Strain-mediated coupling between the magnetic and electrically ordered phases plays a significant role in magnetoelectric (ME) nano-composites. This study explores a method to analyse and quantify interfacial strain using a grazing angle scan (α) in a ME composite optimised for a specific microstructure. The details of strain around the interface CoFe2O4 (CFO) – 0.93Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 – 0.07BaTiO3 (NBT-BT) was determined by performing ‘α’ scan, in order to gather information at various depths of the NBT-BT layer around maximum intensity (110) reflection. The strain around the interface was observed to dominate over a spatial region of ~20–30 nm away from the interface. The Piezoresponse force microscopy (PFM) studies performed near the interface reveal that the strain constrain experienced by the ferroelectric layer operates such that polarisation rotation and domain wall motion are constrained compared to the strain relaxed region of the film. For effective strain transfer, heterostructures grown with optimised thicknesses (~20–30 nm) exhibited a superior inverse piezomagnetic effect.  相似文献

In this study, the synthesis and luminescence characterization of Samarium (Sm3+) doped lithium metasilicate (Li2SiO3) phosphor ceramic were investigated. It was presented and discussed the results obtained on the luminescence and other optical studies such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical absorption and luminescence properties of Li2SiO3:Sm3+ phosphor ceramic. The Li2SiO3 compound was shown a characteristic phase in XRD. The doping in the lithium compound was not having a significant effect on the basic crystal structure of the material. The maximum photoluminescence (PL) emission for Sm3+ doped Li2SiO3 was observed at 554, 583, 641, 725 nm and bore resemblance to the visible region of the spectrum. The glow curves of all synthesized materials have a complex peak structure after being irradiated with a 90Sr–90Y beta source. In addition, the peak between 400 and 600 nm was seen in the radioluminescence (RL) spectrum because of a wide peak thought to be caused by silicate.  相似文献

黔北桑木场背斜位于上扬子地块黔北隆起区毕节弧形褶皱带与赤水克拉通盆地的交汇部位,属于有利的铅锌成矿区带。区内铅锌矿的赋矿层位主要有震旦系灯影组、寒武系清虚洞组、高台组及石冷水组,矿体多产于背斜核部并受断层或裂隙控制。通过对地层岩性特征、地表矿化特征、控容矿构造特征、化探异常特征、物探异常特征等进行综合研究,选择在成矿有利地段进行了工程验证,为进一步开展桑木场背斜铅锌矿深部找矿工作提供了思路。  相似文献

Through improved synthesis process, resistance reduction effect of (K0.5Bi0.5)TiO3 (KBT) doping in Y–Mn co-doped BaTiO3 (BT) lead free ceramics was investigated. By different doping methods (doping K2O, Bi2O3 and TiO2 or synthesized KBT), medium Curie temperature (around 130 °C) lead free BT ceramics were obtained with ultra-low resistivity (13.84 Ωcm) with a temperature maintaining process at 700 °C. In this contribution, effect of sintering process and doping methods is discussed in detail.  相似文献

Tricalcium silicate (C3S) and hydroxyapatite (HAp) composites were fabricated through the sol-gel process. The aim of this research is to improve the biocompatibility of C3S through HAp addition and study the potential of using this as coating materials. The composites (HAp/C3S) were characterised by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, thermal gravity-differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. The working and setting times of cement pastes were tested using Gillmore needle. Mechanical properties were examined by nanoindentation and material testing system. In vitro biocompatibility of the materials were studied by cell attachment and viability of L929 and MG-63 cells. HAp/C3S as a coating material on gelatin film were measured with the surface roughness and imaged by scanning electron microscope. With the addition of HAp, no undesirable free CaO was detected with the synthesis by the sol-gel preparation. The pH values of HAp added groups were between 7.54 and 8.76, which were much lower than pure C3S group (pH?=?11.75). For in vitro studies, the presence of HAp could effectively enhance the cell attachment and viability of both L929 and MG-63 cells grown in the extract or directly on the composites. However, the mechanical properties of the composites were impaired as compared to pure C3S. Lastly, HAp/C3S cement could be evenly coated on gelatin film. HAp is successfully demonstrated to improve C3S biocompatibility with this new composites HAp/C3S. C-75 (75% C3S and 25% HAp), in particular, has good biocompatibility, relatively high compressive strength and can be uniformly coated onto gelatin film. Thus, C-75 is a promising material for further investigation as a coating on other biopolymers.  相似文献

We report an experimental approach, designed based on the recent findings that domain switching in ferroelectric ceramics can be separated into three regimes during antiparallel electric field loading, to investigate the influence of domain switching process on the electrical fatigue behavior of ferroelectrics. Uniaxial compressive stress (−2 MPã -100 MPa) and thermal loading (20 °C–150 °C) were used to tune the domain switching process. Under the same loading condition, the bipolar electrical fatigue behavior of soft lead zirconate titanate ceramics was systematically characterized. The amplitude and frequency of the applied electric field are 2 kV/mm and 10 Hz, respectively. By analyzing the evolution of the domain switching process, combined with the measured polarization and strain response, as well as the cracks observed on the surface of the specimen, it is found that the fatigue of ferroelectric ceramics was mainly related to the domain switching process near the coercive electric field: the regime 2 defined in this paper. The underlying mechanism was further discussed by considering the interplay between the domain switching process with the main factors affecting the electrical fatigue of ferroelectrics, namely defect redistribution, charge carrier injection, and crack initiation.  相似文献

不同粒径改性粉煤灰对磷酸根吸附性能的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
废水排放过量的磷导致水体污染日益严重,将粉煤灰通过化学改性制备成了水化硅酸钙吸附剂,研究了改性吸附剂对磷酸根的吸附效果。利用XRD, SEM及BET比表面积等手段对粒度分级前后的吸附剂进行表征,研究不同粒级吸附剂对磷酸根的吸附性能,并考察其吸附机理。结果表明,不同粒级的吸附剂其化学成分出现了明显的偏析现象,孔隙结构也差异显著。相比其他粒径下的吸附剂颗粒,颗粒粒径在50?75 μm时,吸附剂中钙和硅含量较多,铝、铁和镁含量较低,水化硅酸钙组分含量最高,且伴有含铝的托贝莫来石晶体出现,钙离子的增加使其可以与更多的磷酸根结合形成沉淀。同时此粒径下具有较高的比表面积及孔隙度,疏松多孔的结构为钙离子提供更多活性位点。当使用粒径在50?75 μm的吸附剂吸附磷酸根时,磷的饱和吸附量可达到17.1 mg/g,比未分级的吸附剂高19.58%。  相似文献

The PbClxS1-x and Pb1-xBixS (x? =?0–0.05) bulks were fabricated with a facile method of hydrothermal synthesis and microwave sintering, and the effect of anionic and cationic donors on the thermoelectric performance of PbS was investigated. Although Cl? and Bi3+ both effectively improved the thermoelectric properties of n-type PbS, more excellent thermoelectric performance was obtained from Cl? doped samples because of higher electrical property and lower thermal conductivity at higher temperature (T? >?600?K). The thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT) reaches 1.04 for PbCl0.015S0.985 at 800?K and increases with temperature increasing without sign of saturation, which is probably the highest value ever reported for single-phase polycrystalline n-type PbS. The results also indicate that the hydrothermal synthesis and microwave sintering can realize anion doping as well as cation doping for n-type PbS at low cost, and PbS should be a robust alternative for PbTe thermoelectric materials.  相似文献

为了探讨荷花山铅锌矿控矿因素上与铜陵地区其它矿床异同,运用宏、微观相结合,地质观察研究同位素地球化学以及流体包裹体分析相结合的方法,通过地层岩性、地质构造、特定地质体及成矿流体的来源和性质等几个方面与成矿关系的比较,揭示了这种新类型矿床的控矿因素的特点是与岩浆关系不密切的低温热液、角砾岩控矿。得出了这种新类型矿床既具有铜陵地区其它矿床的控矿因素,同时也具有自己独特的控矿因素的结论。  相似文献

Calcium silicate ceramics have received significant attention for biomedical applications for their excellent bioactivity and osteoconduction properties. Sol-gel process is extensively used for the fabrication of calcium silicates. In sol-gel process, calcium nitrate tetra hydrate (Ca(NO3)2·4H2O) and tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) are used as precursors. However, these precursors are expensive. The objective of this work was to compare in vitro behavior of calcium silicate (CaSiO3) produced using biowaste such as rice husk ash (RHA) and eggshells (coded; NCS) with CaSiO3 prepared using TEOS and Ca(NO3)2·4H2O (coded; CCS). Thermal investigation results revealed that the crystallization temperature for NCS is relatively lower (772°C) than for CCS (870°C). Bioactivity was studied in vitro using simulated body fluid (SBF) with respect to mineralization rate of hydroxyapatite. Mineralization of a greater hydroxyapatite was observed on NCS ceramics than CCS ceramics after incubation for 3, 7, 14 days in SBF solution, which was confirmed using X-ray diffractometer, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy. Degradation studies were conducted in Tris-HCl solution and the test results revealed that NCS ceramics has lower dissolution rate than CCS ceramics. The antimicrobial assay has shown that NCS samples exhibit significant zone of inhibition against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus which confirmed that the CaSiO3 prepared from RHA and eggshell can prevent bacteria from adhering to the surface. In addition cell culture studies revealed that NCS ceramics possess good cytocompatibility with MG-63 cells and significantly promoted cell proliferation.  相似文献
