Epoxidized natural rubber (ENR)/fumed silica vulcanizates were prepared by mechanical mixing method. Fumed silica content
can affect mechanical properties of the composites, and ten parts per hundreds of rubber (phr) fumed silica lead to the best
tensile strength. The interaction between ENR and fumed silica was characterized by Kraus equation, crosslink density (tested
by NMR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA)
and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results showed that the dispersion of silica in ENR was better than in natural
rubber (NR), hydrogen bond was produced between ENR and fumed-silica in ENR/silica blends, and glass transition temperature
of ENR/silica vulcanizate was higher than pure ENR vulcanizate. TGA and DMA confirmed that there was intense interaction between

Reinforcing mechanisms of carbon nanotubes and high structure carbon black in natural rubber/styrene‐butadiene rubber blend prepared by mechanical mixing − effect of bound rubber 下载免费PDF全文
The reinforcing effect of high structure carbon black (HSCB) and multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on natural rubber/styrene‐butadiene rubber blend processed using mechanical mixing was comparatively investigated. In‐depth analysis by dynamic mechanical analysis, the Eggers ? Schummer model and Medalia's relationship showed that HSCB aggregates provided large internal pores leading to significant immobilized macromolecules in filled rubber. Additionally, a tubular immobilized rubber layer with a thickness of 8 nm was estimated for the rubber/MWCNT system based on dynamic mechanical analysis data. The mechanical performance of the HSCB filled blend was higher than that of the MWCNT filled blend at the same loading which was correlated to its higher bound rubber content. Both bound rubber content and filler anisotropy were found to govern the overall mechanical properties of rubber/MWCNT composites. Stress softening was correlated with rupture energy suggesting hysteretic failure mechanisms in both MWCNT and HSCB filled rubbers. © 2015 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

Characterization of the vulcanization process of silicone rubber was achieved through the modeling of dynamic DSC tests. The Kissinger equation and the Kamal‐Sourour model were used to determine kinetic parameters that fit the experimental data. The technique allows for the determination of the activation energy through Kissinger's model, which is then used to mathematically determine the other five parameters for the Kamal‐Sourour model. This novel technique finds a physically meaningful activation energy. The method generates a single set of parameters that accurately models all scanning rates tested (1, 2.5, 5, and 10 K/min). Five formulations of liquid silicone rubber as well as one solid silicone rubber were tested and modeled. For each material, the models generated fitting parameters that were in agreement with the dynamic DSC scans. The models were used to compare the processing of the liquid and solid silicone rubber. The characterization of both materials demonstrates the lower processing time, temperatures, and energy consumption when processing liquid silicone rubber, as compared to processing of hard silicone rubber. 应用均匀设计法设计橡胶配方,研究胶粉、白炭黑、炭黑和棕色树脂粉4种填料对SBR胶料密度、硬度、弯曲屈挠、耐磨耗等7项性能的影响。采用回归分析法拟合试验数据,得到优选的定量描述性能与填料变量之间关系的诸回归方程,利用它们优化和预测配方。验证试验表明,所优的配方密度小、硬度高、其它性能基本达到要求。全面显示了回归分析法在橡胶配方试验中应用的全过程,着重说明了使用回归分析法时不能忽略的几个问题:试验总数、回归模型、回归方程和回归系数的显性检验、剩余标准离差、回归方程的优选和验证试验。 相似文献

In the present study, silica nanoparticles and polypropylene fibers were added to silicone rubber matrix and their effect was investigated on the viscoelastic behavior of silicone rubber composites by dynamic mechanical analysis and compression set test. Bonding of the reinforcements with silicone rubber matrix was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The results proved that the role of silica particles on the elastic modulus of silicone rubber was more effective than that of polypropylene at room temperature because of higher stiffness and also partial interaction of polypropylene with matrix. 相似文献
