In this study, flexible transparent hybrid films with low thermal expansion coefficient were prepared by combination of alumina fillers and polymerizable/non-polymerizable surface modifiers with carboxyl group. Four types of alumina fillers with different shape and size were used in this study, and could modify with surface modifiers containing carboxyl groups by electrostatic interaction and disperse homogeneously in resulting hybrid films regardless of the shape and size. So the hybrid films obtained showed high transmittance around 90%T, and it was considered, from transmission electron microscopic analysis, alumina fillers were dispersed at near original filler size, without aggregation. Moreover, thermal mechanical analysis cleared that the use of pillar or fiber type filler is more effective to reduce CTE compared with plate type fillers, especially CTE of hybrid film prepared with fiber type filler was drastically decreased to 17 ppm/K, while the influence by the difference of filler shape/size was not observed on tensile properties, surface hardness. By use of fiber type alumina filler and combination of polymerizable surface modifier and non-polymerizable surface modifier which seems to interact with matrix, for optimizing of the crosslink density, it was possible to reduce CTE, while the good mechanical properties was kept. Finally, hybrid film indicating low CTE value as 19 ppm/K, high flexibility (windable against 0.4 mm radius steel bar), and good tensile properties and surface hardness which were equal to or higher than those of matrix could prepared.  相似文献

Grass-root research activities to clarify fire safety performance of Japanese traditional wooden construction are introduced. The activities aim to resolve conflict between the restoration of historic buildings and the reduction of risk and hazard of urban fires. Among various activities, scope and results of fire resistance tests on traditional soil wall assemblies supported by timber frame are reported in detail. The test results indicate an encouraging prospect for the rational fire safety assessment of historic buildings and further development of fire-safe traditional constructions for the restoration of historic buildings and historic urban districts.  相似文献

Conclusion In the previous Sections, we have observed the following interesting properties of the optimum solution to this regional allocation problem.First, as indicated by assumptions (33) (34), and (35), public investment in one of the regions will be justified during some phase of the planning period, even if it is less productive than the private investment in the same region. The reason is that the central government can directly control the interregional flow of public fundsoutside the market mechanism and can concentrate its public investment on the region with greater growth potential.Second, as seen by equation (41), the value of (T–t *), the length of the second phase of planning, is independent from the length of planning horizonT provided thatT>T–t *. Then, the relative significance of the second phase will be less and less asT becomes larger and larger. This is one of the characteristics which have been observed in the dynamic programming problems with linear form. Therefore, ifT is very large, the public investment should be almost persistently concentrated to the second region, as far as there is no change in the values of relevant parameters.Third, the resultant optimum solution is very sensitive to the relative sizes of such parameters ass i, i , i (i=1, 2), and . Then, if there is some slight change in them by means of social overhead investment, for instance, which was analyzed earlier in this paper, we may observe a drastic change of the optimum solution. Such being the case, it may be possible for us to utilize some combination of those two kinds of public investment policy in order to attain theoptimum optimorum in the set of feasible growth paths.The author is a postdoctoral fellow with the University of Pennsylvania. A long-term field survey was conducted with six buildings in order to investigate how the occupants adapt to the indoor climate in office buildings in Japan. More than 5000 questionnaires and corresponding indoor temperatures were collected. Clothing adjustment was observed to be related to outdoor temperature and indoor temperature, as well as dress codes. No considerable differences were found on the thermal perceptions between two groups of buildings, which provided different levels of opportunity for controlling indoor climate. With both groups, the preferred SET* was always close to 26 °C. The comfort temperature was estimated from the results of clothing adjustment and the preferred SET*. The gradient of the comfort temperature to outdoor temperature was found to be between the adaptive model for centralized HVAC and for natural ventilation. It could be caused by that the major part of the occupants in the present study had more opportunity to control their thermal conditions than in the centralized HVAC buildings (i.e. operable windows, controllable HVAC or personal fans).  相似文献

A chirped pulse amplification laser with zigzag slab Nd:glass amplifiers dedicated to x-ray laser research is described. The laser provides a 1.6 ps duration pulse with approximately 7 J energy at a repetition rate of 0.1 Hz. In the power amplifier system, laser light is amplified in a two-step manner: The first step is image-relayed multipass amplification up to approximately 1 J with a 10 mm x 10 mm beam. The second step is double-pass amplification up to >10 J with a 10 mm x 90 mm beam. By using this laser system, the saturated amplification of the Ni-like Ag laser at a wavelength of 13.9 nm has been successfully demonstrated.  相似文献

Osteolysis caused by wear particles from polyethylene in the artificial hip joints is a serious issue. We have used photo-induced radical graft polymerization to graft 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) polymer onto the surface of cross-linked polyethylene (CLPE-g-MPC) in order to reduce friction and wear at the bearing surface of the joint. The physical and mechanical properties of CLPE and CLPE-g-MPC were not significantly different, expect that the friction coefficient of untreated CLPE cups was 0.0075, compared with 0.0009 for CLPE-g-MPC cup, an 88% reduction. After 3.0 × 106 cycles in the hip joint simulator test, we could not observe any wear of CLPE-g-MPC cups. We concluded that the advantage of photo-induced radical graft polymerization technique was that the grafted MPC polymer gave a high lubricity only on the surface and has no effect on the bulk properties of the CLPE substrate.  相似文献

In this study, we attempted to classify the methylotrophic yeasts based on diversities of alcohol oxidase (AOD), i.e. zymogram patterns and partial amino acid sequences. According to zymogram patterns for AOD, members of the methylotrophic yeasts separate into two major lineages, one group involving strains having a single AOD and the other group, including Pichia methanolica, Candida pignaliae and C. sonorensis, showing nine AOD isozymes. Based on partial amino acid sequences of AOD, the methylotrophic yeasts could be divided into five groups, and this classification agrees mostly with grouping based on 26S domain D1/D2 rDNA nucleotide sequences, except for some strains. Moreover, the strains having AOD isozymes constitute one group with P. trehalophila, P. glucozyma and Pichia sp. strain BZ159, although these strains are divided into two types, based on amino acid sequences of second AODs. On the other hand, these AOD isozymes consist of two subunits; the first subunits are induced not only by methanol but also by glycerol and pectin, although the second subunits are mainly induced by methanol. These data indicate that AOD isozymes and second AOD genes distribute widely in several methylotrophic yeasts in the natural environment, and second AOD genes may have evolved as methylotrophic genes that can adapt to the environmental conditions of higher methanol concentrations.  相似文献

This paper is focused on a voltage‐detection‐based shunt active filter for installation on a power distribution system. A main objective of the active filter is to achieve damping of harmonic propagation coming from series/parallel resonance between capacitors for power factor correction and line inductors in the distribution system. The active filter installed at the end terminal of a distribution feeder is controlled in such a way as to present infinite impedance to the external circuit for the fundamental frequency, and to exhibit low resistance for harmonic frequencies. As a result, the active filter acts as a damping resistor for the harmonic propagation, like a 50‐Ω terminator installed at the end of a signal transmission line.
