The hydrodynamic conditions in tubular filter cells operating under nonisothermal conditions are studied. The equations of mechanics of heterogeneous media are used to describe the separation process of two-phase suspensions, which are written and simplified in the cylindrical coordinate system taking into account characteristics of the flow. The challenge is solved semi-analytically. Using the methods of surfaces of equal consumptions and Slezkin, numerical calculations on the constructed mathematical model are presented for particular implementations of the separation process.  相似文献

The densities of oleic acid were measured over the temperature range from (293 to 459) K at atmospheric pressure using a densimeter based on the modified hydrostatic weighing method. The dynamic viscosities of the same oleic acid sample were measured using a capillary viscometer (VPZ-2 m) in the range from (293 to 363) K at atmospheric pressure. The combined expanded uncertainty of the density, atmospheric pressure, viscosity, and temperature measurements at the 95% confidence level with a coverage factor of k = 2 is estimated to be 0.15%, 1.0%, 3.5%, and 15 mK, respectively. The values of uncertainty for density and viscosity include the effects of purity and calibration (total expanded uncertainty). These experimental data were used to develop wide-range correlations for the density and viscosity based on theoretically confirmed Arrhenius–Andrade and Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher (VTF) models. The value of the glass temperature ( T g= 179.78 K.) for the oleic acid was estimated using the VTF parameters derived from the present viscosity measurements. To additionally validate the reliability of the measured density data, the same oleic acid samples were measured using the pycnometric method. The present study showed that the densities measured using the modified hydrostatic weighing densimeter (HWD) agree with the values obtained using the pycnometric method within 0.09% for Sample 1 and 0.25% for Sample 2.  相似文献

In this study, an active fault‐tolerant control technique with reconfiguration against actuator/surface failures is presented. A two‐stage Kalman filter is designed in order to identify the control distribution matrix elements that correspond to the faulty actuator/surface; thus, the control reconfiguration is carried out using this identified control distribution matrix. The actuator/surface fault identification problem is solved through two jointly operating Kalman filters: the first one is for the estimation of the control distribution matrix elements that correspond to the faulty actuator/surface, and the second one is for the estimation of the state variables of the aircraft model. A structure for the active fault‐tolerant aircraft flight control system with reconfiguration against actuator/surface failures is presented. A control reconfiguration action is taken in order to keep the performance of the impaired aircraft the same as that of the unimpaired aircraft. In simulations, the nonlinear flight dynamics of an AFTI/F‐16 fighter model is considered, and the performance of the proposed actuator/surface failure identification and reconfigurable control schemes are examined for this model. In paper, we propose an unsupervised text summarization model which generates a summary by extracting salient sentences in given document(s). In particular, we model text summarization as an integer linear programming problem. One of the advantages of this model is that it can directly discover key sentences in the given document(s) and cover the main content of the original document(s). This model also guarantees that in the summary can not be multiple sentences that convey the same information. The proposed model is quite general and can also be used for single- and multi-document summarization. We implemented our model on multi-document summarization task. Experimental results on DUC2005 and DUC2007 datasets showed that our proposed approach outperforms the baseline systems.  相似文献

This paper describes singular value decomposition (SVD) aided extended Kalman filter (EKF) for nanosatellite's attitude estimation. The development of the filter kinematic/dynamic model, the measurement models of the sun sensors, and the magnetometers used to generate vector measurements are presented. Vector measurements are used in SVD for satellite attitude determination purposes. In the proposed method, EKF inputs come from SVD as the linear measurements of attitude angles and their error covariance. In this step, UD factorizes the attitude angles error covariance, forming the measurements in order to obtain the appropriate inputs for the filtering stage. Results are presented and analyzed in addition to discussion of the sub‐step, which is the UD factorization on the measurement covariance. The accuracy of the estimation results of the SVD‐aided EKF with and without UD factorization is compared for estimation performance.  相似文献

An approach to predict failure in the measurement system is developed. Proposed approach uses confidence and tolerance intervals for the innovation of Kalman filter and it is based on the criterion of overlapping these intervals whereby it allows the detection of potential failures in the system. The proposed failure prediction method is well suited to realize detection of constant shifting and slowly varied failures, such as distortion in measuring instruments and gyroscope axes shifting in navigation systems. The method is simple and permits to solve the problem of failure prediction in the measurement system under the conditions of its practical operation.  相似文献

An approach to the test of the sensor information fusion Kalman filter is proposed. It is based on the introduced statistics of mathematical expectation of the spectral norm of a normalized innovation matrix. The approach allows for simultaneous test of the mathematical expectation and the variance of innovation sequence in real time and does not require a priori information on values of the change in its statistical characteristics under faults. In this paper, we have presented an optimization approach to document summarization. The potential of optimization based document summarization models has not been well explored to date. This is partially the difficulty to formulate the criteria used for objective assessment. We modeled document summarization as the linear and nonlinear optimization problems. These models generally attempt simultaneously to balance coverage and diversity in the summary. To solve the optimization problem we developed a novel particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Experiments showed our linear and nonlinear models produce very competitive results, which significantly outperform the NIST baselines in both years. More important, although linear and nonlinear models are comparable to the top three systems S24, S15, and S12 in the DUC2006, they are even superior to the best participating system in the DUC2005.  相似文献

On the basis of density matrix equations, we theoretically investigated narrow sub-Doppler resonances in the spectral distribution of a number of atomic particles (atoms or molecules) optically excited in a metastable state in an ultrathin gas cell with the inner thickness less than or of the order of the wavelength λ ≤ 1 μm of the monochromatic light wave incident in the normal direction. Essential dependence of these resonances (on the center of the optical transition) was analyzed versus the inner thickness and transversal size of such a gas cell and also versus the intensity of the incident wave. Investigated resonances may be applied as references in high-accuracy optical frequency standards and for high precision measurements.  相似文献
