本文介绍美国波音公司“先进质量体系”(AQS)中对产品过程能力波动研究的新方法,提出能力指数Cpk的新概念,它能更合理、更全面地反映系统、随机因素对过程能力的影响,还给出了各种特定情况下的Cpk值的计算方法,进而引伸出满足产品关键特性过程能力指数Cpk值的最低界限,为实施产品过程控制,推进连续质量改进提供了科学有效的途径。  相似文献

探讨了目前国际上许多大企业实施的连续质量改进计划-6σ质量计划。事实证明,许多世界级公司通过推行6σ质量计划取得了显著的效益。文章分析了6σ质量的统计解释及其含义,根据国外大公司推行6σ质量计划的成功经验,提出了实施6σ的具体策略。在对我国企业质量管理现状进行大量调查的基础上,分析了我国企业质量管理中存在的问题以及6σ质量计划对我国企业提高质量管理水平的借鉴意义。  相似文献

Reducing process variability is presently an area of much interest in manufacturing organizations. Programmes such as Six Sigma robustly link the financial performance of the organization to the degree of variability present in the processes and products of the organization. Data, and hence measurement processes, play an important part in driving such programmes and in making key manufacturing decisions. In many organizations, however, little thought is given to the quality of the data generated by such measurement processes. By using potentially flawed data in making fundamental manufacturing decisions, the quality of the decision‐making process is undermined and, potentially, significant costs are incurred. Research in this area is sparse and has concentrated on the technicalities of the methodologies available to assess measurement process capability. Little work has been done on how to operationalize such activities to give maximum benefit. From the perspective of one automotive company, this paper briefly reviews the approaches presently available to assess the quality of data and develops a practical approach, which is based on an existing technical methodology and incorporates simple continuous improvement tools within a framework which facilitates appropriate improvement actions for each process assessed. A case study demonstrates the framework and shows it to be sound, generalizable and highly supportive of continuous improvement goals. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Continuous quality improvement in micro-manufacturing processes relies on optimization strategies that relate an output performance to a set of machining parameters. However, when determining the optimal machining parameters in a micro-manufacturing process, the economics of continuous quality improvement and decision makers’ preference information are typically neglected. This article proposes an economic continuous improvement strategy based on an interval programming model. The proposed strategy differs from previous studies in two ways. First, an interval programming model is proposed to measure the quality level, where decision makers’ preference information is considered in order to determine the weight of location and dispersion effects. Second, the proposed strategy is a more flexible approach since it considers the trade-off between the quality level and the associated costs, and leaves engineers a larger decision space through adjusting the quality level. The proposed strategy is compared with its conventional counterparts using an Nd:YLF laser beam micro-drilling process.  相似文献

Standardization and low-carbon economy interact with each other and develop together in the principle of continuous improvement and spiral progress. They embed the social development system in a flexible mode of technical penetration, and become the important links in the industrialization chain of technical innovation. Different total quality management (TQM) environments may be suggested to an organization for improving the quality of products, customer satisfaction, competitiveness and profitability by TQM experts. This paper identifies factors responsible for the TQM environment. All these factors are interacting with each other by different amounts. An attempt has been made to develop a mathematical model of the TQM environment from these interacting factors using a graph theoretic approach. In the graph theoretic model, a directed graph or digraph is used to represent abstract information of the system using directed edges, which is useful for visual analysis. The matrix model developed from the digraph is useful for computer processing. A permanent value of multinomial developed from the matrix represents the environment uniquely by a single number/index, which is useful for comparison, ranking and optimum selection. The method is quite flexible to accommodate new factors and market dynamics in global business in a bid to go for continuous improvement and breakthrough improvement in the environment, product, process and intellectual property rights (IPR).  相似文献

Modern day competition in manufacturing requires producers to rely heavily on continuous quality improvement methods to remain competitive. Reliability being a significant element of quality is the primary means for making design and process improvements. Current reliability allocation methods to establish improvement goals focus on cost reduction but do not necessarily give due consideration to the relative impact of component cost. A method is presented that uses warranty burden rates as a weighting factor to develop component improvement goals. A sample application is given to illustrate application of the method.  相似文献
