抗菌剂迁移和抗菌聚丙烯表面亲疏水性对聚丙烯抗菌性能影响研究

摘    要:采用熔融共混法制备了γ-氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷偶联剂(KH550)改性纳米氧化锌(O-ZnO)、十八烷基三甲基氯化铵(STAC)和肉桂醛(CA)三种抗菌剂与聚丙烯(PP)的复合材料,研究并探讨了三种复合材料对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抗菌率、抗菌剂在PP中的迁移性和复合材料的表面亲疏水性三者之间的内在联系。结果表明,CA在PP中的迁移率大于STAC,易于富集在材料表面,使PP/CA复合材料对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的抗菌率接近PP/STAC复合材料,且远高于PP/O-ZnO复合材料。还进一步讨论了抗菌剂迁移和抗菌聚丙烯的亲疏水性对复合材料抗菌效果的影响,CA的亲油性使PP/CA复合材料对金黄色葡萄球菌的抗菌率高于大肠杆菌;STAC的双亲特性使PP/STAC复合材料对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌均具有良好的抗菌效果。因此,抗菌剂迁移性和亲疏水性是影响复合材料抗菌效果的重要因素。

Abstract:Antibacterial polypropylene composites were prepared by melting polypropylene(PP) with three different antimicrobial agents including the inorganic antibacterial agent ZnO treated by 3-(2-Aminoethylamino) propyltriethoxysilane(O-ZnO),octadecyl trimethylammonium chloride(STAC) and cinnamaldehyde(CA).The antibacterial rate of three composites against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus,the migration of antibacterial agents in PP and the surface hydrophobicity of composites were tested,and the relationship between the three was studied.The results show that the migration rate of CA in PP is higher than that of STAC,and it is easy to be enriched on the surface of the material.Thus the antibacterial rates of PP/CA composites against E.coli and S.aureus are close to that of PP/STAC composites,and much higher than that of PP/O-ZnO composites.The influence of the migration and hydrophilicity of antibacterial agents on the antibacterial effect of the composites are discussed.The lipophilicity of CA makes the antibacterial rate of PP/CA composites against 5.aureus higher than E.coli.The amphiphilicity of STAC.makes PP/STAC composites have good antibacterial effects against E.coli and 5.aureus.Therefore,the migration and hydrophilicity of the antibacterial agent are both important factors influencing the antibacterial effect of the composites.
