腐蚀算法在重建一类特殊管道中的应用

针对一类特殊而不能直接对其观察的管道（如动物的血管），为了准确了解其内部特征和形态，借助计算机给出了一种用腐蚀算法来重建管道原形的方法。这种方法简单易行，而且精确度高。     

Bubble-point pressures and liquid densities of binary R-125 + R-143a System

Bubble-point pressures and saturated-liquid densities of the binary R-135 (pentafuoroethane) + R- 143a ( 1, 1, 1-trifluoroethane) system have been measured for several compositions at temperatures from 280 to 330 K by means of a magnetic densimeter coupled with a variable-volume cell mounted with a metallic bellows. The experimental uncertainties of the temperature, pressure. and density measurements and the composition determination were estimated to be within ±15 mK, ±13 k Pa, ±0.2%, and ±0.1 wt%, respectively. The purities of the samples used throughout the measurements are 99.98 wt% for R-125 and 99.0 mol % for R- 143a. Based on the present data, the thermodynamic behavior of the vapor-liquid equilibria of this binary refrigerant mixture has been evaluated by using the Peng-Robinson equation for the bubble-point pressures, and the modified Hankinson-Brobst-Thomson equation for the saturated-liquid densities. A fuzzy diagnosis approach using dynamic fault trees

By incorporating digraph models, fault trees and fuzzy inference mechanisms in a unified framework, a novel approach for fault diagnosis is developed in this work. To relieve the on-line computation load, the fault origins considered in diagnosis are limited to the basic events in the cut sets of a given fault tree. The symptom occurrence order associated with each root cause is derived from system digraph with the qualitative simulation techniques. The implied candidate patterns are enumerated according to two proposed theorems and then encoded in the inference system with IF-THEN rules. The simulation results show that the proposed approach is not only feasible but also capable of identifying the most likely cause(s) of a hazardous event at the earliest possible time.     

Estimation of Thermodynamic Properties from Binary Phase Diagram

The general relationship between binary phase diagrams and the thermodynamic properties was system-atically derived without any assumption.A procedure was presented to estimate the thermodynamic proper-ties from the binary phase diagrams.     

Forced convection subcooled boiling of binary mixtures

A mode based on an additive mechanism of heat transfer is proposed for forced convection subcooled boiling of binary mixtures. The contributing modes of heat transfer are: (i) the heat transferred as latent heat by the rising bubbles, (ii) the heat transferred as the heat contained in the superheated thermal layer that is removed from the surface in the wake of the rising bubbles and (iii) the single phase forced convection heat transfer from the heating surface not influenced by the bubbles. Experimental data from the literature on binary systems show good agreement with the model, validating the postulated mechanism.     

Diffusion Coefficient of a Binary Liquid System

A generalized diffusion coefficient correlation for a binary system of liquids has been developed to represent the data for a wide range of temperatures. Detailed analysis shows that the proposed correlation fits the experimental measurements of diffusivity with the corresponding calculated values with an acceptable percentage error.
