Entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is a strategic posture of an organization, and it is related to basic policies and practices for the development of entrepreneurial actions looking for creating competitive advantages. This study develops and tests a model of the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and project success in Brazilian context. As quantitative research, a survey was used to collect data. A sample of 100 valid answers from project practitioners was treated through the structural equation modeling method. As research implications, the main result points out the positive correlation between the entrepreneurial orientation and the project success, contributing to the development of this research subject and helping to minimize the gap in the literature that addresses the relationship between project success and EO. In practical terms, understanding that innovativeness, risk taking, proactiveness, autonomy and competitive aggressiveness (the dimensions of the EO) can contribute to project success and can also indirectly impact on organizational performance, could help organizations get competitive advantage when developing correlate factors. Finally, the results suggest that practices of project management can be aligned to the firm's entrepreneurial orientation to enable firms to attain better results in their projects and generate a competitive advantage. On other hand, given the proportion of the impact of EO on project success (20.3%) identified in this study, it is critical that project management professionals expand their horizon to recognize other factors that affect project success.  相似文献

A theory describing the behavior of chemically non-reacting binary mixtures can be based on a detailed formulation of the governing equations for the individual components of the mixture or on treating the mixture as a single homogenized continuous medium. We argue that if we accept that both approaches can be used to describe the behavior of the given mixture, then the requirement on the equivalence of these approaches places restrictions on the possible structure of the internal energy, entropy, Helmholtz potential, and also of the diffusive, energy, and entropy fluxes. (The equivalence of the approaches is understood in the sense that the quantities used in one approach can be interpreted in terms of the quantities used in the other approach and vice versa. Further, both approaches must lead to the same predictions concerning the evolution of the physical system under consideration). In the case of a general chemically non-reacting binary mixture of components at the same temperature, we show that these restrictions can indeed be obtained by purely algebraic manipulations. An important outcome of this analysis is, for example, a general form of the evolution equation for the diffusive flux. The restrictions can be further exploited in the specification of thermodynamically consistent constitutive relations for quantities such as the interaction (drag) force or the Cauchy stress tensor. As an example of the application of the current framework, we derive, among others, a generalization of Fick’s law and we recover several non-trivial results obtained by other techniques. The qualitative features of the derived generalization of Fick’s law are demonstrated by a numerical experiment.  相似文献

Model Predictive Control framework is currently used in many different fields of expertise. The inherent part and very often also the main bottleneck is the model of a process used for the computation of predictions.Due to many reasons e.g. ageing, from time to time there exists a need to adjust/re-identify (if there was already some kind of a model-based controller) or to construct a brand new model (in other cases). Frequently, the process generating the data is under some kind of control, imposing thus problems when classical open loop identification methods are considered. The need for models identified from the data gathered in a closed-loop fashion and a request for possible re-identification of the model parameters lead to the emerge of dual control where the problems of control and system identification are addressed simultaneously.In this paper, we present a new algorithm based on the persistent excitation condition when the minimal eigenvalue of the information matrix is maximized in order to have sufficiently exciting optimal control signal satisfying the control requirements.  相似文献

The influence of the volume content and the interface properties of ZrO2 particles on the overall response of a TRIP steel‐ZrO2 composite is investigated. Materials with three different zirconia contents and two different interface types, perfectly bonded and non‐cohesive, respectively, were considered, which led to six composite variants. The calulations of the material responses were performed using representative volumes of the composites and the finite element analysis (FEA). Uniaxial loading as well as biaxial loading was applied to the representative volume elements in order to study the influence of different loading conditions on the phase transformation behaviour. The results indicate that the enrichment of the TRIP steel with zirconia particles leads to a significant strengthening effect in both uniaxial and biaxial loading provided the interface has cohesive properties. Regarding the non‐cohesive interface, a performance improvement could not be found compared to the pure TRIP steel because of the impossibility of transferring tensile stresses into the zirconia inclusions.  相似文献
