摘    要:由于南方电网受端系统广东电网负荷重,结构复杂,且交直流混联运行,交流故障导致多回直流同时换相失败是目前南方电网系统安全的重大威胁。针对这种情况,在500 kV东莞站±200 Mvar STATCOM成功投运的基础上,南方电网推广应用STATCOM,以确保电网安全稳定。从背景、关键技术及现场测试等方面介绍了STATCOM装置在南方电网的应用情况。

Abstract:As the receiving-end system of China Southern Power Grid ( CSG), Guangdong power grid, has the characteristics of heavy load, complex structure and hybrid AC/DC operation, it is the great threat to the whole system of CSG that Mulit-HVDC com- mutation failure would be from a failure of its AC system. Aiming at the situation, and based on the successful operation of ± 200 Mvar STATCOM in Dongguan station, CSG has promoted the application of STATCOM to ensure the security and stability of CSG. This paper introduces the application of STATCOM in CSG in terms of the background, key technologies and field tests etc.
