Image Independent Driving Power Reduction for High Frame Rate LCD Televisions

In this letter, the constant driving power reduction ratio has been achieved for column drivers regardless of the input image by incorporating a new static power reduction scheme into the previous dynamic power reduction method. The measured power reduction ratio is around 50% for a 120 Hz liquid crystal display panel in such cases of still input video and fallback.     

Precedence constrained TSP arising in printed circuit board assembly

Component placement sequencing is a challenging problem that arises in automated assembly of printed circuit boards. While for some placement machines all placement sequences are acceptable, in other cases some sequences are not allowed because of the shape of the placement head. In such cases, while the head moves down to perform a placement, it might damage a previously placed component, and the problem of determining a minimum cost and at the same time acceptable sequence leads to a Precedence Constrained Travelling Salesman Problem formulation. In this study, a solution procedure to such a formulation is developed and its implementation in a real PCB assembly environment is discussed.

图形点阵LCD在手提式多元素X荧光仪中的应用

基于T6963C的图形点阵液晶显示器,功能低、与微机适配接口电路简单、显示方式灵活。介绍了该显示器在电致冷半导体探头手提式多元素X荧光仪应用中,汉字、下接菜单、能谱曲线等显示的编程技巧,及其与嵌入式PC104工控机的实用接口电路。     

LED‐backlight feedback control system with integrated amorphous‐silicon color sensor on an LCD panel

Abstract— Thin‐film‐transistor liquid‐crystal displays (TFT‐LCDs) have the largest market share of all digital flat‐panel displays. An LCD backlighting system employing a three‐color red‐green‐blue light‐emitting diode (RGB‐LED) array is very attractive, considering its wide color gamut, tunable white point, high dimming ratio, long lifetime, and environmental compatibility. But the high‐intensity LED has problems with thermal stability and degradation of brightness over time. Color and white luminance levels are not stable over a wide range of temperature due to inherent long‐term aging characteristics. In order to minimize color point and brightness differences over time, optical feedback control is the key technology for any LED‐backlight system. In this paper, the feasibility of an optical color‐sensing feedback system for an LED backlight by integrating the amorphous‐silicon (a‐Si) color sensor onto the LCD panel will be presented. To minimize the photoconductivity degradation of a‐Si, a new laser exposure treatment has been applied. The integrated color‐sensor optical‐feedback‐controlled LED‐backlight system minimized the color variation to less than 0.008 Δu'v' (CIE1976) compared to 0.025 for an open‐loop system over the temperature range of 42–76°C.     

LTPS circuit integration for system‐on‐glass LCDs

Abstract— A 3.5‐in. QVGA‐formatted driving‐circuit fully integrated LCD has been developed using low‐temperature poly‐Si (LTPS) technology. This display module, in which no external ICs are required, integrates all the driving circuits for a six‐bit RGB digital interface with an LTPS device called a “FASt LDD TFT” and achieves a high‐quality image, narrow frame width, and low power consumption. The LTPS process, device, and circuit technologies developed for system‐on‐glass LCD discussed. The development phase of LTPS circuit integration for system‐on‐glass LCDs is also reviewed.     

基于GPS无线定位/GSM短信收发的空间信息查询系统

空间信息查询系统集GPS、GIS和GSM通信于一体,实现移动用户定位和空间信息查询等系统功能。本文主要侧重于介绍移动用户终端软、硬件方面的功能实现。硬件方面,利用单片机完成系统控制,通过串口扩展芯片连接GPS全球定位、GSM移动通信,以及LCD汉显三个模块。软件方面主要实现地理信息的实时处理,信息的人性化显示以及与短信服务中心的通信。     

基于SPCE061A的ACM12864J液晶显示模块应用设计

介绍了ACM12864J液晶显示模块的特性与功能，提出ACMl2864J与SPCE061A微控制器的硬件接口设计，以及在此设计基础之上实现字符显示、汉字显示、图形与曲线显示的方法与编程技巧。
