The thermal energy storage unit in the form of the ceiling panel made of the gypsum‐microencapsulated phase change material composite with internal U‐shaped channels was optimised applying previously developed 1D‐3D numerical simulator. Calculations were carried out for variable inlet velocities of air, different properties of the composite expressed by enthalpy‐temperature curves, and summer climatic conditions in Central Poland (Warsaw). Optimal working temperature ranges of the composite were determined. Moreover, studies showed that for Central Poland, composites with wide ranges of the working temperature are preferred due to significant daily variations of ambient temperature during the whole summer.  相似文献

Computations of thermodynamic equilibrium conditions for depositing carbon in various crystallographic forms are carried out for C-H-O reformates from methane and LPG. Selected examples of reactions accompanying oxidation or thermal decomposition of C1 to C4 hydrocarbons are presented, followed by theoretical fundamentals for chemical equilibrium. Table values of the standard chemical potential of the reactants are cited along with respective reaction equilibrium constants. Thermodynamic critical conditions for deposition of several carbon allotropes from gaseous reformates originated from partial oxidation with either air or pure oxygen are also quantified. Computation results are presented graphically in terms of the oxygen-to-carbon ratio, O/C, against temperature for varied pressure and oxidant. Zones of either carbon deposition or carbon-free are specified for graphite or one of the two carbon nanotubes, CNTs. The maximum effect of increase in the critical O/C for a CNT against pure graphite is estimated at 85%.  相似文献

Hydroxyapatite (HA, Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) is a bioactive material being frequently used as a coating onto implants. The typical coating technology is air plasma spraying with the use of coarse powder. The resulting coatings are relatively thick (about 200-400 µm) and porous. Much thinner coatings being 5-40 µm thick, can be obtained by emerging technology of suspension plasma spraying with the use of powder particles having the diameters ranging from a few submicrometers to a few micrometers. The paper describes the way of synthesizing and preparing such fine powder starting from an aqueous solution of ammonium phosphate (H2(PO4)NH4) and calcium nitrate (Ca(NO3)·4H2O) using statistical design of experiments (DOE). The design was made using composite matrix including a full factorial plan, star points and 3 experiments in the centre. The crystal phases purity and the mass of powder batch were the optimized responses of the powder synthesis and the concentration of calcium ions and volume of ammonium hydroxide were the experimental variables. The synthesized material was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The powder was calcined and crushed using a milling machine with zirconia balls and resulting morphology and size of fine particles was characterized using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and laser sizer correspondingly. The powder was then formulated into water and alcohol based suspension and the zeta potential was determined to understand its capacity of agglomeration. It was found out that the formulation of the suspension with the use of ethanol slightly favours dispersion of solid particles in the suspension. The initial tests of water based suspension plasma spraying onto titanium substrate were also carried out and the XRD phase analysis of obtained coatings was carried out the presence of HA and its phases of decomposition.  相似文献

The effects of α and β phase interactions on the tensile and creep deformation behavior of β titanium alloys was studied using Ti-6.0wt.% Mn and Ti-8.1wt.%V as the model two-phase alloys, and Ti-13.0wt.%Mn and Ti-14.8wt.%V as the single-phase β alloys. The β phase of α-βTi-8.1V deforms by stress-induced hexagonal martensite (α′), while slip and twinning occurs in the single-phase β alloy with the same chemistry as the β phase. No stress-induced martensite was observed in the β or α-βTi-Mn alloys. This behavior is modeled in terms of a number of factors, including elastic interaction stresses between the α and β phases, coherency between the α phase and hexagonal martensite, and β phase stability. A high density Langmuir probe array has been developed for measurements of scrape-off layer parameters in NSTX. Relevant scale lengths for heat and particle fluxes are 1-5 cm. Transient edge plasma events can occur on a time scale of several milliseconds, and the duration of a typical plasma discharge is ~1?s. The array consists of 99 individual electrodes arranged in three parallel radial rows to allow both swept and triple-probe operation and is mounted in a carbon tile located in the lower outer divertor of NSTX between two segments of the newly installed liquid lithium divertor. Initial swept probe results tracking the outer strike point through probe flux measurements are presented.  相似文献

The effects of α and β phase interactions on the room-temperature tensile and creep deformation behavior of α + β titanium alloys with Widmanst?tten microstructures were studied using Ti-6.0 wt pct Mn and Ti-8.1 wt pct V as the model two-phase alloy systems. This article, Part I, deals with tensile deformation. It was found that when the α phase is present as thin (<10-μm) plates in the α + β alloys, significant twinning occurs. No significant twinning was observed in single-phase alloys with the same chemistry and similar grain size. Additionally, the β phase of Ti-8.1 V deforms by stress-induced hexagonal martensite (α′), while only twinning occurs in the single-phase β alloy with the same chemistry. Twinning in the α phase in association with stress-induced martensite (SIM) in the β phase was observed for the first time in a two-phase titanium alloy. This behavior is explained in terms of a number of factors including elastic interaction stresses between the α and β phases, coherency between the α phase and hexagonal martensite, and β phase stability.  相似文献
