In this article, NiFe2O4 nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared by co-precipitation method with subsequent thermal annealing leading to obtainment NPs with average sizes of 78 nm. Structure and magnetic analysis were performed by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, Mössbauer spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry techniques. Stability of NiFe2O4 NPs was evaluated in PBS solution during 20 days. The toxicity of prepared NPs was evaluated in vitro using different cancer cell lines: HeLa (cervical cancer cell), PC-3 (prostate cancer cell). Fibroblasts like cells of L929 obtained from subcutaneous adipose tissue of mouse were used as normal cells. Results indicate successful synthesis of NiFe2O4 NPs that exhibit low cytotoxicity in concentration range from 1 to 100 μg/ml. Presented physical and biological results indicate the possibility of application investigated magnetic nanoparticles in hyperthermia, targeted drug delivery, magnetic resonance imaging or cell separation.  相似文献

Environmental problems caused by polymers and polymers have historically dominated both academic and industrial attention. Sustainable biodegradable wood-plastic composites (WPCs) as an optimum can solve the environmentally critical problems caused by petroleum-based polymers. However, they are flammable, prone to fire accidents, and often have a contradiction between mechanical performance and flame-retardant properties, which limits their range of applications. Here, we reported a flame-retarded poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) WPC prepared with modified natural fiber-magnesium hydroxide sulfate whisker (MHSH) hybrids and intumescent flame retardant s (IFRs). The mechanical performance, flame-retardant properties , thermal stability, and actual fire simulation parameters of composites were investigated. Owing to the unique composition characteristics of modified cassava dregs-MHSH hybrids, the mechanical properties (70P/23I/5C/2M, flexural strength was 39.2 ± 1.960/MPa, impact strength was 7.95 ± 0.3975/ [KJ/m2]), flame retardant properties (70P/23I/5C/2M, the limiting oxygen index value was 39.6%, UL-94 was V0) and thermal stability of WPC have been improved. Thereby, the balance between mechanical performance and flame retardant properties of biocomposites has been achieved in the practical engineering requirements. Furthermore, cone calorimeter data indicated that modified cassava dregs–MHSH hybrids played a role in improving the fire safety of composites. The total heat release, total smoke produce, toxic gas release, and total oxygen consumed of 70P/23I/5C/2M were lowered compared with those of 70P/25I/5C. Dynamics analysis indicated that the addition of modified cassava dregs–MHSH hybrids increased the activation energy of composites. Based on the experimental and analyses data, especially the morphological characterization of char residue analysis, it illustrated that modified cassava dregs–MHSH hybrids have a reinforcement and flame-retardant effect. The combusted residue of the incorporated modified cassava dregs–MHSH hybrids could support the three-dimensional charred layer formed by the combustion products of the IFR and the PBS. Thus, the more stable three-dimensional charred layer could not only effectively reduce thermal conductivity of composites but also hinder the propagation of heat into the interior substrate, thereby improving the flame-retardant properties of the WPC. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 通过差示扫描量热仪、偏光显微镜、原子力显微镜等研究了质量比80/20的聚环氧乙烷(PEO)与聚丁二酸丁二酯(PBS)的共混结晶热力学、结晶形貌、多次熔融重结晶行为。实验结果表明,共混不利于二者的结晶,但熔点低的PEO起到溶剂化作用,使PBS分子链更加规整的折叠排列,晶体完善度提高。共混物熔融结晶时PBS为PEO结晶提供了环带球晶框架:过冷度低时PEO片晶沿着PBS片晶生长,且晶体致密;过冷度高时,PEO片晶的生长不能完全复制PBS的片晶生长方式,在遵循形成环带球晶框架的基础上,PEO片晶按物质自身需求方式生长。此外,共混物在多次经历135℃→80℃→40℃的热处理时,PEO会发生团聚,共混物球晶不再是环带球晶,球晶半径逐渐增大。而PEO在屡次加热中被氧化,以无定形态聚集在两个共混物球晶之间。  相似文献

Tree nut allergies are considered an important health issue in developed countries. To comply with the regulations on food labeling, reliable allergen detection methods are required. In this work we isolated almond-specific recombinant antibody fragments (scFv) from a commercial phage display library bypassing the use of live animals, hence being consistent with the latest policies on animal welfare. To this end an iterative selection procedure employing the Tomlinson I phage display library and a crude almond protein extract was carried out. Two different almond-specific scFv (named PD1F6 and PD2C9) were isolated after two rounds of biopanning, and an indirect phage ELISA was implemented to detect the presence of almond protein in foodstuffs. The isolated scFvs demonstrated to be highly specific and allowed detection of 40 ng mL−1 and 100 ng mL−1 of raw and roasted almond protein, respectively. The practical detection limit of the assay in almond spiked food products was 0.1 mg g−1 (110–120 ppm). The developed indirect phage ELISA was validated by analysis of 92 commercial food products, showing good correlation with the results obtained by a previously developed real-time PCR method for the detection of almond in foodstuffs. The selected phage clones can be affinity maturated to improve their sensitivity and genetically engineered to be employed in different assay formats.  相似文献

以聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(PBS)为基材,经十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)改性过的纳米蒙脱土为填料,采用熔融共混法,制备了PBS/MMT纳米复合材料,并研究了该复合材料的热稳定性能、力学性能和流变性能等。结果表明:当改性nano-MMT的添加质量分数为5%时,复合材料的熔点约提高了2.55℃,热初始分解温度提高了33℃;当其添加质量分数为3%时,复合材料的拉伸强度提高了9%,断裂伸长率提高了3%,冲击强度提高了23%;复合材料的流变性能比纯PBS的流变性能有一定程度的提高。  相似文献

Immunochromatographic assays (ICAs) are considered as a suitable diagnostic tool for the detection of mycotoxins. Mycotoxins and especially, ochratoxin A are analytes with more demanding sensitivity requirements. To enhance the sensitivity of current immunochromatographic assays for ochratoxin A (OTA), a novel sensitive ICA was developed in this study. In the assay, microspheres enclosing fluorescent europium (III) [Eu(III)] nanoparticles (EuNPs) were used as a label for OTA monoclonal antibody (OTA-mAb) conjugation. Accordingly, assay was called time-resolved fluorescent immunochromatographic assay (TRFICA). The test strip was composed of three parts: a sample pad, nitrocellulose membrane and an absorbent pad. As for detection, a proper concentration of conjugated microspheres was pipetted into the microtube and sample extract was added to it. Then the strip was inserted into the tube and the fluid flow along the strip. The TRFICA results were obtained in 8 min and read by a portable TRFICA strip reader. The established method allows quantitative determination of OTA with limit of detection as low as 1.0 μg kg−1 in the samples. For validation, spiked samples including wheat, maize, soybean and rice were respectively assayed by TRFICA and a standard high performance liquid chromatography equipped with a fluorescence detector (HPLC-FLD), and good agreement of results was obtained between two methods.  相似文献

采用连续式蒸汽爆破法对棉皮纤维进行预处理,将其与聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(PBS)进行共混,制备了PBS/棉皮纤维复合材料。利用扫描电镜对棉皮纤维及PBS/棉皮纤维复合材料的微观形貌进行了分析,并研究了棉皮纤维含量对PBS/棉皮纤维复合材料熔融及结晶行为、热降解性能、热变形温度以及力学性能的影响。结果表明:经蒸汽爆破处理后,棉皮纤维直径变小,比表面积变大,在PBS基体中分散均匀;棉皮纤维的存在改变了PBS的熔融峰值温度,提高了其结晶度;与纯PBS相比,PBS/棉皮纤维复合材料在高温条件下的热稳定性得到改善维,卡软化温度和弯曲强度提高。  相似文献
