美国在页岩气开发技术方面走在世界前列,已探索出水平井加多段压裂技术、清水压裂技术和同步压裂技术等先进的开采技术。到2030年,美国以页岩气为代表的非常规气产量将超过3681×108m3,占其天然气总产量的一半以上。中国主要盆地和地区的页岩气资源量约为（15～30）×1012m3,与美国主要盆地和地区28.3×1012m3的资源量大致相当,经济价值巨大。我国页岩气资源勘探刚起步,经验匮乏,制约着我国页岩气产业的发展,应加快技术研发和与国外的合作以及引进技术的步伐。
