Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is an upcoming standard in Korea used to provide mobile multimedia broadcasting service based on the Eureka‐147 Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) system. The current dominant multimedia coding standard, MPEG‐4, is foreseen to play an important role in forthcoming DMB services. However, the current approaches for transporting MPEG‐4 content over DMB networks are not optimized. To address this issue we propose a novel MPEG‐4 stream multiplexer, called M4SMux, which provides better stream multiplexing and delivery over DMB networks. M4SMux features an MPEG‐4 elementary‐stream interleaving mechanism that reduces the multiplexing overhead and a multiplex configuration mechanism that utilizes M4SLinkTable for easy content access. In addition, we propose an error correction method which enhances transport efficiency.  相似文献

This letter introduces an efficient transmission of traffic information through a terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting system, which is a multimedia and mobility empowered option of the European digital audio broadcasting system. 详细介绍了SH-Mobile处理器和全球主要DMB标准,设计和开发了一个面向ISDB-T标准的DMB播放器。播放器的硬件部分由射频模组和基带电路2个部分构成,可以接收ISDB-T(1 segment)频段下的射频信号及播放SD卡的存诸内容,具有抗干扰能力强、信号稳定、功耗小且播放流畅的优点,有效地实现了手持数字电视的功能。  相似文献

Mobile TV service, which provides television-like content through a mobile device, holds a limelight as the next killer application of wireless technologies and also as a prospective hedonic information technology. However, in a world where other potential wireless technologies and services speedily emerge, vendors and service providers interested in mobile TV hope that it will be diffused over the gulf between early users to general ones prior to competing sprouts. At this point, an investigation of early consumers’ adoption of mobile TV may offer precious information for its survival. Based on the theoretical assumptions of the technology acceptance model (TAM), this study examines influences of cognitive concentration (or flow experience) and media content on consumers’ acceptance of mobile TV. The results are threefold. First, results suggest that cognitive concentration (or flow experience) and content have a significant role in consumers’ intention to use hedonic information technology. Second, results show that content has a critical impact on cognitive concentration. Finally, results support the use of the extended TAM as an explainer in the context of hedonic information technology.  相似文献

针对H.264信源编码器与DMB系统接口速率匹配问题,设计并实现了一种支持码率平滑的ARM嵌入式H.264视频编码系统。为满足码率平滑需要,缓冲器设计采用了灵活、可配置的块式环状缓冲结构。通过充分利用ARM平台的RAM资源,有效节约了总体系统成本。实测结果表明,该系统输出码流速率平稳,对信道端系统的输入缓冲区的容量要求显著降低。该系统具有丢帧率低,延时小的特点,达到了预期设计目标。  相似文献

We introduce an advanced terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (AT‐DMB) system that overcomes the limitation of data transmission rates of T‐DMB by doubling it with the same frequency bandwidth. In this letter, we propose an efficient algorithm which generates a scalable transport stream in AT‐DMB by multiplexing certain types of elementary streams encoded using scalable video coding and an MPEG‐surround audio coder for high‐quality multimedia services.  相似文献

Land application of municipal biosolids can be a source of environmental contamination by pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs). This study examined PPCP concentrations/temporally discrete mass loads in agricultural tile drainage systems where two applications of biosolids had previously taken place. The field plots received liquid municipal biosolids (LMB) in the fall of 2005 at an application rate of ∼ 93,500 L ha− 1, and a second land application was conducted using dewatered municipal biosolids (DMB) applied at a rate of ∼ 8 Mt dw ha− 1 in the summer of 2006. The DMB land application treatments consisted of direct injection (DI) of the DMB beneath the soil surface at a nominal depth of ∼ 0.11 m, and surface spreading (SS) plus subsequent tillage incorporation of DMB in the topsoil (∼ 0.10 m depth). The PPCPs examined included eight pharmaceuticals (acetaminophen, fluoxetine, ibuprofen, gemfibrozil, naproxen, carbamazepine, atenolol, sulfamethoxazole), the nicotine metabolite cotinine, and two antibacterial personal care products triclosan and triclocarban. Residues of naproxen, cotinine, atenolol and triclosan originating from the fall 2005 LMB application were detected in tile water nearly nine months after application (triclocarban was not measured in 2005). There were no significant differences (p > 0.05) in PPCP mass loads among the two DMB land application treatments (i.e., SS vs. DI); although, average PPCP mass loads late in the study season (> 100 days after application) were consistently higher for the DI treatment relative to the SS treatment. While the concentration of triclosan (∼ 14,000 ng g− 1 dw) in DMB was about twice that of triclocarban (∼ 8000 ng g− 1 dw), the average tile water concentrations for triclosan were much higher (43 ± 5 ng L− 1) than they were for triclocarban (0.73 ± 0.14 ng L− 1). Triclosan concentrations (maximum observed in 2006 ∼ 235 ng L− 1) in tile water resulting from land applications may warrant attention from a toxicological perspective.  相似文献
