摘    要:论述了EPON(以太无源光网络)系统帧结构的特点,并分析了突发式交流耦合光接收模块的原理。详细分析了抖动、码型及保护时间对光突发接收性能的影响。针对交流耦合OLT(光线路终端)光突发接收模块设计过程中所涉及到的关键技术提出了相应的解决方案,在此基础上设计了交流耦合突发式接收模块。结果表明,所设计的光接收模块具有很高的灵敏度和较宽的动态范围,能够满足EPON系统的要求。交流耦合方法避开了直流耦合突发式光接收模块设计过程中的技术难题。在EPON系统突发应用中,该交流耦合模块可以作为一种有效而廉价的替代方案。

Abstract:The features of the frame architecture of the Ethernet Passive Optical Net(EPON)system are described. The effect of the jitter, the coding-format and the guarding-time on the performance of the burst-mode optical receiver is discussed. Corresponding solutions for the involved key technology in the process of designing an AC-coupling Optical Line Termination (OLT) burst-mode optical receiver module are presented. Based on this, an AC-coupling burst-mode receiver module is designed. The result shows that this optical receiver module has a higher sensitivity and wider dynamic range. This module can meet the need of EPON system. The method of AC-coupling avoids the technical problems in the process of designing a DC-coupling burst-mode optical receiver. In EPON burst-mode applications, this AC-coupling optical burst-mode receiver module can be used as an effective and cheap alternative.
