Smart card technology has evolved over the last few years following notable improvements in the underlying hardware and software platforms. Advanced smart card microprocessors, along with robust smart card operating systems and platforms, contribute towards a broader acceptance of the technology. These improvements have eliminated some of the traditional smart card security concerns. However, researchers and hackers are constantly looking for new issues and vulnerabilities. In this article we provide a brief overview of the main smart card attack categories and their corresponding countermeasures. We also provide examples of well-documented attacks on systems that use smart card technology (e.g. satellite TV, EMV, proximity identification) in an attempt to highlight the importance of the security of the overall system rather than just the smart card. 相似文献

研究在电磁振荡作用下,金属超薄板坯水平连铸的凝固组织及其与电流强度的关系。结果显示,在静磁场和交流电正交所产生的电磁振荡力的作用下,水平连铸纯Sn超薄板坯的凝固组织明显细化,且细化效果随所施电流的增大而增强;而对Sn-10%Pb合金超薄板坯,则显著地促进其等轴晶组织的形成,使其中心层面出现等轴晶区,该等轴晶层的厚度随电流强度增大而增加。实验结果表明,电磁振荡作用有利于抑制柱状晶对穿、中心疏松、夹杂和/或气体聚集、以及偏析等超薄板坯水平连铸中常见的凝固缺陷。 相似文献

EMV is the leading and widely used international standard for payment with smart cards. The EMV specification defines a highly configurable toolkit for payment protocols, which allows different combinations of card authentication, cardholder authentication and transaction authorization. Due to its complexity and its flexibility, it is difficult to comprehensively analyze the security of EMV standard, yet it is critical to obtain practical security guarantees for EMV. In this paper, we present the first systematic and formal treatment of EMV protocol. We introduce a three-party security model, covering all known kinds of combinations and providing reasonably strong security notions. Furthermore, via a modular approach, we prove that the EMV protocol with reasonable improvement can achieve our desired security. Electromagnetic valve (EMV) actuation system is a new technology for improving fuel efficiency and at the same time reducing
emissions in internal combustion engines. It can provide more flexibility in valve event control compared with conventional
variable valve actuation devices. The electromagnetic valve actuator must be designed by taking the operating conditions and
engine geometry limits of the internal combustion engine into account. To help develop a simple design method, this paper
presents a procedure for determine the basic design parameters and dimensions of the actuator from the relations of the valve
dynamics, electromagnetic circuit and thermal loading condition based on the lumped method. To verify the accuracy of the
lumped method analysis, experimental study is also carried out on a prototype actuator. It is found that there is a relatively
good agreement between the experimental data and the results of the proposed design procedure. Through the whole speed range,
the actuator maintains proper performances in valve timing and event control. 相似文献
