Numerical simulation of atomic layer deposition for thin deposit formation in a mesoporous substrate

ZnO deposition in porous γ-Al2O3 via atomic layer deposition (ALD) is the critical first step for the fabrication of zeolitic imidazolate framework membranes using the ligand-induced perm-selectivation process (Science, 361 (2018), 1008–1011). A detailed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model of the ALD reactor is developed using a finite-volume-based code and validated. It accounts for the transport processes within the feeding system and reaction chamber. The simulated precursor spatiotemporal profiles assuming no ALD reaction were used as boundary conditions in modeling diethylzinc reaction/diffusion in porous γ-Al2O3, the predictions of which agreed with experimental electron microscopy measurements. Further simulations confirmed that the present deposition flux is much less than the upper limit of flux, below which the decoupling of reactor/substrate is an accurate assumption. The modeling approach demonstrated here allows for the design of ALD processes for thin-film membrane formation including the synthesis of metal–organic framework membranes. 相似文献

Internet of Things (IoT) is a newly emerged paradigm where multiple embedded devices, known as things, are connected via the Internet to collect, share, and analyze data from the environment. In order to overcome the limited storage and processing capacity constraint of IoT devices, it is now possible to integrate them with cloud servers as large resource pools. Such integration, though bringing applicability of IoT in many domains, raises concerns regarding the authentication of these devices while establishing secure communications to cloud servers. Recently, Kumari et al proposed an authentication scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) for IoT and cloud servers and claimed that it satisfies all security requirements and is secure against various attacks. In this paper, we first prove that the scheme of Kumari et al is susceptible to various attacks, including the replay attack and stolen-verifier attack. We then propose a lightweight authentication protocol for secure communication of IoT embedded devices and cloud servers. The proposed scheme is proved to provide essential security requirements such as mutual authentication, device anonymity, and perfect forward secrecy and is robust against security attacks. We also formally verify the security of the proposed protocol using BAN logic and also the Scyther tool. We also evaluate the computation and communication costs of the proposed scheme and demonstrate that the proposed scheme incurs minimum computation and communication overhead, compared to related schemes, making it suitable for IoT environments with low processing and storage capacity. 相似文献

In this paper, all-optical tunable filters based on two-dimensional photonic crystals with very small dimensions for optical telecommunication of WDM technology are designed and simulated. The structure is made of air holes in a dielectric background. The tuning is done by changing resonant defect angle. The channels obtained for this structure will be set in wavelength range of 1550 nm. Created channels are at wavelengths of 1550, 1551, 1552, and 1565 (16 channels); the distance between adjacent channels is 1 nm. Design and simulation of this filter is done by RSOFT software. This paper presents an algorithm for synchronizing two different chaotic systems by using a combination of Unscented Kalman-Bucy Filter (UKBF) and sliding mode controller. It is assumed that the drive chaotic system is perturbed by white noise and shows stochastic chaotic behavior. In addition the output of the system does not contain the whole state variables of the system, and it is also affected by some independent white noise. By combining the UKBF and the sliding mode control, a synchronizing control law is proposed. Simulation results show the ability of the proposed method in synchronizing chaotic systems in presence of noise. 相似文献

Although diffusive electrical connections in neuronal networks are instantaneous, excitatory/inhibitory couplings via chemical synapses encompass a transmission time-delay. In this paper neural networks with instantaneous electrical couplings and time-delayed excitatory/inhibitory chemical connections are considered and scaling of the spike phase synchronization with the unified time-delay in the network is investigated. The findings revealed that in both excitatory and inhibitory chemical connections, the phase synchronization could be enhanced by introducing time-delay. The role of the variability of the neuronal external current in the phase synchronization is also investigated. As individual neuron models, Hindmarsh-Rose model is adopted and the network structure of the electrical and chemical connections is considered to be Watts-Strogatz and directed random networks, respectively. 相似文献

of knitted fabrics. The prediction accuracy of these models was evaluated using both the root mean square error (RMSE) and
mean relative percent error (MRPE). The results revealed the models ability to predict tactile sensory attributes based on

This paper suggests novel hybrid learning algorithm with stable learning laws for adaptive network based fuzzy inference system
(ANFIS) as a system identifier and studies the stability of this algorithm. The new hybrid learning algorithm is based on
particle swarm optimization (PSO) for training the antecedent part and gradient descent (GD) for training the conclusion part.
Lyapunov stability theory is used to study the stability of the proposed algorithm. This paper, studies the stability of PSO
as an optimizer in training the identifier, for the first time. Stable learning algorithms for the antecedent and consequent
parts of fuzzy rules are proposed. Some constraints are obtained and simulation results are given to validate the results.
It is shown that instability will not occur for the leaning rate and PSO factors in the presence of constraints. The learning
rate can be calculated on-line and will provide an adaptive learning rate for the ANFIS structure. This new learning scheme
