In this work, the hydrothermally-synthesized sodium niobate nanowires were used to decompose Rhodamine B dye solution through the piezo-catalytic effect. With the sodium niobate catalyst, a high piezo-catalytic degradation ratio of ~80% was achieved under the excitation of vibration for the Rhodamine B dye solution (~5?mg/l). These active species in the catalytic process, hydroxyl radicals and superoxide radicals with the strong oxidation ability, were also observed, which confirmed the key role of piezoelectric effect for piezo-catalysis. The piezo-catalysis of sodium niobate nanowires provides a high-efficiency and reusable tool in application in depredating the dye wastewater.  相似文献

Perovskite ferroelectrics possess the fascinating piezoelectric properties near a morphotropic phase boundary, attributing to a low energy barrier that the results in structural instability and easy polarization rotation. In this work, a new lead-free system of (1-x)BaTiO3-xCaHfO3 was designed, and characterized by a coexistence of ferroelectric rhombohedral-orthorhombic-tetragonal (R-O-T) phases. With the increase amount of CaHfO3 (x), a stable coexistence region of three ferroelectric phases (R-O-T) exists at 0.06  x  0.08. Both large piezoelectric coefficient (d33~400 pC/N), inverse piezoelectric coefficient (d33*~547 pm/V) and planar electromechanical coupling factor (kp~58.2%) can be achieved for the composition with x = 0.08 near the coexistence of three ferroelectric phases. Our results show that the materials with the composition located at a region where the three ferroelectric R-O-T phases coexist would have the lowest energy barrier and thus greatly promote the polarization rotation, resulting in a strong piezoelectric response.  相似文献

Large transduction coefficient (d33×g33) is difficult to obtain in piezoelectric ceramics because these two parameters show opposite trends with compositional modifications. Herein, the Pb(Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3 ceramic powders were calcinated under different temperatures (A:830 °C, B:860 °C, and C:890 °C), and then mixed together according to different weight ratios (1A:1B:1C, 1A:2B:1C, 1A:2B:3C and 3A:2B:1C) for ceramics preparation. Both d33 and g33 are improved successfully, and the transduction coefficient with the weight ratio of 1A:2B:3C reaches up to 17,500 × 10−15 m2/N, which is 60 % higher than that with the powders calcinated under 830 °C, and at least twice those of commercial PZT-4, PZT-5A and PZT-8 ceramics. The improved transduction coefficient is owing to the enhanced piezoelectric constant and spontaneous polarization resulted from the increased grain size, relative density and the fraction of tetragonal phase. These results indicate that this is a simple but effective way to tailor the transduction coefficient in piezoelectric ceramics.  相似文献

 An efficient finite element model is presented for the static and dynamic piezothermoelastic analysis and control of FGM plates under temperature gradient environments using integrated piezoelectric sensor/actuator layers. The properties of an FGM plate are functionally graded in the thickness direction according to a volume fraction power law distribution. A constant displacement-cum-velocity feedback control algorithm that couples the direct and inverse piezoelectric effects is applied to provide active feedback control of the integrated FGM plate in a closed loop system. Numerical results for the static and dynamic control are presented for the FGM plate, which consists of zirconia and aluminum. The effects of the constituent volume fractions and the influence of feedback control gain on the static and dynamic responses of the FGM plates are examined. This paper presents vibration control of a flexible beam structure using a hybrid mount which consists of elastic rubber and piezoelectric stack actuator. After identifying stiffness and damping properties of the rubber and piezoelectric elements, a mechanical model of the hybrid mount is established. The mount model is then incorporated with the beam structure, and the governing equation of motion is obtained in a state space. A sliding mode controller is designed in order to actively attenuate the vibration of the beam structure subjected to high-frequency and small magnitude excitations. The controller is experimentally realized and measured control responses such as acceleration of the beam structure and force transmission through the hybrid mount are evaluated and presented in both frequency and time domains.  相似文献

A numerical simulation model for random large amplitude vibration control of composite plate using piezoelectric material is presented. The H control design is employed to suppress the large amplitude vibrations of composites plates under random loading. The numerical simulation model is developed and based on the finite element method. The finite element governing equation includes fully coupled structural and electrical nodal degrees of freedom, and consider the von Karman large amplitude vibration. The modal reduction method using the structural modes is adopted to reduce the finite element equations into a set of modal equations with fewer degrees of freedom. The modal equations are then employed for controller design and time domain simulation. In the simulations without control, the value of the linear mode to the nonlinear deflection is quantified; and the minimum number of linear modes needed for accurate model is obtained. In the simulations with control, it is shown that the truncated modes, which are neglected in the control design, deteriorate the controller performance. Generally, the vibration reduction level is not monotonically increasing with the size of the piezoelectric actuator. The optimal piezoelectric actuator size depends on the excitation level. For higher excitation level, optimal actuator size is larger. The H controller based on the linear finite element formulation gives better vibration reduction for small amplitude vibration, but it still gives reasonable performance for large amplitude vibration provided that the piezoelectric actuator is big and powerful enough.  相似文献

An experimental bimorph piezoelectric element (PZT) actuator for small pipe robot is developed. The robot can move in φ20 mm pipe, and can carry a CCD camera for detecting cracks or fine holes on inner surface of pipe. The velocity of the robot can reach 17~22 mm/s for vertical pipe up/down, respectively. Moving principle and its performance characteristics are presented.  相似文献
