This study describes the characteristics of mineral wool and its applications,and also introduces the traditional process of mineral wool made from molten blast furnace(BF) slag.Compared with high energy consumption of the traditional process,the production of mineral wool by using molten BF slag will be able to take full advantage of the sensible heat of molten slag,and also reduce production costs.However,there are also further issues to resolve such as how to obtain the required amount of molten BF slag and how to make it homogeneous.Based on the physical and chemical properties of the molten BF slag,the investigation into the relationship between temperature and viscosity under different acidity coefficients of the slag and silicon mixture was conducted.Combined with the crystallization and phase diagram of slag wool,its heat resistance,water resistance,durability and corrosion resistance were analyzed.Finally,trends of the technology development are proposed. 相似文献

Ceramic fiber,a kind of furnace lining material,is widely utilized in industrial furnaces.Fiber blocks can be made into various shapes.They have advantages of low thermal conductivity,low density and light weight for the development of industrial furnaces.This paper,taking a continuous annealing furnace as an example,describes the application of ceramic fiber blocks in the furnace and the installation methods.The temperatures of the furnace wall with different linings are analyzed.In the furnace design or the renovation of the existing furnaces,lining with ceramic fiber blocks is the preferred solution. 相似文献

通过对侵蚀残砖的显微边界形貌研究发现 :耐火材料的抗侵蚀性能和基于显微边界形貌分形特征的分形维数存在良好的线性关系。根据分形维数的定义和含义 ,作者提出了一种基于分形理论的耐火材料侵蚀维数Rf (Refractoryfractal)的概念和抗侵蚀分类建议。根据耐火材料的使用经验和实绩而定义的Rf =[1.0 ,1.0~ 1.15 ,1.15~ 1.2 0 ,≥ 1.2 ]数值范围 ,可以用于耐火材料抗侵蚀性能的评判、分类 ,并且可用于设计选型和编制相对应的耐火材料的残余安全厚度的日常维护规程等 相似文献

The dephosphorization experiments of low phosphorus containing steel by CaO-based and BaO-based fluxes were carried out. The effects of the oxygen potential in molten steel and the BaO content in the slag on dephosphorization and rephosphorization of molten steel were analyzed. The results showed that the dephosphorization ratio of more than 50% and the ultra-low phosphorus content of less than 0.005% in steel were obtained by the three kinds of dephosphorization fluxes as the oxygen potential of molten steel higher than 400×10-6. Rephosphorization of molten steel was serious as the oxygen content of molten steel lower than 10×10-6. BaO-based fluxes can improve the dephosphorization effect and reduce the phosphorus pick-up effectively under the condition of weak deoxidization of molten steel (the oxygen potential is about 100×10-6), but can not prevent rephosphorization under the condi- tion of deep deoxidization of molten steel (the oxygen potential less than 10×10-6). 相似文献
