The salient and peculiar features of the oxidation of dicyclopentene and unsaturated alicyclic hydrocarbons with a medium-sized carbon ring into the corresponding epoxides have been studied. Organic hydroperoxides, aqueous hydrogen peroxide, and peracids have been used as oxidizing agents. The reactivity of the substrates in each of the oxidation processes under consideration has been estimated, and conditions providing a high epoxide yield have been chosen. The advantages and disadvantages of each process taking into account the problems of isolation of the desired product are considered. The results obtained allow the peracid method to be recommended for the synthesis of dicyclopentene epoxide as an effective and convenient for practical implementation. 相似文献

The implementation of higher shares of renewables in a global energy mix has to be accompanied by simultaneous deployment of enabling smart grid technologies (SGTs). This combination will inevitably lead to a revolutionary change in a conventional energy system, particularly, the shifting role of consumers to prosumers. But resistance may arise from such a dramatic shift, since it is associated with high uncertainty in conjunction with increasing responsibilities of all stakeholders, the urgent need of effective control, and the development of a process. To ensure the positive influence, coherent actions of all players, and appropriate treatment of the spots of resistance, the analysis of the interplay between key stakeholders has been done. The paper introduces the framework for stakeholders' analysis, applies it on the European Union (EU) example, and provides recommendations to reduce the resistance of SGTs deployment. 相似文献

1. | A method of hardening the surface of austenitic steel, which makes it possible to obtain a layer 0.4–0.7 mm thick with a hardness greater than 700 HV is developed. This method consists of diffusion saturation with carbon or carbon and nitrogen in accordance with a stepwise regime. Hardening of the layer is achieved primarily due to the segregation of special carbides during aging. |

As a result of a survey of 56 patients with chronic renal insufficiency, who undergone hemodialysis, it was established, that clinical condition of patients, biochemical and hematological blood indices as well as results of anthropometric research improve upon application of artificial balanced high-protein premixes -"Nutrinil" and "Nutrien-Nefro". Irrespective of way of administration - introperitoneal ("Nutrinil" solution) or enteral ("Nutrien-Nefro" mixture) protein-energetic insufficiency diminishes or totally disappears, body weight, fat and muscle content of the body weight, as well as indices of whole protein, albumine, lymphocytes, haemoglobin, pH approache the norm. Intraperitoneal way of administration of artificial protein premixes increase patients adherence to this procedure, though enteral way of their administration is more preferable from economic point of view. 相似文献

We present a novel paper-polymer hybrid construct for the simple automation of fundamental microfluidic operations in a lab-on-a-disc platform. The novel design, we term a paper siphon, consists of chromatographic paper strips embedded along a siphon microchannel. The paper siphon relies on two main interplaying forces to create unique valving and liquid-sampling methods in centrifugal microfluidics. At sufficiently low speeds, the inherent wicking of the paper overcomes the rotationally induced centrifugal force to drive liquids towards inwards positions of the disc. At elevated speeds, the dominant centrifugal force will extract liquid from the siphon paper strip towards the edge of the disc. Distinct modes of flow control have been developed to account for water (reagent) and more viscous plasma samples. The system functionality is demonstrated by the automation of sequential sample preparation steps in a colorimetric triglyceride assay: plasma is metered from a whole blood sample and incubated with a specific enzymatic mixture, followed by detection of triglyceride levels through (off-disc) absorbance measurements. The successful quantification of triglycerides and the simple fabrication offer attractive directions for such hybrid devices in low-cost bioanalysis. 相似文献

The possibility of immobilizing liquid radioactive wastes into polyfunctional microspherical materials of the block and powdered types is demonstrated. These materials are intended for reprocessing radioactive wastes of different compositions and make it possible to perform a multistage process of conditioning radioactive wastes under relatively mild conditions (at temperatures below 1000°C) with the conversion of water-soluble cesium and strontium compounds into water-insoluble mineral forms in the course of solid-phase transformations. Owing to the aluminosilicate composition of microspherical components of energy ashes (cenospheres), the cenospheres can serve as precursors of aluminosilicate granitoid minerals. Different techniques are proposed and conditions are experimentally determined for transforming precursors into final mineral-like materials of the predicted structure types chosen in the framework of the geoecological approach. The framework structures of aluminosilicates and phosphates thus formed can fix cesium and strontium in the crystal lattice and ensure the geochemical equilibrium between the matrix and incorporating granitoid rocks under conditions of long-term disposal. 相似文献

Cenospheres prepared using fly ashes from combustion of Kuznetskii coals are investigated by Mossbauer spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and thermodynamic analysis. It is shown that, in the composition range with an iron content of lower than 3.3 wt %, cenospheres involve nanosized crystalline phases, such as feldspars, ferrispinels, and pyroxenes. It is revealed that the outer and inner surfaces of the cenospheres are covered with 30- to 50-nm-thick nanofilms enriched in nanosized crystalline phases. The sizes of crystalline inclusions are estimated by etching the surface film in mineral acids with the formation of a nanosized porosity.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Fizika i Khimiya Stekla, N. The emergence of big data analytics (BDA) has posed opportunities as well as multiple challenges to business practitioners, who have called for research on the behavioural factors underlying BDA adoption at the individual level. The purpose of this study is to extend the information systems (IS) research on storytelling and to explore the role and characteristics of deliberate storytelling in individual‐level BDA adoption. This case study used the grounded theory approach to extract qualitative data from 24 interviews, field notes, and documentary data. The explicit contributions of the study to the literature include (a) increasing our understanding of the facilitating role of deliberate storytelling in individual‐level BDA adoption, (b) identifying four deliberate storytelling patterns and seven underlying corporate stories disseminated by organizations to influence individual behaviour, and (c) defining the core characteristics of effective deliberate storytelling. This study has multiple implications for business practitioners and demonstrates how deliberate storytelling can be used as a facilitating mechanism in daily business practice. 相似文献
