Diffusion processes taking place at the NiTi/Si, NiTi/SiO2 and NiTi/Si3N4 interfaces under annealing are studied in order to understand the adherence properties of these systems after annealing. Secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) assisted by argon etching and electron-induced X-ray emission spectroscopy (EXES) are combined in order to analyse at a nanometric scale the interfaces before and after annealing. Considerable differences between diffusion processes in NiTi/Si and NiTi/SiO2 are observed and can explain the difference between adherence properties of these systems after annealing. Among the three studied systems, NiTi/Si3N4 is shown to be the most suited for low voltage microactuation applications. 相似文献

This study aims to address an issue to a subject that is still less present in literature: the adherence of polypyrrole (PPy) films on bioinert substrate. The poly(dopamine) (PDA) assisted deposition of PPy film on titanium substrate was performed in two steps. The chemical self-polymerization of dopamine was performed as a preliminary step from dopamine in Tris buffer solution on titanium substrate. Then, the resulted poly(dopamine) layer consisting of anchors with strong interactions with Ti surface was a new suitable substrate for polypyrrole film electrochemical deposition. The new PDA–PPy films were characterized in terms of interest properties for the desired biomedical applications: adherence, electrochemical stability of PDA–PPy film, wettability, topography, morphology and antibacterial effect. The poly(dopamine) assisted deposition of PPy film has been shown to be a facile and efficient route to improve the adhesion of PPy film on titanium maintaining or improving the properties of polymeric film. 相似文献

We manufactured PVA-derived hydrogels wth some crosslinkers by using a foam generation technique. Amino acids gels showed
remarkably higher swelling ratios, probably because of the highly crosslinked network along with hydrogen bonds. Boric acid
and starch would catalyze dehydration while structuring to result in much lower water content and accordingly high gel content,
leading to less elastic, hard gels. Bulky materials such as ascorbic acid or starch produced, in general, large pores, and
also nicotinamide, highly hydrophobic, was likely to enlarge its pore size, thus leading to reduced swelling. Hydrophilic
(or hydrophobic), functional groups which are involved in the reaction or physical linkage, and bulkiness of crosslinkers
were found to be more critical to the crosslinking structure and its density than molecular weights that seemed to be closely
related to pore sizes. The average sizes of pores were 20 μm for methionine, 10–15 μm for citric acid, 50–70 μm for L-ascorbic
acid, 30–40 μm for nicotinamide, and 70–80 μm for starch. Also, amino acid and glucose gels were more elastic than the others.
The elasticity of a gel was reasonably correlated with its water content or swelling ratio. On the other hand, L-ascorbic
acid among glucose, methionine, citric acid and vitamins, imparted not only the most favorable physical properties and the
greatest cell density but also the highest PAH degradation on its derivative gels. The higher biomass ensured the higher degradation
rate. The maximum cell density was 0.267 mg/g-hydrogel and degradation rates and efficiencies ranged 0.013–0.007 mM/mg/day

The aim of this investigation was to analyze the adherence between two layers of bituminous mixture when a geosynthetic material is placed between them. A new monotonic test procedure was developed that enables the evaluation of the influence of the binder type and content, and the typology of the geosynthetic material used. The validity of the procedure was demonstrated using dynamic tests. The results confirmed that highest adherence between layers is obtained through geogrids, with optimal residual binder content of 0.30 kg/m2. In contrast, the tests with geotextiles were found to be less sensitive to binder content, with lower shear resistance for higher contents of binder. 相似文献

采用扫描电子显微镜、电子探针等分析无铅建筑铝搪瓷界面的显微结构和元素分布,并结合铝搪瓷的密着强度,探讨了无铅建筑铝搪瓷的密着机理。结果表明,密着性能优良的无铅建筑铝搪瓷面存在铝元素与瓷釉元素相互扩散的中间过渡层;中间过渡层与金属铝的结合主要通过金属键来实现,中间过渡层与瓷釉层的结合主要是通过离子键和共价键来实现。 相似文献
