Dendrimers are novel three dimensional, hyperbranched globular nanopolymeric architectures. Attractive features like nanoscopic size, narrow polydispersity index, excellent control over molecular structure, availability of multiple functional groups at the periphery and cavities in the interior distinguish them amongst the available polymers. Applications of dendrimers in a large variety of fields have been explored. Drug delivery scientists are especially enthusiastic about possible utility of dendrimers as drug delivery tool. Terminal functionalities provide a platform for conjugation of the drug and targeting moieties. In addition, these peripheral functional groups can be employed to tailor-make the properties of dendrimers, enhancing their versatility. The present review highlights the contribution of dendrimers in the field of nanotechnology with intent to aid the researchers in exploring dendrimers in the field of drug delivery. 相似文献

The effects of operating parameters on desulfurization efficiency of a dual-alkali FGD process in a rotating-stream-tray (RST) scrubber are investigated. A dimensionless factor, e, is proposed in this study to predict desulfurization efficiency of this dual-alkali FGD system. e represents the desulfurization ability of a dual alkali FGD system, determined by five main operating parameters such as sodium ion concentration, ratio of absorbent flow rate to flue gas flow rate, pH value of absorbent solution, ratio of sulfate ion to total sulfur ion in absorbent solution, and sulfur dioxide concentration of inlet flue gas. The empirical expression for predicting desulfurization efficiency at different temperatures is obtained through the experimental study and theoretical calculation. This paper proposes a clustering technique that minimizes the need for subjective human intervention and is based on elements of rough set theory (RST). The proposed algorithm is unified in its approach to clustering and makes use of both local and global data properties to obtain clustering solutions. It handles single-type and mixed attribute data sets with ease. An image rectification scheme and its applications in RST invariant digital image watermarking 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
This paper presents an image rectification scheme that can be used by any image watermarking algorithm to provide robustness
against rotation, scaling and translation (RST) transformations. Rotation and scaling transformations in the spatial domain
result in cyclically translational shifts in the log-polar mapping (LPM) of the magnitude of the Fourier transform spectrum
of an image. We cut a small block from the LPM domain as a matching template. A new filtering method is proposed to compute
the cross-correlation between this template and the magnitude of the LPM of the image having undergone RST transformations
to detect the rotation and scaling parameters. We employ the same strategy in the spatial domain to detect the translational
parameters in the spatial domain. The scheme can also be used to detect image flipping. The cost of the templates is low and
the templates can even be compressed. The detection accuracy for rotation, scaling and translation is also presented. We compare
the matching results for the different filters and their performance by the three criteria: signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), peak-to-correlation
energy (PCE), and Horner efficiency. We demonstrate that our phase-only filtering method is the only one that can be used
in the LPM domain. We also introduce three applications for this rectification scheme and give their experimental results.

The aim of this paper is to propose a control method for a doubly-fed induction generator used in wind energy conversion systems. First, stator active and reactive powers are regulated by controlling the machine inverter with three different controllers: proportional–integral, polynomial RST based on pole placement theory and Linear Quadratic Gaussian. The machine is tested in association with a wind-turbine emulator. Secondly a control strategy for the grid-converter is proposed. 为了提高灰度水印抵抗滤波,加噪等常见攻击以及几何攻击的能力,提出了一种小波变换域上的高鲁棒水印方案。首先对灰度水印提出了一种新颖的数据压缩方法,并且从中提取出用于水印同步的参考比特。对于受到几何攻击的水印图像,提出了在低频子带上使用图像的主轴和边缘轮廓以获得旋转和缩放参数,从而能准确快速地恢复图像。同时在中频子带上采取了一种对参考比特进行高效匹配的办法来进一步实现水印的同步。实验表明除了一般图像处理之外,对于几何变形攻击本方案具有很好的鲁棒性。 相似文献

Attribute Selection Based on Rough Set Theory for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Fault Diagnosis
Electromagnetic emissions are radiated from every part of a personal computer motherboard, thus producing electromagnetic interference (EMI). EMI has an adverse effect on the surrounding environment because EMI could cause malfunctions or fatal problems in other digital devices. EMI engineers diagnose motherboard EMI problems using the electromagnetic noise data measured by the spectrum analyzer. Finding the sources (e.g., PS2, USB, VGA) of electromagnetic noise is a time-consuming process. The attribute selection and fault diagnosis was developed based on the advantage of rough set theory (RST). RST is a novel data mining approach for dealing with vagueness and uncertainty. It can be used to find hidden patterns in data sets. In this study, the basic rough set theory concepts are introduced. The rough set approach enables one to discover the minimal subsets of condition attributes associated with the motherboard EMI fault diagnosis problem. The operating sequence includes data collection, data preprocessing, discretization, attribute reduction, reduction filtering, rule generation, and classification accuracy. Historical EMI noise data, colleted from a famous motherboard company in Taiwan, were used to generate diagnostic rules. Our research result (average diagnostic accuracy of 80% above) shows that the RST model is a promising approach for EMI diagnostic support systems. 相似文献
