| Abstract: | Because of its elastic behavior and softness, PTT fibers in filament yarns and staple fibers are quite suitable for woven and knitted fabrics, and the apparel made therefrom, especially where high stretch and/or soft touch are desired. Low dyeing temperature and pressure, and high stain resistance are other benefits from PTT fibers. PTT polymer is also a good candidate as a fiber in nonwoven applications. The technology development related to PTT fibers for textile end uses or applications will be shared in this presentation. |
