High density (Na1−xKx)NbO3 (x = 0.5, 0.6, and 0.7) ceramics were successfully prepared by spark-plasma-sintering (SPS) method. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the SPS samples were investigated and compared to that of hot-pressed samples. It is found that, the SPS-sintered (Na1−xKx)NbO3 samples show higher room temperature dielectric constant, higher coercive fields, lower remnant polarizations and lower electromechanical coefficients than that of the hot-pressed (Na1−xKx)NbO3 samples. The dielectric and piezoelectric property differences between the SPS-sintered and hot-pressed samples have been attributed to grain size effects.  相似文献

Experiments were conducted on simultaneous recovery of uranium and plutonium electrochemically into laboratory scale liquid cadmium cathodes (LCCs) at different U/Pu ratios in the salt phase, and the influence of the salt composition on the recovered amounts of uranium and plutonium, the morphologies of uranium and plutonium in the LCC, and the behavior of americium, which is present as a decay product of plutonium-241, were examined. As a result, it was shown that there is a threshold in the U/Pu ratio in the salt phase between 1/4.3 and 1/1.73 for the successful simultaneous recovery of uranium and plutonium up to 10 wt% in the LCC at high current efficiencies. In the LCC, uranium and plutonium existed in the forms of intermetallic compounds, (U, Pu)Cd6 and (U, Pu)Cd11, and also pure uranium metal. It was also revealed that americium associates with plutonium according to the separation factor during the LCC operation.  相似文献

Abstract— The broad bands at around 155 nm for GdAl3(BO3)4:Eu, at 184 nm for Ca4GdO(BO3)3:Eu, at 183 nm for Gd2SiO5:Eu, and at 170 nm for GdAlO3:Eu were observed. These bands were assigned to the charge‐transfer (CT) transition of Gd3+‐O2?. In the excitation spectrum of (Gd,Y)BO3:Eu, a broadened excitation band was observed in VUV region. It could be considered that this band was composed of two bands at about 160 and 166 nm. The preceding band was assigned to the BO3 group absorption. The later one at about 166 nm could be assigned to the CT transition of Gd3+‐O2?, according to the result of GdAl3(BO3)4:Eu, Ca4GdO(BO3)3:Eu, Gd2SiO5:Eu, and GdAlO3:Eu. The excitation spectra overlapped between the CT transition of Gd3+‐O2? and BO3 groups absorption. It caused the emission of Eu3+ to take place effectively in the trivalent europium‐doped (Gd,Y)BO3 host lattice under 147‐nm excitation.  相似文献

The effect of the addition of microbubbles on the formation of silver nanoparticles produced in an ultrasonic radiation-mediated process was investigated. The addition of microbubbles with an area-based median diameter of 26.0?µm and a bubble volume density of 0.18?cm3/L significantly increased the silver nanoparticle formation rate during the sonochemical process. The size distribution of the silver nanoparticles was largely unaffected by the addition of the microbubbles. The influence of changes in the microbubble volume density on the formation of the silver nanoparticles was also investigated; it was confirmed that the rate of formation of the silver nanoparticles increased moderately with increasing volume density. The gradient in absorption spectra was approximately 30 times larger for the case when microbubbles (median diameter: 28.3?µm) were added at 0.74?cm3/L, compared with the case without microbubbles. The results suggested that the microbubbles provided reaction sites similar to cavitation bubbles in the ultrasonic reaction.  相似文献

A novel method for grain refinement of martensite structures was proposed, in which transformation strain is accumulated by cyclic displacive forward and reverse transformations. This method can refine martensite structures in an Fe-18Ni alloy because a high density of austenite dislocations is introduced by a displacive reverse transformation in addition to an inheritance of dislocations in body-centered cubic martensite into austenite during cyclic transformation. The addition of a small amount of carbon accelerates structure refinement significantly, which results in the formation of ultra-fine-grained structures after ten cycles.

Peculiar magnetic domain walls produced in Heusler alloys, which have attracted renewed interest due to their potential application to actuators and spintronic devices, are studied here using electron holography. The observations reveal unexpectedly narrow magnetic domain walls, the width of which showed perfect agreement with that of the antiphase boundaries (APB, e.g., only 3 nm). While the results can be explained by the significant depression of ferromagnetism due to the local chemical disorder, the electron phase shift indicates that ferromagnetic correlation still remains in the APB region.  相似文献

(The microstructural refinement of cobalt-based alloy (Stellite No. 6) by laser cladding and friction stir processing (FSP) was studied. A nanometer-sized microstructure consisting of fine carbide (particle size: 100–200 nm) and a grain (grain size: 150–250 nm) was successfully fabricated by the FSP on the laser clad cobalt-based alloy. The nanostructured cobalt-based alloy (Stellite No. 6) had an extremely high hardness of about 750 HV.  相似文献

The mere exposure effect refers to the phenomenon where previous exposures to stimuli increase participants’ subsequent affective preference for those stimuli. This study explored the effect of selective attention on the mere exposure effect. The experiments manipulated the to-be-attended drawings in the exposure period (either red or green polygons in Experiments 1 and 2; both red and green polygons in Experiments 3 and 4) and black to-be-evaluated drawings in the affective judgment period (morphologically identical to the red or green polygons in Experiments 1 and 4; morphologically identical to the composite drawings in Experiments 2 and 3). The results showed a significant mere exposure effect only for the target shapes involved in attentional selection, even when the participants could recognize the nontarget shapes.
