This paper presents a new set of techniques for hardware implementations of Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) hash functions. These techniques consist mostly in operation rescheduling and hardware reutilization, therefore, significantly decreasing the critical path and required area. Throughputs from 1.3 Gbit/s to 1.8 Gbit/s were obtained for the SHA implementations on a Xilinx VIRTEX II Pro. Compared to commercial cores and previously published research, these figures correspond to an improvement in throughput/slice in the range of 29% to 59% for SHA-1 and 54% to 100% for SHA-2. Experimental results on hybrid hardware/software implementations of the SHA cores, have shown speedups up to 150 times for the proposed cores, compared to pure software implementations.   相似文献

Monolayer isotherms were measured for 15, 18, and 20 K for para-hydrogen adsorbed on exfoliated graphite foam, and for the second, third, and fourth layers in the temperature interval of 8 to 20 K, using the standard volumetric method. From the data, the isosteric heat of adsorption, molar entropies and internal energies were obtained as a function of coverage. The values for coverages above the third layer were compared to those at the p-H2 bulk triple point, showing that, within our experimental uncertainty, the results are closer to the values of bulk solid para-hydrogen. Critical temperatures for the second and third layers and the triple point temperature for the second layer, were determined, yielding values of Tc2 = (10.0±0.1) K, Tc3 = (11.0±0.5) K and Tt2 = (6.5±0.1) K respectively. Features occurring along the monolayer coverages are compared to transitions which occur in the para-hydrogen phase diagrams adsorbed on graphite, obtained from heat capacity measurements by other authors. From the isotherms, compressibilities were calculated as a function of coverage for several temperatures. Whenever possible the obtained results were compared to existing data in the literature.  相似文献

A topology optimization procedure is presented as a tool for determining the distribution of external strengthening of concrete slabs, using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP). Although the procedure is applied to slabs in this work, the technique can be used in any concrete structure to be reinforced. Numerical simulations are performed using the Finite Element Method, in combination with the automated topology optimization procedure, to indicate the optimal region for placement of the reinforcement. The influence of some aspects of the slab’s structural behavior on the optimization results is presented: concrete cracking, boundary conditions and reinforcement rate. A brief discussion is given of the similarity between the topology optimization results obtained by the maximum stiffness and ultimate strength criteria. Gains are found in the stiffness and strength of reinforced parts. A comparison with conventional reinforcement techniques demonstrates that topology optimization can be a useful tool for defining the region of reinforcement, allowing for material cost savings.  相似文献

Of the aglycone flavonoids identified in the exudate of cistus ladanifer, two, the flavone apigenin-4-(O)-methyl and the flavonol kaempferol-3,7-di(O)-methyl inhibit development of the seedlings of Rumex crispus at 0.5 and 1 mM. Additive effects were observed between the major flavonols of the exudate kaempferol-3-(O)-methyl and kaempferol-3,7-di-(O)-methyl in inhibiting the size of the cotyledons and delaying the germination and cotyledon emergence. The presence of apigenin-4-(O)-methyl, kaempferol3,7-di-(O)-methyl, and kaempferol-3-(O)-methyl was detected in the soils associated with C. ladanifer during the summer and autumn months. That these compounds are present in the soil and are not restricted to the leaves provides support for the hypothesis that C. ladanifer has allelopathic potential.  相似文献

The evaluation of the microbiological charge present in Costa Rican samples as the evaluation of its antimicrobial activity over different microorganisms, including those associated to wound infections, will allow to emit criteria referred to its use in therapeutic treatments, specially as alternative therapy for cases involving antibiotic resistant bacteria. The microbiological charge of 25 honey samples, acquired in Costa Rican markets was evaluated through several indicators including total plate aerobic count, total plate anaerobic count, total aerobic spore count, total anaerobic spore count and molds and yeast count. Also, samples were inoculated in tubes with chopped meat media and plated in egg yolk agar in order to determine the presence of Clostridium botulinum. For the antimicrobial activity evaluation, the diffusion method in Muller Hinton agar was performed, testing different honey concentrations (100, 75, 50, 25, 12,5 and 6,25 % v/v) against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923), Staphylococcus epidermidis (UCR 2902), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 9027), Escherichia coli (ATCC25922), Salmonella enteritidis (ATCC 13076), Listeria monocytogenes (ATCC 19116) and Aspergillus niger. The results obtained for the microbiological characterization of honey show that 91% of samples had counts equal or lower than 1,0 x 10(1) CFU/g. No positive result was obtained for the isolation of C. botulinum. 24 of the samples analyzed inhibited the growth of S. aureus even in a 25% v/v concentration, nevertheless, A. niger was no inhibited by any of the samples tested.  相似文献

In this work, PVDF composites containing 0.2% (m/m) of carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), PVDF with 5.0% (m/m) of zinc oxide (ZnO), and composites containing both particles in the same contents in the matrix were melt processed in a mini-extruder machine with double screws, using the counter-rotation mode. Composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD), dynamic-mechanical analysis (DMA), and contact angle tests (CA). The samples presented the predominance of the α phase, with an increased degree of crystallinity as well as an increase in dimensional stability by incorporating both fillers, showing a synergistic effect between these particles, as shown on FTIR, DSC, and XRD results. SEM images showed a good dispersion of high aspect ratio particles. In general, DMA and TGA analysis showed that composites had not decreased their thermal and mechanical performance when compared to neat PVDF. Results of CA analysis showed an increase in the hydrophobicity of the sample containing MWCNTs. Permeability tests were also performed using a differential pressure system, combining high temperature and pressure, obtaining permeability measures and time lag. This work presents an alternative of composite materials, suggesting its application in the internal pressure sheath layers of oil and gas flexible pipes.  相似文献

A novel vibrating finger viscometer for high-temperature measurement in liquid metals and alloys up to 1823 K was constructed. The dynamic viscosity (\(\eta \)) of the liquid fluid is measured as a product of \((\rho \cdot \eta )^{0.5}\) and the relative change of the field coil input for a constant amplitude recording at the resonant frequency of the oscillator. The viscometer was calibrated at 298 K using reference silicon oils with varying kinematic viscosities (\(\nu \)), \((0.79\hbox { to } 200)\times 10^{-6}\hbox { m}^{2}\cdot \hbox {s}^{-1}\). In the present study, the viscosity of liquid gold (\(99.99\,\%\) Au), silver (\(99.9\, \%\) Ag), and tin (\(99.9\,\%\) Sn) was measured. The viscosities expressed as an Arrhenius function of temperature are:

Modern large-scale grid computing systems for processing advanced science and engineering applications rely on geographically distributed clusters. In such highly distributed environments, estimating the available bandwidth between clusters is a key issue for efficient task scheduling. We analyze the performance of two well known available bandwidth estimation tools, pathload and abget, with the aim of using them in grid environments. Differently than previous investigations (Jain et al., ; Shriram et al., in Passive and active network measurement: 6th international workshop, PAM 2005. Springer, Berlin, 2005), our experiments consider a series of relevant metrics such as accuracy of the estimation, convergence time, degree of intrusion in the grid links, and ability to handle multiple simultaneous estimations. No previous work has analyzed the use of available bandwidth tools for the derivation of efficient grid scheduling.  相似文献
