Efficient liquefaction of hydrogen is a crucial part for the large-scale storage and long-distance transportation of hydrogen. Helium Brayton cycle based on high-speed turbo-expanders has been widely employed in small and medium hydrogen liquefiers. In present study, a coupled model is proposed to predict the performance and cooling-down process of helium turbo-expanders with brake blower, and validation experiments were performed on a helium turbo-expander of a 2 t/d hydrogen liquefier. Experimental results indicated that the characteristic ratio of expander varied significantly during the cooling-down process which led to a large deviation from the optimal efficiency. The impact of brake pressure on the characteristic ratio and efficiency of the helium turbo-expander is studied, and a variable pressure control method is proposed for the efficient operation of turbo-expanders during the cooling-down process of a hydrogen liquefier. Compared with the constant brake pressure control method, the variable pressure control method can increase the expander efficiency by 5%–10% during the cooling-down process in the high temperature zone.  相似文献

针对当前柴油机废气再循环冷却控制系统受到时滞问题影响,导致系统开度走势与设定走势不一致、废气再循环效果差的问题,提出基于自适应LS-SVM的柴油机废气再循环冷却控制系统;以AT89C51单片机40针作为电控单元核心部件,利用位置传感器向系统发送负载信号,利用温度传感器来传输信号并反馈至D/A转换器;在D/A转换器中,反馈信号以串行或并行方式进入寄存器,并在转换后输出电流电压,控制系统阀门在排气再循环时的开启;伺服泵采用冷却系统,为系统提供液压动力源;利用自适应LS-SVM原理计算柴油机废气再循环冷却控制目标边界值,在最小二乘支持向量机基础上,利用求解线性方程组进行优化,消除了控制误差;根据控制差的大小,调整控制系统的输出值;由试验结果可知,该系统开度走势与设定开度走势一致,且与设定开度误差为1开度,说明使用该系统具有良好稳态特性,有效克服了系统中时滞问题,废气再循环效果较好。  相似文献

The thermal management of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is crucial for fuel cell vehicles. This paper presents a new simulation model for the water-cooled PEMFC stacks for automotive vehicles and cooling systems. The cooling system model considers both the cooling of the stack and cooling of the compressed air through the intercooler. Theoretical analysis was carried out to calculate the heat dissipation requirements for the cooling system. The case study results show that more than 99.0% of heat dissipation requirement is for thermal management of the PEMFC stack; more than 98.5% of cooling water will be distributed to the stack cooling loop. It is also demonstrated that controlling cooling water flow rate and stack inlet cooling water temperature could effectively satisfy thermal management constraints. These thermal management constraints are differences in stack inlet and outlet cooling water temperature, stack temperature, fan power consumption, and pump power consumption.  相似文献

浇铸过程中,驱动力报警会导致紧急停浇甚至滞坯事故发生。为防止事故发生,通常采用降速、强冷等措施,但降速造成成本浪费,强冷又产生裂纹等质量缺陷,两者都难以满足生产需要。通过对铸机的各项参数对比分析,找到影响驱动力报警的主要原因为辊缝异常,轻压下模型参数、冷却工艺设置不合理等,通过调整二冷工艺、优化模型参数、加强轻压下区域扇形段辊缝维护,可以达到明显降低驱动力、消除报警的目的,从而保证连铸生产稳定。  相似文献

Storage time and temperature are known to be important factors in determining Salmonella growth in table eggs. It is assumed that growth of Salmonella within eggs starts when the egg yolk membrane breaks down, allowing Salmonella to enter and grow. The length of time for which the yolk membrane remains intact is time and temperature dependent.The present study addresses the question whether the current legal requirement in Germany to cool table eggs marketed 18 days after laying needs to be updated. Detailed data on the current storage and transport conditions in Germany were collected. On the basis of these data, typical combinations of temperature and time were selected. For these different time-temperature scenarios, the consequences regarding the probability of growth of Salmonella Enteritidis inside the eggs were calculated. A probabilistic model consisting of nine modules reflecting storage/transport stages from farm to retail in Germany was used to calculate whether the yolk membrane remains intact during the individual steps. Growth of Salmonella was simulated without cooling (room temperature) as well as with two different cooling scenarios (4–6 °C and 8–12 °C), which are temperature ranges used in Germany by various retailers. Simulations of these scenarios resulted in relative low numbers of eggs with Salmonella growth until purchase (89 out of 50,000 eggs in the uncooled scenario, 10 out of 50,000 eggs stored at 8–12 °C and 5 out of 50,000 eggs stored at 4–6 °C). These results show that for an average egg trading time of 7.5 days, as was observed for Germany, the probability for the consumer to purchase eggs where no Salmonella growth has started and yolk membrane integrity still exists is high. However, the model supports the necessity for egg cooling after the yolk membrane integrity time is exhausted. Furthermore, the model shows clearly that cooling will extend the time period before the egg yolk membrane breaks down. According to our results, the requirement to cool eggs from the 18th day onwards after laying, as required by legislation in Germany, is reasonable, as it matches the time point of the yolk membrane breakdown for the average egg kept at 18–20 °C. Therefore, continuation of this regulation is strongly supported.  相似文献

New fused cast refractories with a high content of zirconia have been developed to face corrosion in glass furnaces. The controlled cooling process is responsible for thermal gradients. So, thermal mismatches appear between core and edge zones of blocks. Besides, the multiphasic nature of ZrO2 based refractories is associated to thermal mismatches during cooling. Finally, the expansive transformation of ZrO2 can lead to stress generation.This paper is an application of neutron diffraction to study texture generated during the cooling process of zirconia based materials. In fact, it is shown that ZrO2 crystallographic variants have particular crystallographic texture regarding the main direction of the thermal gradient in the block. It was hypothesized that a selection of crystallographic variants could be done depending on the field stress. Tensile-compressive tests at high temperature have been done, to reproduce stress environment during the transformation of zirconia.  相似文献

This paper reports on an analytical investigation into the energy saving potential associated with modified comfort limits in transitional spaces in buildings. Such spaces may not require the same high level and close environmental control of more fully occupied spaces and thus a wider variation in conditions and interpretation of thermal comfort may be permitted. Estimations are made of energy saving potential based upon typical floor area proportions utilised for transition spaces of various types in office/commercial buildings. The data are combined with suggested norms for comfort expectation that have wider temperature limits than for normally occupied office zones. The method has been applied to a series of building types situated in the climate of the East Pennines area of the UK using a thermal analysis tool. The results show that useful energy savings (particularly for heating) are possible by allowing for a modest (and realistic) relaxation of prescribed comfort standards in transition spaces. Further work is now required to confirm the limits and assess energy saving in practice.  相似文献
