Abstract:In order to analyze the impact from water works on the eco-flows of their downstream channels, the impact from Nianyushan Reservoir on the eco-flow of its downstream river channel is analyzed herein by taking Nianyushan Reservoir as a case with the monthly frequency computation method for estimating the eco-water demand of the channel. The result shows that after the operation of the reservoir, the requirement of the lower limit of the suitable eco-runoff is to be damaged by the discharged flow from November to the next March and the damage probability from June to August is to be smaller. In a dry year, the less inflow is, the larger damage probability will be, moreover, the damage probability is to be is largest in March
