平板集热器(倾角)变化工况数值模拟

运用FLUENT数值模拟软件分析了平板集热器(倾角)变化对集热器传热特性的影响,保证其结构参数不变,通过对5组不同倾角(0°、30°、45°、60°、75°)的数值模型进行非稳态模拟,对模拟数据进行分析,得出了平板集热器不同倾角对集热器传热性能变化的影响。     

Output feedback controller for polytopic systems exploiting the direct searching of the design space

This paper deals with the problem of designing a robust static output feedback controller for polytopic systems. The current research that tackled this problem is mainly based on LMI method, which is conservative by nature. In this paper, a novel approach is proposed, which considers the design space of the controller parameters and iteratively partitions the space to small simplexes. Then, by assessing the stability in each simplex, the solution space for design parameters is directly determined. It has been theoretically proved that, if there exists a feasible solution in the design space, the algorithm can find it. To validate the result of the proposed approach, comparative simulation examples are given to illustrate the performance of the design methodology as compared to those of previous approaches.     

Sinusoidal disturbance rejection in chaotic planar oscillators

The main goal of this paper is to design a compensator able to restore the nominal behavior of a planar system, which is rendered chaotic by an unmeasurable sinusoidal disturbance input. To reach such a goal, some instruments, taken from algebraic geometry, are used to estimate the unmeasurable disturbance from the time derivatives of the output of the system and of the control input. Deposition of UF5 on the surface of steel material having oxide coating in contact with gaseous UF6

When UF6 is handled in leak tight system, the amount of uranium compound formed on the surface of containers, valves, and others in UF6 handling facilities is not so significant for a short term that special attention has not been given to this problem. The present work was done to throw some more light on this problem based on the recent experiment. We discuss the possibility that the intermolecular transfer of a fluorine atom from UF6 to UF5 may participate in the formation of uranium compound. The discussion includes also the unique features contained in the experimental result, the reaction processes assumed in this problem, and the derivation of a rate equation for expressing the deposition of uranium compound. Furthermore, we propose a new method for determining nonlinear parameters included in a governing differential equation having two variables for expressing the deposition of uranium compound from experimental raw data.     

Investigations on Selectivity of Gas-Liquid Reactions in Capillaries

Biocatalysis offers a broad spectrum of possible ecological and economic advantages over conventional chemical catalysis processes, e.g., lower energy consumption and high enantio selectivity. The focus of this work is on gas-liquid reactions. These are of great importance in the chemical and biochemical industry and subject of current research since they are often limited by mass transfer or show low selectivity. Different suitable biocatalytically gas-liquid reaction systems were tested in capillary reactor designs in order to obtain information about the interaction between reaction and fluid mechanics. Furthermore, an optical measuring method was established. The experiments were performed in batch mode in a glass beaker with a flow cuvette for UV/Vis measurement of product concentration.     

Sequential Spectrum Analysis of the Sideband Components of Digital Amplitude-Modulated Signals

It is shown that, for the spectrum analysis of digital quasi-periodic signals, one must use a procedure based on approximating the sequence of data readouts by a first-order trigonometric polynomial with a varying frequency of its harmonic functions.     

Data structure and algorithms for fast automatic differentiation

In this paper we discuss the data structure and algorithms for the direct application of generalized Leibnitz rules to the numerical computation of partial derivatives in forward mode. The proposed data structure provides constant time access to the partial derivatives, which accelerates the automatic differentiation computations. The interaction among elements of the data structure is explained by several numerical examples. The paper contains analysis of the developed data structure and algorithms. 在著名的Frank—Weissenbom不等式中导数f^(k)能否被替换成一般的线性微分多项式α0f α1f^1 … αkf^(k)，此前一直是一个悬而未决的问题。本文中解决了这一问题，并推广了Flank-WeiSsenbron不等式。例子表明所得定理的条件是必要的。     

On the determination of optimal transition profile of a stepped bar in tension or in torsion by BEM

The objective is to have uniformly distributed tangential stresses on the transition profile of a stepped bar subjected to tensile and torsional loading using an axisymmetric boundary element formulation. The transition curve is represented by the Langragian interpolation polynomial with progressive degrees to avoid shape distortion during the optimization procedure. The calculated result is compared with that obtained by fluid dynamics given in the literature. It is seen that the transition curve obtained in this paper is reasonable.
