| Abstract: | The application of imported overexcitation protection in Shaoxing 500 kV substation is introduced. Taking overexcitation protection from ABB employed in Fengyi 500 kV No.3 transformer as an example, the paper focuses on the principle of overexcitation protection, its cooperation with overexcitation characteristic curves, its protection dead zone, and relevant debugging. |
