In the mobile Stream Control Transmission Protocol (mSCTP) for vertical handover, a mobile user may suffer from performance degradation due to the problems of packet reordering and retransmission timeout and due to the packet loss during handover. To solve these problems, we propose a new scheme of handover retransmission for mSCTP handover, in which the correspondent node retransmits the outstanding data packets to the mobile node over the new primary path. From simulation results, it is shown that the proposed scheme can avoid the packet reordering and retransmission timeout problems during handover. Moreover, we can see that the proposed scheme can significantly improve throughput of mSCTP handover, compared with the existing schemes. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

More and more mobile devices such as smartphones are being used with IEEE 802.11 wireless LANs (WLANs or Wi-Fi). However, mobile users are still experiencing poor service quality on the move due to the large handoff delay and packet loss problem. In order to reduce the delay, a new handoff scheme using the geomagnetic sensor embedded in mobile devices is proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme predicts the movement direction of a Mobile Station (MS) from the currently associated Access Point (AP) and performs active scanning with a reduced number of channels. In terms of the packet loss, a lightweight retransmission protocol is also proposed to minimize lost packets on Wi-Fi without producing a lot of acknowledgement packets. The proposed approaches are implemented on Android smartphones, and their performance is evaluated in a real indoor WLAN environment. The evaluation results demonstrate that the proposed schemes maintain seamless quality for real-time video even in an environment with frequent handoffs. Packet duplication (PD) with dual connectivity (DC) was newly introduced in the 5G New Radio (NR) specifications to meet the stringent ultra reliable low latency communication (URLLC) requirements. PD technology uses duplicated packets in the packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer that are transmitted via two different access nodes (ANs) to the user equipment (UE) in order to enhance the reliability performance. However, PD can result in unnecessary retransmissions in the lower layers since the hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) operation is unaware of the transmission success achieved through the alternate DC link to the UE. To overcome this issue, in this paper, a novel duplication-aware retransmission optimization (DRO) scheme is proposed to reduce the resource usage induced by unnecessary HARQ retransmissions. The proposed DRO scheme can minimize the average channel use while satisfying the URLLC requirements. The proposed DRO scheme derives the optimal HARQ retransmission attempts for different ANs by solving a nonlinear integer programming (NLIP) problem. The performance of the proposed DRO scheme was evaluated using MATLAB simulation and is compared to the existing 5G HARQ support schemes. The simulations results show that the proposed DRO scheme can provide a 14.71% and 15.11% reduced average channel use gain compared to the selective data duplication upon failure (SDUF) scheme and latency-aware dynamic multi-connectivity algorithm (LADMA) scheme, respectively, which are the existing 5G PD schemes that use HARQ. 相似文献

无线广播网络传输过程中,目的节点反馈信息丢失或部分丢失导致发送节点不能了解目的节点的真实接收状态.为提高不完美反馈下无线网络的重传效率,本文提出中继协作无线网络中不完美反馈下基于网络编码的重传方案.本方案基于部分可观察马尔科夫决策过程对不完美反馈下的重传过程进行建模.发送节点根据系统观测状态和最大置信度更新系统估计状态,根据数据包发送顺序,优先选择最早丢失且能够恢复最多丢包的编码包重传.目的节点缓存不可解编码包以提升编解码机会.重传过程中源节点关注目的节点请求包需求,相同情况优先选择传输可靠性较高的中继节点,以提升传输有效性.仿真结果表明,在不完美反馈下相对于传统方案,本方案可有效提高重传效率. 相似文献

基于延时转发的干扰体制,设计了一种新的运用于弹道导弹自由段的有源假目标干扰方法,能够生成运动轨迹近似真实导弹的假目标。首先,建立了弹道导弹自由段运动模型,构建虚拟弹道平面,采用透视投影的方法,通过求解二次锥面与平面交线的几何问题生成逼真的假目标轨道;其次,推导了假目标弹道的时延函数,讨论了实际情况下数字射频存储器(DRFM)在转发信号时其步进间隔与步进长度的约束条件,在理想时延函数非线性的情况下,对DRFM 阶梯状时延函数进行了设计;最后,通过情景模拟与仿真试验论证了该设计的有效性。 相似文献

面向通用对象的变电站事件(GOOSE)模型是IEC 61850对数字化变电站的重要贡献,其出发点是变电站自动化功能的分布式实现。通过分析VxWorks操作系统内核的特点,提出了基于VxWorks的IEC 61850 GOOSE发布的实现方案。GOOSE发布任务基于VxWorks事件组,采用事件驱动方式处理GOOSE初始发送、变化发送、快速重发和周期重发。给出了各GOOSE发送控制块共享的高精度定时器的使能和关闭方法。分析了VxWorks网络重发的实现原理,提出了新添加GOOSE协议的重发送实现方式。 相似文献

从系统吞吐量、用户公平性等方面分析研究了HSDPA系统中支持非实时业务的三种经典分组调度算法RR、Max C/I和PF。针对PF算法重传时延过长问题,提出了一种结合混合自动请求重传HARQ的增强分组调度算法。该算法通过提高重传分组的优先级降低重传时延,有效地避免系统资源的浪费。MATLAB仿真结果表明,该算法在降低单用户重传时延的同时,仍能保证用户间的公平性和系统的吞吐量。 相似文献
