solve the problem, the paper presents a mixed integer linear program model. The proposed model incorporates several relevant constraints, such as weekly frequency, the transshipment of cargo between two or more service routes, and transport time. Extensive numerical experiments based on realistic date of Asia–Europe–Oceania shipping operations show that the proposed model can solve real-case problems efficiently by CPLEX. 阐述了液压活塞式惯容器的基本结构、工作原理与承载力大的特点,建立了考虑摩擦力、寄生阻尼力和油液弹性效应的惯容器非线性力学模型。在数控液压伺服激振台上对液压活塞式惯容器进行了力学性能试验,基于试验结果,利用Matlab参数辨识工具箱对非线性力学模型中的参数进行辨识。在此基础上建立了包含液压活塞式惯容器非线性因素的车辆惯容器 弹簧 阻尼器(inerter-spring-damper,简称ISD)悬架动力学模型并进行了仿真分析。结果表明,当考虑液压活塞式惯容器非线性因素时,车辆ISD悬架系统的车身加速度均方根值增加5%,而轮胎动载荷与悬架动行程均方根值均有所减小,降低了车辆的行驶平顺性。 相似文献

This paper introduces a complete methodology for retargeting of analog cells to different sets of specifications. This methodology is technology-independent, thus allowing the migration, from one technology to another, of the circuit under retargeting. Careful integration of the device sizing and layout generation tasks via the incorporation of layout constraints during the sizing process allows to generate fully functional designs in a few minutes. Many approaches have been proposed to enhance software productivity and reliability. These approaches typically fall into three categories: the engineering approach, the formal approach and the knowledge-based approach. But the optimal gain in software productivity cannot be obtained if one relies on only one of these approaches. This paper describes the work in knowledge-based software engineering conducted by the authors for the past 10 years. The final goal of the research is to develop a paradigm for software engineering which integrates the three approaches mentioned above. The philosophy of group technology (GT) is an important concept in the design of flexible manufacturing systems and manufacturing cells. Group technology is a manufacturing philosophy that identifies similar parts and groups them into families. Beside assigning unique codes to these parts, group technology developers intend to take advantage of part similarities during design and manufacturing processes. GT is not the answer to all manufacturing problems, but it is a good management technique with which to standardize efforts and eliminate duplication. Group technology classifies parts by assigning them to different families based on their similarities in: (1) design attributes (physical shape and size), and/or (2) manufacturing attributes (processing sequence). The manufacturing industry today is process focused; departments and sub units are no longer independent but are interdependent. If the product development process is to be optimized, engineering and manufacturing cannot remain independent any more: they must be coordinated. Each sub-system is a critical component within an integrated manufacturing framework. The coding and classification system is the basis of CAPP and the functioning and reliability of CAPP depends on the robustness of the coding system. The proposed coding system is considered superior to the previously proposed coding systems, in that it has the capability to migrate into multiple manufacturing environments. This article presents the design of a coding and classification system and the supporting database for manufacturing processes based on both design and manufacturing attributes of parts. An interface with the spreadsheet will calculate the machine operation costs for various processes. This menu-driven interactive package is implemented using dBASE-IV. A failure analysis case study is presented for a two-piece aerosol containing tetrafluoroethane, commonly referred to as Refrigerant
134a. A gentleman was preparing to recharge the air conditioning system of an automobile when the bottom exploded off the
aerosol container, propelling the body of the aerosol container like a rocket, which hit the man in the eye and blinded him
in that eye. The aerosol was never connected to the air conditioner, therefore backpressure from the air conditioner (AC)
compressor was ruled out as a cause for the explosion. The objective of the study was to determine why the aerosol exploded.
Several recently developed test methods were used, including two types of heat-to-burst tests and a puncture chamber to measure
the pressure-versus-temperature behavior of aerosols. More common test methods were also used, such as water bath pressure
tests, hydro pressure burst tests, pneumatic pressure burst tests, hardness measurements, weight measurements, metallography,
scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), and an accident scenario recreation. A semi-empirical
correlation between the hardness and weights of the container bottoms was used to determine the explosion temperature and/or
pressure. This semi-empirical correlation agrees in principle with an analysis of the explosion pressures using finite-element
analysis (FEA). The root cause for the explosion was determined to be a lack of strength of the bottom of the two-piece aerosol
coupled with heating the aerosol to temperatures significantly above room temperature. 相似文献
