The luminescent hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF) based films have become one of the most remarkable materials for optical application, thus, developing facile synthesis methods and establishing multifunctional applications for HOF-based luminescent materials are essential. Herein, a dual-emitting Eu3+-functionalized HOF hydrogel film ( 1 ) is fabricated successfully. 1 emits a blue-green long afterglow when turning off the UV lamp, and the long afterglow lifetime gets to 1.99 s. 1 performs great selectivity, high sensitivity, and low detection limit toward ofloxacin and flumequine, and the sensing toward ofloxacin and flumequine is in accord with the chroma and ratio modes. The fluorescent response mechanisms of 1  toward ofloxacin and flumequine are investigated in depth, which are further utilized to build an anticounterfeiting platform with high-level security. The film-based anticounterfeiting platform can conduct information encryption on demand inline with different fluorescent responses and can also fetch specific information by controlling the long afterglow intensity and excited light. This study not only provides a representative case of the fabrication of dual-emitting Eu3+-functionalized HOF-based hydrogel film but also opens the possibility of HOF-based film as intelligent luminescent materials with multifunctionalities.  相似文献

Fluorescent detection is a new spectroscopic measurement for ions sensing due to the advantages of real-time determination with high selectivity, accuracy, and low cost. However, chemosensors based on fluorescent detection are usually determined by absolute intensity from a monochromatic emission signal, which is easy to be fluctuated by the external environment, especially for Fe3+ detection in complex fluids. Herein, we rationally design a dual-emission Eu3+: CDs@ZIF-8 to construct a ratiometric fluorescent sensor with self-calibrating ability for Fe3+ determination. High efficient carbon dots (CDs) are embedded in europium ions (Eu3+)-doped MOF by simple stirring preparation at room temperature. The label-free ratiometric fluorescent probe (ICDs@ZIF-8/IEu) exhibits simultaneous blue and red emission under the same excitation at 365 nm. Remarkably, Eu3+: CDs@ZIF-8 displays the superiority of high selectivity to Fe3+, which shows ratiometric fluorescence characteristics (I0/I) in a range of 0-6 μmol\L with a low limit of detection (LOD) of 0.897 μmol\L. Besides, the CDs-MOF nanocomposite holds good aqueous dispersibility and low cytotoxicity, which shows great potential applications in medical aid including biological detection and clinical diagnosis.  相似文献

This study investigated the inhibitory effects of curcumin and piperine on fluorescent advanced glycation end products (fAGEs) formation in a bovine serum albumin (BSA)–fructose model. Model systems of BSA and fructose were prepared, and curcumin or piperine was added. fAGEs and BSA oxidation product (dityrosine, kynurenine and N'-formylkynurenine) contents were determined. The results showed that fAGEs content decreased with increasing concentration of curcumin and piperine (P < 0.05). Addition of curcumin and piperine at 160 µg mL−1 could inhibit fluorescent AGEs by 100% and 93% respectively. Dityrosine and N'-formylkynurenine contents decreased as curcumin and piperine concentration increased (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the result of principal component analysis indicated that curcumin and piperine markedly impeded BSA oxidation, resulting in a lower level of fAGEs in model systems. Therefore, adding curcumin and piperine may facilitate reduced fAGEs levels in BSA–fructose model.  相似文献

Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) is a mosquito-transmitted virus from the Bunyaviridae family that causes high rates of mortality and morbidity in humans and ruminant animals. Previous studies indicated that DEAD-box helicase 17 (DDX17) restricts RVFV replication by recognizing two primary non-coding RNAs in the S-segment of the genome: the intergenic region (IGR) and 5′ non-coding region (NCR). However, we lack molecular insights into the direct binding of DDX17 with RVFV non-coding RNAs and information on the unwinding of both non-coding RNAs by DDX17. Therefore, we performed an extensive biophysical analysis of the DDX17 helicase domain (DDX17135–555) and RVFV non-coding RNAs, IGR and 5’ NCR. The homogeneity studies using analytical ultracentrifugation indicated that DDX17135–555, IGR, and 5’ NCR are pure. Next, we performed small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) experiments, which suggested that DDX17 and both RNAs are homogenous as well. SAXS analysis also demonstrated that DDX17 is globular to an extent, whereas the RNAs adopt an extended conformation in solution. Subsequently, microscale thermophoresis (MST) experiments were performed to investigate the direct binding of DDX17 to the non-coding RNAs. The MST experiments demonstrated that DDX17 binds with the IGR and 5’ NCR with a dissociation constant of 5.77 ± 0.15 µM and 9.85 ± 0.11 µM, respectively. As DDX17135–555 is an RNA helicase, we next determined if it could unwind IGR and NCR. We developed a helicase assay using MST and fluorescently-labeled oligos, which suggested DDX17135–555 can unwind both RNAs. Overall, our study provides direct evidence of DDX17135–555 interacting with and unwinding RVFV non-coding regions.  相似文献

We report here a water-soluble metal cation sensor system based on the as-prepared or reduced form of an expanded porphyrin, texaphyrin. Upon metal complexation, a change in the redox state of the ligand occurs that is accompanied by a color change from red to green. Although long employed for synthesis in organic media, we have now found that this complexation-driven redox behavior may be used to achieve the naked eye detectable colorimetric sensing of several number of less-common metal ions in aqueous media. Exposure to In(III), Hg(II), Cd(II), Mn(II), Bi(III), Co(II), and Pb(II) cations leads to a colorimetric response within 10 min. This process is selective for Hg(II) under conditions of competitive analysis. Furthermore, among the subset of response-producing cations, In(III) proved unique in giving rise to a ratiometric change in the ligand-based fluorescence features, including an overall increase in intensity. The cation selectivity observed in aqueous media stands in contrast to what is seen in organic solvents, where a wide range of texaphyrin metal complexes may be prepared. The formation of metal cation complexes under the present aqueous conditions was confirmed by reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography, ultra-violet-visible absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies, and high-resolution mass spectrometry.  相似文献

采用湿化学法制备了Eu~(3+)掺杂Y_2P_4O_(13)荧光材料,通过X射线粉末衍射(XRD)、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)和荧光光谱(FL)等手段表征制备产物的物相结构、荧光性能,并对合成原料中稀土与磷的比例(n(Y+Eu)/n(P))和pH调节剂种类对制备样品的物相结构及性能的影响进行分析。结果表明:合成原料中n(Y+Eu)/n(P)比值和pH调节剂种类直接影响着制备产物的物相结构与性能。在n(Y+Eu)/n(P)=12.1、以NH_4HCO_3为pH调节剂调节pH为6的条件下可获得正交晶系的Eu~(3+)掺杂Y_2P_4O_(13)荧光材料。所制备的Y_2P_4O_(13):2at%Eu~(3+)荧光材料在395nm光的激发下可发射出橙红光。  相似文献

The present study considers a possible role of enzymatic reactions in the adaptive response of cells to the beta-emitting radionuclide tritium under conditions of low-dose exposures. Effects of tritiated water (HTO) on the reactions of bacterial luciferase and NAD(P)H:FMN-oxidoreductase, as well as a coupled system of these two reactions, were studied at radioactivity concentrations ≤ 200 MBq/L. Additionally, one of the simplest enzymatic reactions, photobiochemical proton transfer in Coelenteramide-containing Fluorescent Protein (CLM-FP), was also investigated. We found that HTO increased the activity of NAD(P)H:FMN-oxidoreductase at the initial stage of its reaction (by up to 230%); however, a rise of luciferase activity was moderate (<20%). The CLM-FP samples did not show any increase in the rate of the photobiochemical proton transfer under the exposure to HTO. The responses of the enzyme systems were compared to the ‘hormetic’ response of luminous marine bacterial cells studied earlier. We conclude that (1) the oxidoreductase reaction contributes significantly to the activation of the coupled enzyme system and bacterial cells by tritium, and (2) an increase in the organization level of biological systems promotes the hormesis phenomenon.  相似文献

CreiLOV is a flavin-binding fluorescent protein derived from the blue-light photoreceptor protein family that contains light-oxygen-voltage (LOV) sensing domains. Flavin-binding fluorescent proteins represent a promising foundation for new fluorescent reporters and biosensors that can address limitations of the well-established green fluorescent protein (GFP) family. Flavin-binding fluorescent proteins are smaller than GFPs, are stable over a wider pH range, offer rapid chromophore incorporation, and are oxygen-independent so can be applied to live anaerobic organisms. Among the flavin-binding fluorescent proteins, CreiLOV has a high quantum yield and excellent photophysical properties, making it promising for cellular applications. Here, we investigated the suitability of CreiLOV as an intensity- and fluorescence-lifetime-based metal sensor. CreiLOV selectively binds copper(II) over other biologically relevant metals with low-micromolar affinity, resulting in fluorescence quenching and a decrease in the fluorescence lifetime that can be observed in cuvettes and live bacterial cells.  相似文献

Fluorescent nanodiamonds (fNDs) containing nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers are promising candidates for quantum sensing in biological environments. This work describes the fabrication and implementation of electrospun poly lactic‐co‐glycolic acid (PLGA) nanofibers embedded with fNDs for optical quantum sensing in an environment, which recapitulates the nanoscale architecture and topography of the cell niche. A protocol that produces uniformly dispersed fNDs within electrospun nanofibers is demonstrated and the resulting fibers are characterized using fluorescent microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) and longitudinal spin relaxometry results for fNDs and embedded fNDs are compared. A new approach for fast detection of time varying magnetic fields external to the fND embedded nanofibers is demonstrated. ODMR spectra are successfully acquired from a culture of live differentiated neural stem cells functioning as a connected neural network grown on fND embedded nanofibers. This work advances the current state of the art in quantum sensing by providing a versatile sensing platform that can be tailored to produce physiological‐like cell niches to replicate biologically relevant growth environments and fast measurement protocols for the detection of co‐ordinated endogenous signals from clinically relevant populations of electrically active neuronal circuits.  相似文献

以柠檬酸和尿素分别为碳源和氮源,微波法合成含氮掺杂碳点N-CDs。以异氟尔酮二异氰酸酯(IPDI)、聚氧化丙烯(PPG-2000)为主要原料,加入不同量的N-CDs制备一系列碳点水性聚氨酯复合材料 (N-CDs/WPU)。通过FTIR、TEM、XPS、UV-vis、荧光光谱和力学性能测试等对复合材料结构和性能进行表征。测试结果表明N-CDs主要由碳氮氧元素组成,表面具有胺基、羟基等活性基团,N-CDs的加入,提高了复合胶膜的力学性能,赋予了胶膜荧光性能。当N-CDs质量分数为0.6%时胶膜拉伸强度达到最大35.00MPa,加入量质量分数为0.8%时荧光强度最佳。  相似文献
