This paper introduces a novel automatic physical synthesis methodology for analog circuits based on the signal-flow analysis.Circuit analysis sub-system adopts the newly advanced methodology,circuit topology analysis,and circuit sensitivity analysis to generate layout constraints and control performance degradations.Considering the heuristic information about signalflow,complexity of the methodology is less than the pure performance-driven methodology.And then these constraints are implemented in device generation,placement,and routing sub-systems separately,which makes the different constraints be satisfied at most easily implemented stages.Excellent circuit performance obtained by the methodology is demonstrated by practical circuit examples. 相似文献

The analog VLSI technology processes are reaching the matureness, nevertheless, there is a big constraint, regarding their use on complex electronic products: the test. The Design for Testability paradigm was developed to permit the test plan implementation early in the design cycle. However to succeed onto this strategy, the fault simulation should be carried out in order to evaluate appropriate test patterns, fault grade and so forth. Consequently adequate fault models must be established. Due to the lack of fault models, suitable to fault simulation on OpAmps, we propose in this work a methodology for Functional Fault Modeling-FFM, and some methods for test generation. A fault dictionary for OpAmps is built and a procedure for compact test vector construction is proposed. The results have shown that high level OpAmp requirements, as slew-rate, common mode rejection ration etc., can be checked by this approach with good compromise between the fault modeling problem, the analog nature of the circuit and the circuit complexity by itself. 相似文献

Discrete-time chaotic circuit implementations of a tent map and a Bernoulli map using switched-current (SI) techniques are presented. The two circuits can be constructed with 16 MOSFET's and 2 capacitors. The simulations and experiments built with commercially available IC's for the circuits have demonstrated the validity of the circuit designs. The experiment results also indicate that the proposed circuits are integrable by a standard CMOS technology. The implementations are useful for studies and applications of chaos. 相似文献
