In this study, we explored how stereoscopic depth affects performance and user experience in a mobile device with an autostereoscopic touch display. Participants conducted a visual search task with an image gallery application on three layouts with different depth ranges. The task completion times were recorded, and the participants were asked to rate their experiences. The results revealed that the image search times were facilitated by a mild depth effect and that too great a depth slowed search times and decreased user-experience ratings. 相似文献

Procedural tree models have been popular in computer graphics for their ability to generate a variety of output trees from a set of input parameters and to simulate plant interaction with the environment for a realistic placement of trees in virtual scenes. However, defining such models and their parameters is a difficult task. We propose an inverse modelling approach for stochastic trees that takes polygonal tree models as input and estimates the parameters of a procedural model so that it produces trees similar to the input. Our framework is based on a novel parametric model for tree generation and uses Monte Carlo Markov Chains to find the optimal set of parameters. We demonstrate our approach on a variety of input models obtained from different sources, such as interactive modelling systems, reconstructed scans of real trees and developmental models. 相似文献

Modelling trees according to desired shapes is important for many applications. Despite numerous methods having been proposed in tree modelling, it is still a non‐trivial task and challenging. In this paper, we present a new variational computing approach for generating realistic trees in specific shapes. Instead of directly modelling trees from symbolic rules, we formulate the tree modelling as an optimization process, in which a variational cost function is iteratively minimized. This cost function measures the difference between the guidance shape and the target tree crown. In addition, to faithfully capture the branch structure of trees, several botanical factors, including the minimum total branches volume and spatial branches patterns, are considered in the optimization to guide the tree modelling process. Smart cards are portable integrated devices that store and process data. Speed, security and portability properties enable smart cards to have a widespread usage in various fields including telecommunication, transportation and the credit card industry. However, the development of smart card applications is a difficult task due to hardware and software constraints. The necessity of the knowledge of both a very low-level communication protocol and a specific hardware causes smart card software development to be a big challenge for the developers. Written codes tend to be error-prone and hard to debug because of the limited memory resources. Hence, in this study, we introduce a model driven architecture which aims to facilitate smart card software development by both providing an easy design of smart card systems and automatic generation of the required smart card software from the system models. Differentiating from the previous work, the study in here contributes to the field by both providing various smart card metamodels in different abstraction layers and defines model-to-model transformations between the instances of these metamodels in order to support the realization of the same system on different smart card platforms. Applicability of the proposed methodology is shown for rapid and efficient application development in two major smart card frameworks: Java Card and ZeitControl Basic Card. Lessons learned during the industrial usage of the architecture are also reported in the paper. Finally, we discuss how the components of the architecture can be integrated in order to provide a domain-specific language for smart card software. 相似文献

针对水印信息嵌入量小、鲁棒性弱、遮蔽性差的问题,提出一种基于图像纹理复杂度的小波域人类视觉系统的水印算法。该算法将载体图像进行分块,计算每块的图像熵,并根据图像熵对载体图像的纹理特征区域进行分类,不同纹理特征水印的嵌入量不同。利用Logistic映射对水印信号进行置乱变换,将水印信号嵌入到二层离散小波变换的低频系数中,并利用小波域人类视觉模型控制水印的嵌入强度。在提取水印时,通过水印误码率和峰值信噪比评价水印质量。实验结果表明,该算法能抵抗噪声干扰、裁剪和密钥攻击,水印图像具有较强的鲁棒性和良好的遮蔽性。 相似文献

为降低视觉传感网络中图像压缩感知算法的计算复杂度,提出一种基于二次规划的网络图像恢复算法。该算法将压缩感知重构中的欠定线性方程组求解问题,转化为有界约束二次规划问题,在此基础上结合阿米霍步长准则,设计一种压缩感知图像恢复算法,通过求解二次规划问题对网络图像数据进行恢复。理论分析和仿真结果表明,与传统图像压缩感知算法相比,该算法可减少约1/3的图像数据恢复运算时间,且图像重构质量提高3 dB~6 dB,有效提高了视觉传感器网络图像恢复算法的实时性。 相似文献

Three dimensional models of shaft were completed on CATIA Part Design module with the Chinese national standard (GB) process structures such as chamfers, threads and tool withdrawal grooves, center holes, flat/woodruff/gib head taper keyseats, grinding undercuts, straight-sidedsplines, circlip slots and collars. The modeling steps are arranged in dialog menu interface by VB 6.0, the shaft creator, that permits users input geometric feature based parameters explicitly, and the standardized processdata are reorganized in Excel files that can be invoked correspondingly in the modeling procedure.
