An active balancer with rapid bidirectional charge shuttling and adaptive equalization current control for lithium-ion battery strings

This article proposes an active balancer, which features bidirectional charge shuttling and adaptive equalization current control, to fast counterbalance the state of charge (SOC) of cells in a lithium-ion battery (LIB) string. The power circuit consists of certain bidirectional buck-boost converters to transfer energy among the different cells back and forth. Owing to the characterization of the open-circuit voltage (OCV) vs SOC in LIB being relatively smooth near the SOC middle range, the SOC-inspected balance strategy can achieve more precise and efficient equilibrium than the voltage-based control. Accordingly, a compensated OCV-based SOC estimation is put forward to take into account the discrepancy of SOC estimation. Besides, the varied-duty-cycle (VDC) and curve-fitting modulation (CFM) methods are devised herein to tackle the problems of slow equalization rate and low balance efficacy, which arise from the diminution in balancing current as the SOC difference between the cells decreases in the later duration of equalization especially. The proposed strategies have taken the battery nonlinear characteristic and circuit parameter nonideality into account and can adaptively modulate the duty cycle with the SOC difference to keep balancing current constant throughout the balancing cycle. Simulated and experimental results are given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the same prototype constructed. Compared with the fixed duty cycle and the VDC methods, the proposed CFM has the best balancing efficiency of 81.4%, and the balance time is shortened by 27.1% and 18.6%, respectively.     

Lean production system design for fishing net manufacturing using lean principles and simulation optimization

Value stream mapping (VSM) is a useful tool for describing the manufacturing state, especially for distinguishing between those activities that add value and those that do not. It can help in eliminating non-value activities and reducing the work in process (WIP) and thereby increase the service level. This research follows the guidelines for designing future state VSM. These guidelines consist of five factors which can be changed simply, without any investment. These five factors are (1) production unit; (2) pacemaker process; (3) number of batches; (4) production sequence; and (5) supermarket size. The five factors are applied to a fishing net manufacturing system. Using experimental design and a simulation optimizing tool, the five factors are optimized. The results show that the future state maps can increase service level and reduce WIP by at least 29.41% and 33.92% respectively. For the present study, the lean principles are innovatively adopted in solving a fishing net manufacturing system which is not a well-addressed problem in literature. In light of the promising empirical results, the proposed methodologies are also readily applicable to similar industries.     

基于三维胞元空间的MA双向并行路由算法

针对传统移动代理(MA)在监测无线传感器网络(WSNs)的感兴趣信息时产生的延迟较大和能耗较多问题,提出了基于三维胞元空间的MA双向并行(3D-BPMA)路由算法.3D-BPMA将MA与传统的客户/服务器(c/S)模式相结合,在胞元内利用C/S模式搜集信息,在单层胞元系统和路由器与路由器之间采用MA双向并行的策略进行传输.仿真结果表明:3D-BPMA与LCF,DSG-MIP算法相比减少了平均响应时间和网络平均能耗,提高了MA发送率.

多标准视频硬件解码器的存储器地址映射方法

提出了一种支持多标准视频的存储器地址映射方法,用一个简洁的公式把视频图像映射到DDR SDRAM的存储空间.该方法兼顾运动补偿模块、去块效应滤波模块(或重建模块)和显示模块的不同需求特点,通过充分减少DDR SDRAM非读写命令的额外延时,达到较高的存储器接口效率.     

双转向垂向控缝技术实验研究及现场应用

针对压裂过程中缝高较难控制的问题，研制开发出新型的油溶性垂向双转向剂，并开展了室内实验研究。首次验证了转向剂对裂缝延伸的控制机理，确定了转向剂的适用浓度及控缝能力。实验表明，转向剂可以增加隔层应力3～4MPa左右。在此基础上研究了控制裂缝高度施工方案的设计方法，并利用全三维软件结合垂向应力剖面对控缝技术进行了优化。现场推广应用30井次，取得了较好的控缝效果。     

基于OpenGL的包装纸盒设计的三维实现

提出了基于OpenGL技术的一种由面模型构造三维盒体的方法,以多边形组成一个面、以面为基本单元构造纸盒,并将其应用于三维包装纸盒设计系统的开发中,该系统不仅实现了纸盒结构的二维平面设计,而且能够仿真三维盒型,并采用贴图技术看到装潢设计的立体效果。     

心电地图仪中工频干扰的一种滤除方法

在心电地图仪中记录到的体表心电信号往往由于电磁的影响而引进工频干扰．基于体表心电信号中工频干扰的特点，作者提出了一种滤除工频干扰的方法，即就单独—胸导联信号通过提高频谱的分辨率来估计工频干扰的频率；基于最小均方误差准则来估计各导联信号中工频干扰的幅度和相位。文中还给出了该算法的流程图和滤波性能分析。模拟结果表明了该算法的有效性。应用该算法对心电地图仪中的工频干扰进行对消，取得了满意的结果。     

Interoperability issues in heterogeneous network management

The presence of dissimilar network models and standards necessitates interoperability as a means of achieving ubiquitous connectivity and management. The primary focus of this paper is to identify interoperability issues, independent of the network management model, which form the basis for developing interworking paradigms. Network Management and Interoperability related concepts and terminology are introduced and a generic network management framework is presented. Based on the generic framework, interoperability issues for developing paradigms are identified systematically. Different paradigms for interoperability are described and compared. The techniques used by these paradigms in addressing the issues identified are discussed.
