| 摘 要： | 本文通过回顾“新城市主义”规划理论的背景与发展以及描述我国城市交通规划的现状，分析了如何在“新城市主义”规划理论指导下，优化城市道路网系统和交通结构，实现可持续发展的城市交通规划，以满足城市交通可持续发展的要求。
