In this work, the phase formation is compared for Ni- and Co-silicidation with and without Ti cap. In addition, the electrical performance of Ni-silicidation with and without Ti-cap is investigated and compared to the performance of a Co-silicidation process with a Ti cap that has the same Si consumption. This paper presents a novel approach — WireWarping for computing a flattened planar piece with length-preserved feature curves from a 3D piecewise linear surface patch. The property of length-preservation on feature curves is very important to industrial applications for controlling the shape and dimension of products fabricated from planar pieces. WireWarping simulates warping a given 3D surface patch onto plane with the feature curves as tendon wires to preserve the length of their edges. During warping, the surface-angle variations between edges on wires are minimized so that the shape of a planar piece is similar to its corresponding 3D patch. Two schemes — the progressive warping and the global warping schemes are developed, where the progressive scheme is flexible for local shape control and the global scheme gives good performance on highly distorted patches. Experimental results show that WireWarping can successfully flatten surface patches into planar pieces while preserving the length of edges on feature curves.  相似文献

This paper presents an innovative experimental procedure, based on Nakazima test, for evaluating the formability limits in the hot stamping of high strength steel (HSS) which is capable of generating formability data suitable for an FE modelling of the process. The approach is based on two complementary tests which are aimed at evaluating the actual phase transformation kinetics for the material under deformation conditions and the combinations of microstructure, temperature and straining path that lead to localized necking or fracture.  相似文献

Extrinsic lattice matched InAlAs/InGaAs/InP HEMT model, incorporating the parasitic source and drain resistance, for very high frequency application is developed. The current voltage characteristics and the transconductance have been evaluated and the influence of carrier concentration dependent mobility on frequency has also been analyzed. To predict accurately the forming limit in sheet metal forming, the combination of FE simulation with tension tests is adopted in this paper to determine the material constants p and C in a ductile fracture criterion (DFC), which is advanced by the author. Forming limits of bore-expanding, hemispherical punch bulging and deep drawing (cylindrical, square-cup parts) are predicted by means of the DFC. Comparison of the results predicted by the DFC with experimental values shows that the precision of forming limit predicted by material constants obtained by the combination method is more accurate than that predicted by material constants obtained by the tension method, and that the critical punch stoke and the fracture initiation position in forming processes above mentioned are predicted accurately by the DFC.  相似文献

Adaptive systems with piezoelectric components offer significant opportunities for the active control of dynamic behaviour. Vibration and acoustics control as well as structural health monitoring are also possible. However ineffective production technologies prevent industrial applications. The authors are therefore proposing the integration of piezo-modules inside a double-layer sheet. The use of semi-cured adhesive avoids shear-forces being transferred to the piezo-modules during forming. After forming the adhesive will cure and the transfer of piezoelectric strain to the sheet is made possible. A detailed finite-element-model incorporating the electro-mechanical characteristics of the piezo-modules has been developed. The simulation results were validated experimentally.  相似文献
