The microstructure of the oral cavity and alimentary canal of herbivorous fish Siganus rivulatus collected from the Red Sea were investigated by using scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results showed that S. rivulatus has three types of teeth, tri‐cusped, bi‐cusped, and papilliform. A taste bud (Type I) was recorded in the oropharyngeal cavity. Characteristic styles of microridges on the cell's surface inside the buccal cavity were recorded. Also, the distribution of the mucous cells in the lining of the mouth cavity, alimentary canal was observed. Mucosal folds along the distinct parts of alimentary canal, showed characteristic pattern which was complex in the intestinal mucosa. The results concluded that there are characteristic microstructures according to feeding habitat compared with other bony fishes.  相似文献

A disadvantage of selective laser melting (SLM) processes for the manufacture of large parts is their slow build time per unit volume. A hybrid route is to generate core simple shapes traditionally, for example by machining, followed by adding final features by SLM. Here the mechanical integrity of such hybrid parts is studied, choosing the building of AlSi10Mg by SLM on a machined AA6082 base, in the shape of a tensile test piece, as a simple example. These materials are chosen for their relevance to lightweight parts. As-built parts fail at the SLM/machined interface but standard heat treatments transfer failures to the machined material. Optimised SLM processing conditions and microstructures of the SLM and interfacial regions are reported.  相似文献

The 99m Tc-pyrimidine-4,5-diamine (99m Tc-PyDA) complex was prepared. The yield under the optimum conditions (5 mg of PyDA, pH 8, 25 μg of SnCl2·2H2O) was 96 ± 3%. The complex is stable in vitro for 24 h. The complex was tested on mice as potential marker for tumor hypoxia imaging. The complex showed high tumor hypoxia uptake with the target/nontarget (T/NT) ratio as high as ~3.  相似文献

In this work, the electrogeneration of peroxodisulfate from a 1 M H2SO4 solution on boron-doped diamond microelectrodes array has been studied. The peroxodisulfate is detected at the vicinity of the boron doped diamond electrode, with the SECM probe, only when the polarization of the microarray is greater than 2.1 V versus AgCl/Ag. The main electrochemical interest of working with microarrays comes from the fact that current densities and efficiencies are comparable to those observed in the peroxodisulfate industrial production. The local Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy studies have shown that the peroxodisulfate reaction is related to a surface mediated oxidation of sulfate anions into peroxodisulfate according to a complex reactional mechanism.  相似文献

This paper presents a design for a fault diagnosis system (FDS) for tapped HV/EHV power transmission lines. These lines have two different protection zones. The proposed approach reduces the cost and the complexity of the FDS for these types of lines. The FDS consists basically of fifteen artificial neural networks (ANNs). The FDS basic objectives are mainly: (1) the detection of the system fault; (2) the localization of the faulted zone; (3) the classification of the fault type; and finally (4) the identification of the faulted phase. This FDS is structured in a three hierarchical levels. In the first level, a preprocessing unit to the input data is performed. An ANN, in the second level, is designed in order to detect and zone localize the line faults. In the third level, two zone diagnosis systems (ZDS) are designed. Each ZDS is dedicated to one zone and consists of seven parallel-cascaded ANN's. Four-parallel ANN's are designed in order to achieve the fault type classification. While, the other three cascaded ANN's are designed mainly for the selection of the faulted phase. A smoothing unit is also configured to smooth out the output response of the proposed FDS.  相似文献

This paper presents a methodology of a design optimization technique that can be useful in assessing the best configuration of a finned‐tube evaporator, using a thermoeconomic approach. The assessment has been carried out on a direct expansion finned‐tube evaporator of a vapor compression cycle for a roof‐top bus air‐conditioning (AC) system at a specified cooling capacity. The methodology has been conducted by studying the effect of some operational and geometrical design parameters for the evaporator on the entire cycle exergy destruction or irreversibility, AC system coefficient of performance (COP), and total annual cost. The heat exchangers for the bus AC system are featured by a very compact frontal area due to the stringent space limitations and structure standard for the system installation. Therefore, the current study also takes in its account the effect of the variation of the design parameters on the evaporator frontal area. The irreversibility due to heat transfer across the stream‐to‐stream temperature difference and due to frictional pressure drops is calculated as a function of the design parameters. A cost function is introduced, defined as the sum of two contributions, the investment expense of the evaporator material and the system compressor, and the operational expense of AC system that is usually driven by an auxiliary engine or coupled with the main bus engine. The optimal trade‐off between investment and operating cost is, therefore, investigated. A numerical example is discussed, in which a comparison between the commercial evaporator design and optimal design configuration has been presented in terms of the system COP and evaporator material cost. The results show that a significant improvement can be obtained for the optimal evaporator design compared with that of the commercial finned‐tube evaporator that is designed based on the conventional values of the design parameters. Corrosion behaviour of steel in acid solutions was followed in presence of cationic micells of Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTABr), n-tetradecyl-N,N,N-trimethylammonium bromide (TDTABr), n-dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DDTABr) and n-decyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTABr) using gasometry and potentiodynamic techniques. Plots of adsorption isotherms produce S- shaped curves. Surfactants were found to act as corrosion inhibitors of mixed - type, i.e., affecting the dissolution of the metal and the cathodic reaction of hydrogen evolution. Inhibitive effect of the surfactants has been shown to increase with the alkyl chain length and at concentrations above their critical micelle concentration (cmc). Corrosion kinetic empirical equation describing the relationship between the surfactants structure and their activity is introduced. The number of active sites on the metal occupied by the surfactant molecule, binding constant and change in free energy of adsorption are calculated following Temkin adsorption isotherms. All results obtained are compared to the kinetic-thermodynamic model to certify its applicability. The mode of adsorption of the surfactant molecules according to their structure is also discussed.  相似文献
