Porcelain stoneware tile is the best class of ceramic tiles regarding technical performance. Low porosity and high glass content are some of its highlighted characteristics. The manufacturing cost is highly dependent on the feldspar content and the processing flow rate. Certain technical bottlenecks in the manufacturing steps, such as milling, forming, and firing, are intrinsically associated with limitations in the processing properties, such as the dry strength, bulk density, and pyroplastic deformation. In this work, improvements in these properties were achieved using high-energy milling (HEM) after conventional milling (CM). This study was carried out on a pilot industrial scale in the milling stage. Six experimental runs were evaluated. Slurries were spray-dried. The powders were humidified with 6.5% moisture. Specimens were conformed under a specific pressure of 45 MPa. The firing was performed using temperature ranging from 1150 to 1230°C. The use of HEM, in comparison to traditional milling for the similar particle-size distributions, has increased the dry density, +0.2 g.cm−3, dry bending strength, +1.0 MPa, and decreased the pyroplastic deformation index, −1.10−5 cm−1. These results allow an estimated thickness reduction of 10%.  相似文献

本研究分析了钢铁企业焦化和烧结两个重点工序中烟气污染物排放现状和钢铁行业当前的环保政策。对焦化及烧结烟气污染物的排放特征进行了分析,并通过对比燃煤电厂烟气特点,提出可以综合电厂烟气治理模式和自身特点改进的技术路线。结合某大型国有钢铁企业的脱硫脱硝装备对其环保现状进行了分析。针对焦化和烧结工序的典型污染物硫、硝、尘现有的源头减排、过程控制及末端处理技术,分析其优缺点。进而提出了3条可实现烟气污染物超低排放的技术路线,即半干法脱硫耦合选择性催化还原脱硝、半干法/湿法耦合臭氧氧化脱硝、活性焦脱硫脱硝一体化技术,重点介绍了这些技术在某大型钢铁企业的应用实践及应用效果。并基于全过程耦合技术,分别在焦化和烧结工序中提出了多污染物协同去除技术及应用,即焦炉低氮燃烧技术耦合末端活性焦多污染物协同控制技术、烧结烟气循环技术耦合末端活性焦多污染物协同控制技术。最后结合几种技术路线的应用实践,对未来钢铁产业的烧结及焦化工序超低排放技术的选择提出合理化建议。  相似文献

In this study, zirconia-toughened alumina (ZTA) samples with different amounts of CeO2 were prepared by the spark plasma sintering method. The phase composition and microstructure of the samples were examined by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The addition of CeO2 results in grain refinement and density increase; moreover, CeO2 stabilises the high-temperature metastable phase. As the amount of CeO2 reaches 7 wt%, a new CeAl11O18 phase appears. The Vickers hardness, modulus, and fracture toughness of the samples depend to a large extent on the grain size, relative density, and existence of the second phase. Among the composites, that with 5 wt% CeO2 shows the best performance with the highest values of relative density, Vickers hardness, and fracture toughness: 96.51%, 1688 HV, and 9.91 MPa.√m, respectively.  相似文献

Materials with two distinct (magnetostrictive-ferroelectric) phases, i.e., x (Co0·9Ni0·1Fe2O4) -(1-x) [0.5 (Ba0·7Ca0·3TiO3) −0.5 (BaZr0·2Ti0·8O3)], combined at ratios of 10:90, 20:80, 30:70, and 40:60 were prepared using a hydroxide coprecipitation method. These multiferroic composites were subjected to sintering via the hybrid microwave sintering technique at 1200 °C for 20 min. Ni-substituted CFO exhibited excellent magnetic properties at room temperature, with Ms ≈ 80 emu/g, μB ≈ 3.37, Mr ≈ 19.05 emu/g, and Hc ≈ 599 Oe, as well as a high value of the magnetostriction coefficient (λ12 ≈ −118 ppm). The magnetostrictive-ferroelectric crystal phases in each composite were confirmed via X-ray diffraction analysis. The highest value of the linear magneto-electric coefficient was α = 21.6 mV/cm-Oe at a frequency of 1 kHz for the 40CNFO-60(BCT-BZT) composite, and a similar sample had the highest value of the magnetodielectric coefficient, which was approximately 3.3% at f = 1 kHz with an applied magnetic field of 1 T. The typical ferromagnetic and ferroelectric nature of each composite was confirmed by M − H and P–E hysteresis loops, respectively at room temperature. Two anomalies were observed in the temperature-dependent dielectric permittivity one at ~140 °C and another above 500 °C confirming the coexistence of two materials with distinct transition points, i.e., BCT-BZT and CNFO, respectively.  相似文献

This paper describes and discusses the application of the original sintering process named cold sintering to the electrolyte material BaCe0.8Zr0.1Y0.1O3-δ to enhance its densification at a temperature below that needed in a conventional sintering. This new technique enables the acceleration of the densification resulting in a more compacted microstructure with an unexpected high relative density of 83 % at only 180 °C. A subsequent annealing at 1200 °C further enhances the densification which reaches 94 %. The electrochemical performance of CSP sintered ceramics was investigated and optimized by varying different process parameters. The comparison with the conventional sintered material reveals an increase of the total conductivity by mostly increasing the grain boundary one. This result emphasizes the benefits of CSP to not only reduce the sintering temperature but also to enhance the electrochemical properties.  相似文献

为了解决中频炉烧结钍钨坯条密度偏低的问题,对中频炉进行了炉底、炉体、顶盖技术改造,改造后提高了工装的隔热效果,使中频炉耐热温度由2 300 ℃提高到2 800 ℃,然后进行钍钨坯条的烧结,研究了中频烧结钍钨坯条的工艺参数,结果表明:2 300 ℃烧结密度只有16.94 g?cm-3,提高烧结温度到2 800 ℃此时接近氧化钍的熔点(3 220 ℃),烧结后密度提升较大达到18.70 g?cm-3,达到后续加工要求,2 800 ℃烧结延长高温烧结时间和增加保温平台的方式对钍钨坯条的烧结密度影响不大。  相似文献

The properties of ZrO2: 8 mol% Y2O3 (8YSZ) ceramics with LiF and KCl sintering aids for liquid phase formation during electric field-assisted sintering were studied. Sintering experiments were carried out at 650 °C under 200 V cm−1 AC electric field by varying current density, current application time, as well as LiF and KCl contents. Pellets sintered with KCl addition had cavities, cracks and fractures. Pellets sintered with 15 wt.% LiF, on the other hand, were homogeneous after thermal removal of LiF upon Joule heating. Low electric current densities coupled with longer application times produced homogeneous specimens. Three different stages were identified during sintering experiments: (i) LiF melting with the electric field applied at furnace temperatures lower than its melting point, (ii) shrinkage due to liquid phase formation and LiF removal, (iii) final densification due to grain growth and pore elimination. The electrical behavior and an estimate of the porosity were carried out by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements.  相似文献

A fabrication route based on aqueous colloidal processing plus transient liquid-phase assisted spark-plasma-sintering (SPS) with Ti-Al additives is described for the environmentally friendly obtention of superhard B4C composites reinforced with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) having orthotropic and isotropic microstructures. It is shown that the former, which have coarse rGO platelets preferentially aligned perpendicular to the SPS pressing direction, can be prepared from mixtures of B4C and Ti-Al particles with a source of thick, large rGO nanoplatelets by imposing smooth co-dispersion conditions to avoid platelet re-exfoliation and fragmentation. The latter, which have fine rGO platelets randomly oriented, can be fabricated from mixtures of B4C and Ti-Al particles with a source of thin, small rGO nanoplatelets by applying intensive sonication to promote platelet re-exfoliation and fragmentation during co-dispersion. Finally, it is shown that these orthotropic and isotropic B4C/rGO composites are equally superhard, and that, as expected, their microstructures interact differently with the cracks. Finally, this processing route is simple, and easily adaptable/extensible to make other ceramic/rGO composites with orthotropic and isotropic microstructures.  相似文献
