ABSTRACT

A dual-phase (12?vol.% delta-ferrite?+?78?vol.% austenite) high manganese twinning-induced plasticity (TWIP) steel was produced by hot rolled and annealing treatment. In comparison with the fully austenitic TWIP steel, both the yield and ultimate tensile strength of the dual-phase TWIP steel reinforced by hard delta-ferrite are significantly increased. It was found that the delta-ferrite in dual-phase steel exhibits a high hardness owing to the formed DO3 structured intermetallic phase within ferrite. The presence of delta-ferrite dramatically improves the strain-hardening ability of TWIP steel. This is principally attributed to the effects of strain partitioning between hard delta-ferrite and softer austenite on the kinetics of deformation twinning and/or additional geometrical necessary dislocation (GND) during the deformation process.  相似文献

The deformation twins initiated in CrMnFeCoNi high entropy alloy at cryogenic temperature are experimentally studied. Under the external loading, a three-dimensional shear stress concentration originating from dislocation tangling at both the grain boundaries and twin boundaries could be formed, which promotes emission of partial dislocations from the planar defects and is thus considered to be the key factor for twin formation. A sympathetic nucleation mechanism is proposed to describe the nucleation behaviors of twins.  相似文献

Multiple births or twinning in cattle is a naturally occurring reproductive phenomenon. For dairy cattle, twinning is considered a detrimental trait as it can be harmful to cow and calf as well as costly to the producer. The objective of this study was to examine recent US calving records for the Holstein breed to determine a current estimate of heritability for twinning rate along with effects of season and parity. Two models were used in this study: a linear sire model and a binary threshold-logit sire model. Both were mixed models considering fixed effects and random effects. Analyses were conducted using a restricted maximum likelihood method. Heritability estimates were 0.0192 ± 0.0009 and 0.1420 ± 0.0069 for the linear and threshold models, respectively. Repeatabilities from the linear and threshold-logit models were 0.0443 ± 0.0012 and 0.2310 ± 0.0072, respectively. The nonzero estimates of heritability indicate the potential to select against this trait for genetic improvement of Holstein cattle.  相似文献

以室温单轴拉伸实验与晶体塑性有限元相结合的方法,通过拉伸取向控制,研究了AZ31镁合金拉伸变形过程中孪生行为、织构演化规律、塑性各向异性之间的关系。基于率相关晶体塑性本构理论,建立了滑移和孪生机制耦合的具有不同取向的晶体塑性本构模型,引入孪晶体积分数研究孪生对AZ31镁合金塑性变形过程中织构演变和力学性能的影响。结果表明,2种不同取向的样品在塑性变形过程中呈现出明显不同的织构演变规律,表现出明显的各向异性。轴向拉伸时孪生被抑制,孪晶激活体积分数低,径向拉伸时孪晶极易产生,孪晶激活体积分数高。轴向试样在整个塑性变形过程中{0001}极图偏移较小,径向试样因大量拉伸孪晶的开启,使得{0001}棱柱面织构的极密度逐渐向RD的正反方向发生明显偏移。  相似文献

本文基于分子动力学模拟,通过研究钛单晶纳米柱在拉伸和压缩下的力学响应特征及晶体结构演化行为,揭示其塑性变形机制。结果表明沿[0001]晶向拉伸条件下主要塑性变形机制为伴生的{101 ?2}孪晶和基面层错;而沿[0001]晶向压缩条件下,基面位错作为优先形核的缺陷参与到塑性变形过程,随后锥面位错出现并协调了轴向和横向变形,压缩条件下无孪晶产生。拉伸模拟过程中观察到一种有别于传统孪生的晶体再取向现象,其孪晶与基体间呈现基面/柱面对应关系。  相似文献

Our objective was to evaluate the effect of manipulating progesterone (P4) concentrations before timed artificial insemination (TAI) on reproductive and endocrine outcomes in high-producing Holstein cows. Multiparous lactating Holstein cows (n = 80) were synchronized for first TAI using a Double-Ovsynch protocol and were randomly assigned to receive 25 mg of PGF 1 d after the first GnRH treatment of the Breeding-Ovsynch protocol that included a once-used P4 insert (low-P4 group) or to receive 2 new P4 inserts during the Breeding-Ovsynch protocol (high-P4 group). Blood samples were collected thrice weekly from ?10 to 32 d relative to TAI for all cows and from 32 to 67 d after TAI for pregnant cows and were analyzed for P4 and pregnancy-specific protein B (PSPB) concentrations. Expression of IFNτ-stimulated gene 15 (ISG15) was assessed in blood leukocytes 18 and 20 d after TAI. As expected, P4 concentrations were greater for high-P4 cows than for low-P4 cows from 3 to 8 d before TAI. Incidence of double ovulation was 3-fold greater for low-P4 cows than for high-P4 cows (33 vs. 10%), which resulted in more twin pregnancies 32 d after TAI for low-P4 cows than for high-P4 cows (29 vs. 0%). Low-P4 cows had larger preovulatory follicles at the last GnRH treatment of the Double-Ovsynch protocol and greater P4 concentrations than high-P4 cows after TAI. Relative expression of ISG15 mRNA 18 and 20 d after TAI was greater for low-P4 cows than for high-P4 cows and for pregnant cows than for nonpregnant cows. Overall, PSPB concentrations tended to be greater for low-P4 cows than for high-P4 cows, and pregnant cows had greater P4 concentrations than nonpregnant cows. In summary, cows with low P4 before TAI had increased preovulatory follicle diameter, PSPB concentrations, relative expression of ISG15 mRNA 18 and 20 d after TAI, double ovulations, and twinning compared with cows with high P4 before TAI. Increasing P4 before TAI may effectively decrease double ovulation and twinning in high-producing multiparous Holstein cows.  相似文献

The periplasmic aldehyde oxidoreductase PaoABC from Escherichia coli is a molybdenum enzyme involved in detoxification of aldehydes in the cell. It is an example of an αβγ heterotrimeric enzyme of the xanthine oxidase family of enzymes which does not dimerize via its molybdenum cofactor binding domain. In order to structurally characterize PaoABC, X-ray crystallography and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) have been carried out. The protein crystallizes in the presence of 20% (w/v) polyethylene glycol 3350 using the hanging-drop vapour diffusion method. Although crystals were initially twinned, several experiments were done to overcome twinning and lowering the crystallization temperature (293 K to 277 K) was the solution to the problem. The non-twinned crystals used to solve the structure diffract X-rays to beyond 1.80 Å and belong to the C2 space group, with cell parameters a = 109.42 Å, b = 78.08 Å, c = 151.77 Å, β = 99.77°, and one molecule in the asymmetric unit. A molecular replacement solution was found for each subunit separately, using several proteins as search models. SAXS data of PaoABC were also collected showing that, in solution, the protein is also an αβγ heterotrimer.  相似文献

为了发展大直径薄壁纯钛管数控加热弯曲技术,实验研究了大口径薄壁CP-3管材在不同温度下数控弯曲后的内外侧塑性变形机制。通过EBSD分析和维氏显微硬度测试方法,对数控弯曲温度293、423和573 K下弯管件试样弯曲外侧受拉区域以及弯曲内侧受压区域进行显微组织变化和维氏硬度分析。结果表明:1)在不同温度下数控弯曲变形后,弯管外侧塑性变形机制主要为滑移,孪生变形微弱,择优取向类似于初始管材的;弯管内侧塑性变形机制主要以{1 012}孪晶为主,滑移为辅助机制,且孪晶使管壁材料择优取向产生剧烈转变。2)维氏硬度的变化与塑性变形机制及织构有关。弯曲变形后,管材试样内外侧轴向与周向的维氏硬度值均显著得到提高,且管材试样内侧的维氏硬度值要明显高于外侧的,周向的维氏硬度值高于轴向的。  相似文献
