| Abstract: | The paper explores how to realize spatial metadata in the distributed environment on the basis of analyzing the basic characteristics of data warehouse and the mechanism of metadata. Further,the paper explores the extraction,query,update and publishing of geographic metadata information and puts forward the basic functions of metadata software. Lastly,An example of metadata Management System is briefly introduced. |
