In this study, two types of convolutional neural network (CNN) classifiers are designed to handle the problem of classifying black plastic wastes. In particular, the black plastic wastes have the property of absorbing laser light coming from spectrometer. Therefore, the classification of black plastic wastes remains still a challenging problem compared to classifying other colored plastic wastes using existing spectroscopy (i.e., NIR). When it comes the classification problem of black plastic wastes, effective classification techniques by the laser spectroscopy of Fourier Transform-Infrared Radiation (FT-IR) with Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) and Raman to analyze the classification problem of black plastic wastes are introduced. Due to the strong ability of extracting spatial features and remarkable performance in image classification, 1D and 2D CNN through data features are designed as classifiers. The technique of chemical peak points selection is considered to reduce data redundancy. Furthermore, through the selection of data features based on the extracted 1D data with peak points is introduced. Experimental results demonstrate that 2DCNN classifier designed with the help of 2D data feature selection as well as 1DCNN classifier shows the best performance compared with other reported methods for classifying black plastic wastes. 相似文献

DNA damaging agents such as ionizing radiation or chemotherapy are frequently used in oncology. DNA damage response (DDR)—triggered by radiation-induced double strand breaks—is orchestrated mainly by three Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-related kinases (PIKKs): Ataxia teleangiectasia mutated (ATM), DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) and ATM and Rad3-related kinase (ATR). Their activation promotes cell-cycle arrest and facilitates DNA damage repair, resulting in radioresistance. Recently developed specific ATR inhibitor, VE-821 (3-amino-6-(4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)-N-phenylpyrazine-2-carboxamide), has been reported to have a significant radio- and chemo-sensitizing effect delimited to cancer cells (largely p53-deficient) without affecting normal cells. In this study, we employed SILAC-based quantitative phosphoproteomics to describe the mechanism of the radiosensitizing effect of VE-821 in human promyelocytic leukemic cells HL-60 (p53-negative). Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC)-prefractionation with TiO2-enrichment and nano-liquid chromatography—tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis revealed 9834 phosphorylation sites. Proteins with differentially up-/down-regulated phosphorylation were mostly localized in the nucleus and were involved in cellular processes such as DDR, all phases of the cell cycle, and cell division. Moreover, sequence motif analysis revealed significant changes in the activities of kinases involved in these processes. Taken together, our data indicates that ATR kinase has multiple roles in response to DNA damage throughout the cell cycle and that its inhibitor VE-821 is a potent radiosensitizing agent for p53-negative HL-60 cells. 相似文献

This paper proposes a methodology to improve the sustainability of industrial processes combining two tools: BAT Analysis and process simulation. Both tools are jointly applied to identify the IF of the analyzed process, so that the most appropriate candidate techniques from an inventory can be selected. The selected alternatives are tested in different scenarios that are evaluated using simulation, which would determine the configuration that best improves the sustainability of the process. The combination of both tools in an integrated methodology will help decision makers to select the most sustainable configuration for a given process. The methodology is validated in a case study: a hydrogen production plant. After analysing several scenarios where different candidate techniques are implemented, results show that the IF identified can be highly improved when the appropriate combination of BAT is applied. 相似文献

The development work carried out on Fugen NPP is focused on detection of a small leakage on the reactor's inlet feeder pipes at an early stage by an acoustic leak detection method with usage of high-temperature resistant microphones. Specifically, the leak rate of 0.046 m3/h has been chosen as a target detection capability for this system. A cross-correlation technique has been studied for leak detection under low signal-noise ratios. The study shows that the sound diffusion on piping causes distortion of leak signals that results in their low correlation. A leak-location estimator and multi-channel correlation value, associated with estimated leak position, have been employed to detect such low-correlated leak signals. A method based on cross-correlation of signal spectral components has been proposed to deal with non-stationary leak signals. Joint-Time-Frequency-Analysis has been applied to analyze such signals, whilst a Wavelet decomposition technique has been used to extract their short-term spectral fluctuations. Since the spectral components are less affected by signal distortion, they provide higher correlation value and can be applied for leak detection under lower signal-noise ratios. The possibility of detecting and locating a small leakage by the methods proposed has been demonstrated by a number of simulation tests conducted on the Fugen NPP site. 相似文献

ATR, a DNA damage signaling kinase, is required for cell cycle checkpoint regulation and detecting DNA damage caused by genotoxic factors including Al3+ ions. We analyzed the function of the HvATR gene in response to chemical clastogen-maleic acid hydrazide (MH). For this purpose, the Al-tolerant barley TILLING mutant hvatr.g was used. We described the effects of MH on the nuclear genome of hvatr.g mutant and its WT parent cv. “Sebastian”, showing that the genotoxic effect measured by TUNEL test and frequency of cells with micronuclei was much stronger in hvatr.g than in WT. MH caused a significant decrease in the mitotic activity of root cells in both genotypes, however this effect was significantly stronger in “Sebastian”. The impact of MH on the roots cell cycle, analyzed using flow cytometry, showed no differences between the mutant and WT. 相似文献

Sodium carboxymethylcellulose/poly (vinyl alcohol) mixed matrix membranes filled with different amounts 4A zeolite (0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 wt %) were prepared by solution casting method. Prepared membranes were crosslinked with GA and used for pervaporation dehydration of isopropyl alcohol of different feed mixtures at 35°C. On increment in zeolite content in the membrane it was found the improvement in the performance of the membrane, due to its hydrophilic nature and molecular sieving effect in addition to its favorable interaction with hydrophilic sodium carboxymethylcellulose and polyvinyl alcohol. The structure and chemical constituents of the MMM's were investigated by attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Thermal stability of the membranes was assessed by DSC and TGA techniques. Crystallinity of the membranes was assessed using X‐ray diffraction, and the morphological properties were assessed by scanning electron microscopy. Mechanical properties were also carried out to determine the tensile strength and % of elongation at break using universal testing machine. It was found that the mechanical strength increases with increase in the zeolite content upto 15 wt % of zeolite with an optimum tensile strength of 113.31 N/mm2. Pervaporation was carried out to asses the membrane performance, the highest flux and selectivity obtained is 0.584 kg/m2/h and 6945 for NaCMCA20 and NaCMCA15, respectively, for a feed composition containing 17.5 and 10 wt % of water in the feed and further swelling studies also supporting the pervaporation results. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
