The polymerization of ?‐caprolactam between the interlamellar spaces of the [TEACOOH]–montmorillonite intercalations complex was attempted using Na–montmorillonite and 10‐carboxy‐n‐decyltriethylammonium bromide to achieve [TEACOOH]–polycaprolactam–montmorillonite, in which montmorillonite (inorganic polymer) is chemically bonded with the polycaprolactam (organic polymer). The results of X‐ray and IR analysis for the samples obtained after polymerization showed that the polymerization reaction has been successfully accomplished. For the purpose of studying the polymeric reaction product more precisely, we have isolated the polymerized product from the silicate layers and analyzed it with X‐ray diffractometer and IR spectrometer. Comparison of the results of X‐ray and IR analysis between the isolated polymer and the polymer that was synthesized by the reaction of ?‐caprolactam only with the organic cation without montmorillonite showed that both obtained polymers are the same compounds. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Polypropylene (PP) nanocomposites with three different clay loadings were prepared by solution mixing technique. The solution‐mixed nanocomposites were extruded to fibers using a single screw extruder. The PP nanocomposite fibers obtained were uniformly dyed with three distinct disperse dyes at different levels of shade. The enhanced dyeability of PP nanocomposite fibers was characterized by spectrophotometric measurements. Satisfactory wash, light and crock fastness results were also achieved. 采用熔融挤出法制备了淀粉/聚乙烯醇/蒙脱土三元复合材料。通过对力学测试、DSC、SEM、维卡软化点的分析,研究了PVA和酸酐的含量对材料的力学性能、热性能、吸水率的影响,并讨论了蒙脱土的加入对体系性能的影响。研究发现,适量的顺丁烯二酸酐能够降低淀粉分子链间的氢键作用,并促使其晶区的破坏,从而改善淀粉的加工性能、力学性能以及耐水性,当加入2.5%顺丁烯二酸酐时,材料的拉伸强度提高了60.54%;随着PVA含量的增加,体系力学性能增强,吸水率降低。蒙脱土的加入改善了其加工性能,并有效地提高了材料的力学性能、耐水性以及热稳定性。SEM显示,复合材料各组分之间的相容性较好,淀粉得到良好的塑化。 相似文献

通过原位聚合制备了聚丙烯酸丁酯 (PBA )改性蒙脱土 (MMT ) ,与聚丙烯 (PP)熔融复合制成PP/MMT纳米复合材料 ,系统地研究了复合材料的熔融、结晶行为和力学性能。结果表明 :随着处理MMT的BA用量的增加 ,PP/MMT纳米复合材料中PP相的结晶度、熔点和结晶温度明显提高 ,结晶速度加快 ;复合材料的拉伸强度变化不大 ,但拉伸模量和冲击强度有显著提高。当BA/OMMT质量比为 1/ 12左右时 ,复合材料的韧性趋于平衡值 ,而拉伸模量出现最大值 相似文献

Nanocomposites of epoxy resin with montmorillonite clay were synthesized by swelling of different proportions of the clay in a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol‐A followed by in situ polymerization with aromatic diamine as a curing agent. The montmorillonite was modified with octadecylamine and made organophilic. The organoclay was found to be intercalated easily by incorporation of the epoxy precursor and the clay galleries were simultaneously expanded. However, Na‐montmorillonite clay could not be intercalated during the mixing or through the curing process. Curing temperature was found to provide a balance between the reaction rate of the epoxy precursor and the diffusion rate of the curing agent into the clay galleries. The cure kinetics were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The exfoliation behavior of the organoclay system was investigated by X‐ray diffraction. Thermogravimetric analysis was used to determine the thermal stability, which was correlated with the ionic exchange between the organic species and the silicate layers. 研究了10个蒙脱石样品在蒸馏水中水化性能——自由膨润量的差异。样品来自不同产地或不同矿层,具有不同的类质同象置换。研究前对样品进行了提纯和钠化处理。实验结果表明,蒙脱石膨润性与其类质同象置换情况有密切的关系,膨润量与由蒙脱石结构成分计算得到的品格常数6有明显的相关性。讨论了膨润量差异的原因。 相似文献
