| Abstract: | The Architectural Department of Tongji University was formed by several architectural departments or teaching sections from different universities or colleges during the national reorganization of colleges and departments in the year 1952, one of them was the Department of Architectural Engineering of St. John's University. Here is a brief recollection of the above mentioned, of its history, its teaching teams, its idea of architecture and teaching method, and its school life as well. |
