同频道干扰是微蜂窝结构移动通信网所要考虑的一个核心问题,要想成功地对任何一种频率再用无线系统进行规划设计,就必须很好地了解并分析研究同频道干扰对系统性能的影响。本文对具有Nakagami衰落和对数正态衰落的同频道干扰特性进行了理论分析,并提出了对微蜂窝多径衰落移动无线电系统中的同频道干扰及其影响进行预测的近似方法。 相似文献

基于码分多址接入(CDMA)的第三代移动通信系统将支持语音、视频、email,FTP,Web浏览等多种业务传输,该文提出了一种多业务蜂窝CDMA系统上行链路的干扰特性与容量的一般分析方法,考察了在不同的业务混合条件下,分别采用高斯分布与对数正态分布来近似干扰的统计特性时,系统的中断性能与容量关系。理论分析与仿真结果表明,采用对数正态分布来近似干扰的统计特性可以获得更加精确的分析结果。此外,该文还研究了阴影衰落、功率控制误差和非理想扇区天线这些实际因素对系统干扰与业务容量的影响。 相似文献

CDMA蜂窝移动通信系统是一种采用多址技术的通信系统,即采用不同的地址码来区分用户、基站和信道。然而由于其在多径衰落信道中的自相关和互相关特性的不理想造成了多址干扰。在扩频通信系统的下行链路中,有效地抵消多址干扰是进一步改善系统性能和提高系统容量的重要途径。本文提出一种应用于CDMA下行链路的干扰抵消算法,分析了下行链路接收机的实现原理及过程,并对其中的关键算法进行了详细地分析,仿真结果表明,所选取的下行接收算法能改善系统的性能。 相似文献

This paper proposes a closed-form joint space-time channel and Direction Of Arrival (DOA) blind estimation algorithm for space-thne coded Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) systems equipped with a Uniform Linear Array (ULA) at the base station in frequency-selective fading environments. The algorithm uses an ESPRIT-like method to separate multiple co-channel users with different impinging DOAs. As a result, the DOAs for multiple users are obtained. In particular, a set of signal subspaces, every one of which is spanned by the space-time vector channels of an individual user, are also obtained. From these signal subspaces, the space-time channels of multiple users are estimated using the subspace method. Computer simulations illustrate both the validity and the overall performance of the proposed scheme. 相似文献

We consider the problem of downlink traffic control in Multi-code Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) systems, which support
multiple classes of services with diverse QoS requirements. Prior solutions proposed for this problem have largely focused
on call admission control at the connection level while neglecting the stochastic behavior of mobile subscribers and channel
conditions. We quantitatively demonstrate that these statistical factors, in particular log-normal shadowing in propagation
and voice activity factors, have a significant impact on the connection-level performance. Furthermore, we show that conventional
data services can be best handled at the packet level as background transmissions by taking advantage of these statistical
variations, which leads to significantly better utilization of the scarce wireless spectrum.

Amherst in 1993. Between 1993 and 1996, he worked on high performance routers and ATM switches in IBM Networking System Division,
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Since 1996, he has been with the Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong University
of Science and Technology, where he is now an associated professor and Co-Director for the ATM/IP Cooperate Research Center,
a government sponsored research center. He also holds an adjunct researcher position at the Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA),
Beijing, China, and adjunct professorship in several universities.
His recent research interests are on adaptive video multicast, packet scheduling and dynamic routing in optical networks,
resource management in mobile wireless systems, scheduling and energy efficient routing in ad hoc networks, across layer design
for sensor networks, and content distribution and replication. He has published 150 papers and held several patents in above
areas. He has been on editorial board for 16 journals, mainly in IEEE and ACM. He has been involved in organizing over 40

This article outlines a general numerical procedure for computing the probability of outage of a cellular mobile radio system that is equipped with a smart antenna to suppress a few strongest co‐channel interferers (CCI) out of a total of NI active interferers by adaptive null‐steering. Aside from the interference‐limited case, refined outage criterion that either treat receiver noise as CCI or consider a minimum detectable receiver signal threshold are studied. Exact closed‐form expressions for both the basic and refined outage criterion are also derived by assuming that all the CCI signals are subject to Nakagami‐m fading with a positive integer fading severity index. Selected numerical examples are provided to illustrate the application of the theory which includes the investigation into the effects of fade distribution of the CCI signals and traffic loading on the outage probability, and also the study of spectrum utilization efficiency improvement using a selective co‐channel interference nulling (cancellation) technique. 针对OFDM系统中IS信道估计在噪声消除和干扰抑制上的不足,提出一种干扰抑制信道估计算法.算法利用OFDM信号的时频二维特性,在LS信道估计基础上通过3次FFT/IFFT实现信道噪声消除和窄带干扰抑制,算法复杂度低,具有较好的工程可行性.算法仿真结果表明,这种干扰抑制的信道估计性能比传统LS信道估计在多径信道下的性能提升3 dB以上,在有窄带干扰的场景下系统性能损失在1.5 dB以内. 相似文献

A novel cooperative diversity scheme based on Distributed Space-Time Block Coding and Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (DSTBC-MC-CDMA) is proposed which works well in frequency selective fading channels with multiple single-antenna users. And an analytical error model is established to describe the symbol decoding errors between interusers, based on which a close form expression for theoretical Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of the scheme is derived to analyze the influence of the interuser decoding errors on the BER performance of the scheme. Then simulation is complimented to verify the analytic result above, which also shows that the BER performance of DSTBC-MC-CDMA outgoes that of non-cooperative MC-CDMA with considerable gains. This paper presents the analysis of CDMA cellular networks with channel sub‐rating. From users' point of view, our considered scheme gives higher priority to handoff calls over new calls by sub‐rating the existing connections when handoff calls find no idle channels upon their arrivals. Therefore, it is considered that the disadvantage of the soft handoff which needs more channels than the hard handoff is made up for. Handoff calls can also wait in a queue while they are in handoff areas if all channels are sub‐rated in the cell of interest. We mathematically model this scheme by applying queueing theory. Then, we analyse its performance to derive the blocking probabilities of the new and handoff calls, the probability that handoff calls leave the handoff area without getting new channels, the degradation ratio of the voice quality by sub‐rating, mean and coefficient of variation of the waiting time of handoff calls. In numerical results, the analytical results are compared with the simulation ones to validate our analytical approach. Moreover, we compare the sub‐rating scheme with full‐rating one with respect to some characteristic values to show the effect of sub‐rating. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
